I am concerned about my addiction to this show. I have to go deep inside to find out what's going on with me. I absolutely love this show and I typically do not watch tv. In fact I canceled my cable so I didn't get bombarded with all the negativity that mainstream media provides. But Virgin River has been an amazing escape with beautiful scenery, romance, humor, drama, with lots of surprises, and an amazingly talented cast. Yes, I am definately hooked and now have the opportunity to practice PATIENCE for Season 3 with the lastest and greatest escape entertainment. Love and blessings to all. Take care!!!! I will be watching Virgin River season2 as many times as l can while waiting for season 3. It’s another long wait, but it’s all worth it. A very decent movie worth watching with its talented actors, beautiful sceneries and a very adorable actor in Martin Henderson who keeps in touch with his fans.

Well, this is a hit series World wide. Because it was nr.1 in the U.S.A. but even in a tiny Country like The Netherlands they were nr.1 the day it launched and I absolutely know it is a hit all over!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Virgin River! Beautifully acted with believable chemistry and/or tension between all the characters. Exceptional directing cinematography and lighting. You all keep the viewers wanting more and can't wait to experience the next episode with every cliff hanger and slow reveals of each character's depth and archs. Can't wait for Season THREE!!! Who wouldn't want to be on this set with such brilliant talent in every aspect of production!

Vrigin River is such a beautiful serie and oh so romantic! I can fiel the love vibrations between Mel and Jack so well until here. Also the other storylines with loves between young and older people are so beautiful to follow. And that nature, breathtakingly beautiful!

in the books, Mel gets pregnant to Jack despite having previously been diagnosed as infertile. I don't like it when they change things radically from the books

How about if we “haul our cookies” to British Columbia on the west coast of Canada on the map instead of Saskatchewan on the prairies in the middle of Canada? All of Canada is not just randomly in one place on a map. Please learn some geography.

Wondering what is going to happen to Charmaine and the twins.?I have a feeling that the kids are going to end up with Jack. Charmaine is loosing touch with reality, she still thinks that she can control Jack, and she might be able to do that after the children are born, poor kids, they have a crazy mother.
Jack allows Charmaine to control him, which is very annoying. He needs to own up to Charmaine that he is in love with Mel, when she asks. I love Jack and Mel but I find Jack very pathetic, the way he deals with Charmaine or the way he allows her to manipulate him.
@@georgiabarker6852 I totally agree, the total fiasco of this pregnancy, etc is that Jack let this going on too long with Charmaine when he is not in love with her. He also demonstrates his inability to set things straight with Brady. He just can't set limits.

He just showed that he is deeply wounded by rebellious wanting to go canoeing in such dangerous conditions that would he had done it, he wouldn't have survived that.. we only have seen the side of Mel..
What's up with Jack besides he is in love for the first time in his life and always tries to help and safe everybody else in Town.. he has enemies and I guess he himself is his worst enemy.
I am afraid that Mel is in love with the type of guy you want to stay far away from..
Nevertheless, I hope many, many more series will follow because this old fashion type of series is just what the World needs very badly right now, to escape from reality and all that's going on..

@@kaitie2432 that would a good storyline as long as the writers don't drag out any guilty feelings in Jack and in Mel that would affect their relationship. I know it's an adaptation but I'm a bit annoyed at how much power the writers have given Charmaine and how much her pregnancy featured in season 2. Charmaine barely features in the book and she is also a much nicer, more reasonable person in the book.

I LOVE the books. I've enjoyed listening to them on Audible several times. I also like the series but they are so dissimilar that I have to constantly remind myself to enjoy them separately. The books are FAR SUPERIOR so far. The cast is great but the writers have done so things I truly don't appreciate. Charmaine and Dan Brady are the 2 characters I really like much better in the books. The version of Dan Brady in the books is one of my favorite characters EVER. Robyn Carr was genius in her creation of him. I wish the Netflix writers hadn't ruined him. Having said all that I will continue to watch ever reminding myself that they are truly 2 different stories for the most part. I've watched season 1 3 times and season 2 twice.... I do appreciate it too. Just like the books better.
Has anyone noticed in season 1 episode 6 when Mel & Jack are at the “pot farm” that Mel operates on Calvin’s left leg - but in the rest of the show, Calvin has his cane in his right hand 😵😂
From someone with multiple joint replacements, I can tell you that you don't always use your cane on the same side of the injured leg. The opposing arm/hand is more common.

When is the start of the season 3 of virgin river?
Except for the characters being the same the book and the tv series they have nothing in common. The storyline in the book dies not have any kind of relationship between Doc and Hope and Jack gets Mel pregnant the first time they sleep together. I like the Doc and Hope tweak, but I think developing the Mel being pregnant scenario would be much more interesting then the Charmaine story. I am not terribly impressed with Robin Carr’s books. They all depict men that are so unrealistic in their treatment of the women- way too saintly. Just my opinion.

@@emiliavenezian3308 in the book Mel sleeps with Jack and gets pregnant from that one encounter. They get married and she gets pregnant a second time, almost at once. The gal who runs the food truck gets abducted by her nasty husband. Charmaine is not involved at all except as an occasional outlet for Jack until her finds Mel. The Lily and Chloe line follows the book OK. As you can see there is absolutely no semblemce between the book and the tv series. I am surprised Robyn Carr did not have more control over how Sue Tenant changed the storyline so much as to be unrecognizable.
