Not only do I show you all the foods I eat to support fertility, but I also share my simple and realistic daily habits to help boost fertility. By eating a diet that supports fertility health along with lifestyle, you have a recipe set you up for success! Consistently eating fertility friendly food along with some daily healthy habits to support fertility will only help fertility health and chances of pregnancy whether through trying to conceive naturally or through fertility treatments like IVF.

2:22 - How did you find out your LIPASE is elevated?
Was it a blood test and if so, is it a single blood test or grouped together within a panel?
Also, if you don’t mind, why were you checking your lipase level to begin with?
I have high lipase in my breastmilk. A small percentage of women have higher lipase levels in their breastmilk than normal. Lipase is an enzyme responsible for breaking down fats the in the breastmilk. When there is too much lipase enzyme then it breaks down the fats too quickly causing the milk to develop a horrible soapy/sour smell and taste. It’s still completely safe to give baby, but baby might reject it because of its taste. I found this out because Quinn kept rejecting the bottle so finally when he was 4 months old we started tasting and smelling all of my frozen milk and quickly discovered it was all horrible!! No wonder he wouldn’t take a bottle. So if I wanted to freeze my breastmilk I had to scald it immediately after it was pumped to inactivate the lipase enzyme so I could freeze it without it turning into a soapy taste.

@@lauraellerman9443 yeah I hadn’t either before I had to figure out why Quinn wouldn’t take a bottle. Crazy right?! Yeah there is still a severe lack of lactation support especially in the hospital setting. Thank goodness I had amazing lactation support the first couple of months with Quinn. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to do
