I would have put Knob 12 on both lists, but I forgot to grab the bottle. @ 55 - 60 bucks it's a definite buy. Anything over that, and it stays on the shelf. 🥃

@jojonelson6116 honestly, 12 is in a realm of its own. The closest to it to me is the 9 year.

At 65 years old some affect my vision and how I feel the next morning. I think it will be different for different people, but the 3 that stand out for me for the price are the 90 proof Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey, the 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, and the 100 proof Early Times that tastes a little better with some ice added. All are low sugar, compared to all the mixed drinks that are sugar bombs.
OGD Bonded and Early Times are definite bangers. I actually like the Old Bernheim better. I found an old bottle with the plastic copper colored badge, and to me it hits on all cylinders. 🥃
WT 101 is low key a good sipper with a cigar. Dickel 13 is just good, sorry not sorry. Totally agree on HH BIB…Need to try OGD Bonded….All great selections Myron. Cheers!

Good choices! I personally like the HH BinB and it’s at Sam’s for 32.00 bucks:) The JJ Bowman is all over in my area and I picked up three bottles about 6 months ago for 37.00 bucks:) and I think I’ll always have Knob Creeks around. Cheers!

No coopers craft 100 one of my hitters. I’ll disagree with you on HH bib I have had four of them and every bottle was good. Just killed my OF 100 I like their rye as well. I’m more partial to the Soft red wheat from BH the bib is good but I’d buy the wheat if side by side. Of course I’m about WT 101 and I like their rye as well. Great list. Enjoy!!

I love Knob Creek. I feel the same way about the Heaven Hill BIB. It's like whatever. I found a store pick of the Rittenhouse Rye. Cooper's Craft 100 is a good buy as well. I found one for 23.99. Great video! 🥃

I am so with you on the Heaven Hill BiB. it’s hard to find in VA but when I finally found one I was kind of wondering what all the fuss was about and why is it allocated here. May as well just get an always available Elijah C small batch. Great job btw on the live show a few nights ago.

WOOWWWWW!!!! I felt the EXACT same way about Heaven Hill BIB when it hit my state for the first time a few months ago. I bought one and loved it after one pour, then I bought a backup bottle. I really like the JD Bonded haven't bought the JD Triple. What do you like about the triple vs. the bonded. ET is very good, cheers.
The triple mash seems to be more flavorful and have fruitier notes. 🥃
Where did you find the Holaday SRW I can't find it anywhere in Maryland and do they have the Rickhouse had to order mine and its Great.
I got the bourbon at the Total Wine in MoCo, the soft red at S&W. He has both. The Wine Shoppe in Waldorf has them too. I haven't seen any Rickhouse Proofs in the wild. 🥃
