The human experience isn’t a fairy tale, it’s hope, love and loss and how it effects everyone differently. As for Mel having children she’s made it clear that she can’t have children and Jack knows this. I have no idea what will happen between the 3 of them but I believe Mel wouldn’t want Jack to miss out on having children of his own that’s admirable. Life throws curveballs, and in relationships the person you love the most may not love you back it happens all the time, why Charnaine’s character plays an important role in this story. Good or bad we don’t know much about her and Jack before Mel got there. Jack has a past we’re still learning about. It’s all relevant as we’ve seen a lot of character development in two seasons. I hope she doesn’t leave but if she does i don’t see how that can be good at this place but trying to understand her makes it interesting imo. She has her entire life and career in Clear River she’d have to leave and I don’t think she will, I think it was a manipulative move to see how dedicated Jack is. Such a great show, where removing characters would not be realistic in real life. Many co parents in the world. The people who weren’t a couple in love have babies, just like married couples in love do, some make it some don’t. Divorce, unrequited love, right person wrong time. Personal experience, love and loss it’s hard to be Mel, just like it’s hard to be Jack or Charmaine. Everyone in this show has a story, all complicated in their own way. In two seasons each character has their struggles, there’s not one perfect couple in the show, why it’s so good. It’s perfect who haven’t given up hope. That’s my two cents..

However, due to the manipulative character of Charmaine, it is frustrating to watch her, particularly when she is so mean to Mel for no reason. As for her and Jack, it was always made clear that he did not love her and wanted nothing serious with her. In real life, you pay the consequences for not knowing when to move on when the other person is not in love, no matter how much YOU are in love. In real life, it just wouldn't wash, the way she is always attacking Mel. In real life you would also believe she deliberately got pregnant to trap Jack, which would be an evil move but at the same time, would have also been evil to wish a miscarriage, lol. As for Mel and pregnancy, she was having fertility treatment and she did not want to stop, which means she still thought it was possible. She had hope...
I loved the whole thing , Mel and Jacks , what a love story... the music didn’t bother me, I watched the whole season on Friday and to have all their emotions on one video, it’s so beautiful ! So , thank you so much for this wonderful job ! God’s blessings to everyone that watched the series !
I have the whole 3 seasons twice. Its a very moving love story. Martin and Alex are great actors and make the atoryline very believable. Im sure i will watch it again. Cant wait for the next season.

My take on season 3; Charmaine shot Jack because she couldn’t have him. She is convicted of attempted murder and is sent to prison for the criminally insane, the twins are born and Jack gets permanent custody, he and Mel raise the twins as a family.

Right from when she walked in the door at the bar in Series 1, she and Jack clicked. The highs and the lows have kept us enthralled. Just a wonderful series to watch.
What makes this series so light and enjoyable to watch (despite the tragedies that have happened in the lives of some characters), is its normality. Mel and Jack together looks like it's the same thing in real life with so much chemistry. Mel's light, kindness and empathy and Jack's honesty, bravery and respect are enchanting (not to mention their physical appearance). Although only normal things happen, it is without a doubt one of the best series I've ever watched in my life. It's the kind of show that makes us even a little sad when we're done. And one last thing: You nailed the choice of actors/actresses!

They will have to address Jack’s PTSD and drinking in the next season. They will end up pushing each other away again before the come together at the end of season 3. I think Charmaine will die in childbirth and Jack and Mel will get to raise the children. It is entirely possible that Charmaine is the one who shot Jack. Maybe she went to the bar and he confessed that Mel and him are in officially a couple and she freaked out. We’ve been led to believe that the pot farmers were responsible, so Charmaine would be a shocker to the viewers.
I have simply fallen in love with Virgin River, all the residents, and specifically the beautiful moments between Jack and Mel. I love everything about this couple, the honesty, loyalty……alllllllll of it❤
I just watched this series the other night. I was so hooked that I stayed up all night and the next day until I watched it all. I don't normally watch this type of show but I'm happy I did. This story seemed believable (too bad about the twins) and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm too old for gushy romantic comments but damn Jack is Hot!!! LOL
This is funny bc I did the same thing. I'm not a binge watcher but I stayed up until 4:45 am watching the entire series. And I've watched it again and may watch it a third time. I love Jack and Mel he is hot. I'm ready for Season 5. They need to hurry up and release it.

My favourite parts of season 2 are 1. I love Jack and Mel lovemaking and morning-after scene. The scene was amazing the way they looked into each other eyes and music to compliment it 2. I love the part where Mel confesses her love for Jack, it was truly emotional. Mel was afraid but she finds the courage, to be honest, and let her guard down. Her walls were coming down and it was beautifully scened. 3. Mel & Jack at the fair was great. 4. I love the way she went find the truth for him in ep 10 and again the loving making scene was phenomenal to watch because they connected so well like people really in love with each other. Virgin River season 2 was better than one in my opinion. I will like to see Mel and Jack's relationship develop more in season 3 because they have something thing really special between them ( Soulmate and true love.) I honestly have watched Virgin River season 2 more time it was great.
I agree with your list but I would add the kayak scene because it truly shows how much she cares and that she will fight for him. Also, Preacher could have called anyone: Hope(who has known him longest), Doc(the most rational person in town), or even Charmaine(to remind him he has kids to think of) but he knew Mel was the only one who would be able to get through to Jack and pull him back from the brink. I would also add the knife scene because there was no reason for Jack to be at the clinic but he somehow ended up there when Mel needed him the most and when Mel screamed for him you could hear the comfort in her voice that she knew he was there. Despite still being a little angry with her he also calmed her down and took her home.
You have beautifully described all my favourite scenes and for obvious reasons. Both the love making scenes were extraordinary and one could actually feel the love they have for each other is so deep, pure and honest❤️. One more scene to add here is when Jack tells Mel if she still thinks he doesn’t understand that there is no timeline of getting over the grief. It actually depicts how hurt Jack is in accepting Mel never gonna love him and then that confession happens ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it’s so beautiful that I’m just running short of words.

Mel was just scared of moving on with Jack, complication about Charming and Jack relationship concerning when the baby comes and if his feeling were going to change for her. I think Mel finally understand Jack feeling for her was not going to change and her sister advice about her finding love twice when some people never find it once played part in her confession, but he was hurt knowing she does not want to give them a chance. Mel & Jack are great together and I would love for their relationship to grow in hopefully a 3&4 season.
Just watching these clips. Yes you can see the chemistry between them. And what makes a good show, the chemistry & if they do ever get together shows usually end. But can always almost get together & then don't. Unless the writers know how to keep the chemistry. Kinda like soaps or hallmark movies. Especially the murder mystery ones.

Same here. While I love Mel and Jack, the supporting characters of Doc and Hope are just sappy. A successful, handsome man would never sit around for 20 years tolerating the verbal abuse by his ex wife . Additionally, my eyes wouldn’t quit rolling when I saw how Doc got all worked up over a silly egg race. I would have loved to see the relationship between Preacher and Paige heat up before she bolted out of town.

I don't think Charmaine shot Jack....I actually think it's someone not part of season 1 or 2...a new mystery character. ..I also think the twins are not Jacks. ..I think Charaine had a one night stand with someone...possibly Brady???? That is exactly right, he told her he was falling In love with her, she she I just need some time to think about this, he said take your time I am not going anywhere. So she did and frankly I think she went to tell her dead husband good bye. Since she went to his grave and talked to him. When Jack was upset at Doc’s office when she got back and he said he changed his mind, that was why Mel’s expression. Changed because he told her to take her time I’m not going anywhere.

What makes this series so light and enjoyable to watch (despite the tragedies that have happened in the lives of some characters), is its normality. Mel and Jack together looks like it's the same thing in real life with so much chemistry. Mel's light, kindness and empathy and Jack's honesty, bravery and respect are enchanting (not to mention their physical appearance). Although only normal things happen, it is without a doubt one of the best series I've ever watched in my life. It's the kind of show that makes us even a little sad when we're done. And one last thing: You nailed the choice of actors/actresses!

They will have to address Jack’s PTSD and drinking in the next season. They will end up pushing each other away again before the come together at the end of season 3. I think Charmaine will die in childbirth and Jack and Mel will get to raise the children. It is entirely possible that Charmaine is the one who shot Jack. Maybe she went to the bar and he confessed that Mel and him are in officially a couple and she freaked out. We’ve been led to believe that the pot farmers were responsible, so Charmaine would be a shocker to the viewers.

I just watched this series the other night. I was so hooked that I stayed up all night and the next day until I watched it all. I don't normally watch this type of show but I'm happy I did. This story seemed believable (too bad about the twins) and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm too old for gushy romantic comments but damn Jack is Hot!!! LOL
It is entirely possible that Charmaine is the one who shot Jack. I think she’ll die in childbirth and then Jack and Mel can raise the babies.
This is funny bc I did the same thing. I'm not a binge watcher but I stayed up until 4:45 am watching the entire series. And I've watched it again and may watch it a third time. I love Jack and Mel he is hot. I'm ready for Season 5. They need to hurry up and release it.

My favourite parts of season 2 are 1. I love Jack and Mel lovemaking and morning-after scene. The scene was amazing the way they looked into each other eyes and music to compliment it 2. I love the part where Mel confesses her love for Jack, it was truly emotional. Mel was afraid but she finds the courage, to be honest, and let her guard down. Her walls were coming down and it was beautifully scened. 3. Mel & Jack at the fair was great. 4. I love the way she went find the truth for him in ep 10 and again the loving making scene was phenomenal to watch because they connected so well like people really in love with each other. Virgin River season 2 was better than one in my opinion. I will like to see Mel and Jack's relationship develop more in season 3 because they have something thing really special between them ( Soulmate and true love.) I honestly have watched Virgin River season 2 more time it was great.
I agree with your list but I would add the kayak scene because it truly shows how much she cares and that she will fight for him. Also, Preacher could have called anyone: Hope(who has known him longest), Doc(the most rational person in town), or even Charmaine(to remind him he has kids to think of) but he knew Mel was the only one who would be able to get through to Jack and pull him back from the brink.
I would also add the knife scene because there was no reason for Jack to be at the clinic but he somehow ended up there when Mel needed him the most and when Mel screamed for him you could hear the comfort in her voice that she knew he was there. Despite still being a little angry with her he also calmed her down and took her home.

You have beautifully described all my favourite scenes and for obvious reasons. Both the love making scenes were extraordinary and one could actually feel the love they have for each other is so deep, pure and honest❤️. One more scene to add here is when Jack tells Mel if she still thinks he doesn’t understand that there is no timeline of getting over the grief. It actually depicts how hurt Jack is in accepting Mel never gonna love him and then that confession happens ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it’s so beautiful that I’m just running short of words.

Mel was just scared of moving on with Jack, complication about Charming and Jack relationship concerning when the baby comes and if his feeling were going to change for her. I think Mel finally understand Jack feeling for her was not going to change and her sister advice about her finding love twice when some people never find it once played part in her confession, but he was hurt knowing she does not want to give them a chance. Mel & Jack are great together and I would love for their relationship to grow in hopefully a 3&4 season.

Just watching these clips. Yes you can see the chemistry between them. And what makes a good show, the chemistry & if they do ever get together shows usually end. But can always almost get together & then don't. Unless the writers know how to keep the chemistry. Kinda like soaps or hallmark movies. Especially the murder mystery ones.

This is one of those shows that I hated like the first episode and then I was hooked now I'm a huge fan and I can't wait for season 3
Same here. While I love Mel and Jack, the supporting characters of Doc and Hope are just sappy. A successful, handsome man would never sit around for 20 years tolerating the verbal abuse by his ex wife . Additionally, my eyes wouldn’t quit rolling when I saw how Doc got all worked up over a silly egg race. I would have loved to see the relationship between Preacher and Paige heat up before she bolted out of town.
@@kaitie2432 I totally agree they didn't really give Paige and preacher a chance I also feel like they try to make it so complicated so it's not boring like adding in the fact that Charmaine is pregnant but yet she has to live at Hope's house but hope doesn't like her they could just really make sense and it was too much

I don't think Charmaine shot Jack....I actually think it's someone not part of season 1 or 2...a new mystery character. ..I also think the twins are not Jacks. ..I think Charaine had a one night stand with someone...possibly Brady???? Because she was upset with Jack....I think some how that will come out in season 3 unless they drag that storyline out into season 4

So she did and frankly I think she went to tell her dead husband good bye. Since she went to his grave and talked to him. When Jack was upset at Doc’s office when she got back and he said he changed his mind, that was why Mel’s expression. Changed because he told her to take her time I’m not going anywhere.
