New Travato owner here. This is the simplest, most concise demonstration I've found on RUclips for the Truma Combi control panel. All of my anxiety about using this is gone. Thank you!
Thanks. I am so glad that I helped you.
I am a new owner and have been learning one system at a time. Your video is excellent and I am sure it will remove any frustration and it will help me work through the manual which is not always as complete as it should be. Thanks very much
Glad to help. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Thank you for creating this video. We just picked up our van last weekend, and had a very thorough walkthrough. It was just so much that I could not remember how to work the Truma control panel.
Glad to help. I have other orientation videos you might find helpful.
I am in total agreement with the person that wrote this comment. I too, just picked up my van and was overwhelmed with the info and could not figure out how to turn the heater on until I watched this video. Simple and easy to understand instructions! Thank you!
@@pnwrving9841 Makes me happy to know I can help.
Just recently purchased a winnebago travato 59k. Searched the manual for a clear explanation on how to operate the hot water & furnace. Have the exact same control as you're showing. You have the absolute best, simple explanation of the operation of system. Thanks so much!!
Thanks. Glad I could help.
Finally a video I can understand. Thank you
Thanks, glad I was able to help you.
THANKS for a great presentation
Thank you
Ty! Wish they explained it that well at the delivery walk through!! Needed this info!
Glad to help.
I have had the Truma for over a year and this is the first time I have understood the control panel. I always thought the little flame above the coach meant gas heat. Thank you for this great video. 👍👍
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for another helpful video. I’m trying to learn all I can before I take delivery of my Beyond. It’s nice to know I can always come back to these videos for a refresher course!
Glad to help.
Best walk though of the Truma control panel I have ever seen.
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much..great info done well
Thanks
Please keep making videos. Very helpful and pleasant to watch because you seem like such a great guy
Thanks, I enjoy making videos. It's like therapy for me.
Is there any thing in particular you would like me to look into making?
That was a very good, clear instruction, thank you.
Glad to help.
Oh the combo energy source for water heating is cool. Nice feature. We really want to take that class B leap.
Really helpful video Gard. Thanks much! George in FL
Glad to help!
Great tutorial, thank you & camera shots very helpful👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you.
Nice job with this. Very helpful!
Thank you.
I learn something new each time you post a blog!!! Thank you! Can you set a different schedule time for the heat and hot water?
Thanks! As far as I know you can only set up only one program for the Truma.
Thank you. Nice explanation, but when you selected the wrench/settings and rotated through you stopped at the "CR..." version. There are more options if you continue to rotate, one of which is the Reset which can be invaluable.
Thanks, and thanks for the extra info.
Thanks!
Glad to help,
👍👍
Hi great video can I run this system when the boiler is empty no water in it thanks ray
You can run the cabin heat, just don't turn on the water heater portion with the system winterized.
I noticed the little electric plug in the lower right. Does the Truma run on 12V if you just want propane heat or does it need the inverter or shore power turned on?
It will run on just propane but it needs 12 volts to run the controls and fans. To run it on electric it needs to be plugged in or have the inverter on with the Li3 package.
Anybody: Just got my Coachmen Gallerira. Do you have to turn the propane switch on before you set the heater on via Truma? Thank you.
If you are plugged into shore power and set the Truma to EL1 or EL2 the propane can be off.
If you are going to run the Truma on Propane only or Mix1 or Mix2 the propane switch needs to be turned on.
@@CampingCoastie Thank you for the quick reply!
So is there only 1 timer? I'd like my heating cool overnight, then warmer at a specific time in the morning and I also want my water heater off overnight, but switching on early in the morning, so there's hot water for a shower when I get up. Is that possible?
I haven't tried that. I believe it has just one timer.
Is there a way to turn off the Truma LED panel during storage so the screen is blank? If so, how do you then turn it on?
If putting it in storage I press the use/store button to store. Then, I turn off the solar panels. I then turn off the batteries.
I have a 2017/2018 22C and do not have a switch like you have to turn off solar. I do have on my control panel, a master battery off switch. When that is off the solar panel and the truma panel are still lite. Just wondering if there is a way to turn off the Truma panel so the screen is blank. Thanks. @@CampingCoastie
@@jerryphillips7330 Try pressing the rotary button for more than 3 seconds to turn it off or on.
I learn a lot things from you, thank you. But I still have a problem…. I can’t turn the air conditioner “ on”. Could you please tell me how to do this?
Which AC do you have and which batteries?

Do you have a generator built into you Beyond, or is it a Li3 model?
@@CampingCoastie Yes, I have the generator which is the standard features on Beyond, but no Li3 Lithium battery
Hello, so it took so long to get back to you. If you are not plugged in you will need to run your generator. If you start the generator do you see it charging the battery? If not, you need to crawl under the van and check the circuit breaker on the generator. It will be behind a small cover.
If that breaker is not tripped check to see if the breaker in the coach is tripped.
I did a reset on the Truma control panel "wrench" icon due to an error message. Now Truma will not go back to the display home screen. Any suggestions. Thanks.
Maybe turning off your main battery switch and then back on again.
@@CampingCoastie And the main battery switch would be located where.....
@@lucchetti1 What model do you have?
@@CampingCoastie 2022 Beyond 22C.
@@lucchetti1 do you have AGM batteries or the Li3? If you have the Li3 press the store side of the use/store rocker switch. You can then press and hold the big silver button on the Li3 SOC panel. After it powers down press and hold the silver button until it says it powering up. Then press the use side of the use/store button.
I believe on the AGM batteries there is also a use/ store button. If so, press store, wait a couple of seconds and then use.
