I'm a transitioning vegan. I love dahi, and this cruelty-free version is a blessing. Thank you so much! 🌱
Best of luck ❤️
Super and. Good.
Thank you for choosing (animal) cruelty-free diet.
^_^
What's ur motivation to be vegan ? I have seen indian vegetarians who are doctrined to consume dairy. What's ur motivation ? May I ask ?
Good to see u choosing cruelty free
You nailed it. Searching vegan recipies for a year. Tried several times vegan curd but failed.. But now, I will. Please please post vegan recipies. The future is vegan , the future must be disease free
Hi, did this work?
mohit yadav I agree about the future being disease-free, but I strongly disagree about the vegan thing. Cavemen ate meat with few greens. Why would we go the opposite way in the coming decades??
@@SwiftTelly20 because he didn't know that meat is bad for health, caveman has very shorter lifespan compared to us, have you ever thought about it?
@@SwiftTelly20 cavemen dint have milk from cows which were injected with hormones to increase the yeld
@@SwiftTelly20 so if u are all for consuming meat, then based on what are you agreeing on a future which is disease free? Yr sentence in contradictory. In the first place, disease was brought about by the meat eating albinos.
You can also make "oatgurt" with soaked oats too. Blend well, cook, and you can strain it before adding your starter but it's a messy pain. I prefer to just leave the fiber in for added health benefits and thickness, just blend well after heating. Never tried using chili stems for the starter though, I always freeze a bit of my last batch and use that, but going to have to try this, thankyou!
I made Raita out of this curd and dum Biryani and my family couldn't even tell the difference! Just like she says, it tastes very similar to usual curd when used in recipes! Thank you! 🙏
Wow, that sound nice 👍!!!
That’s really good to hear. I’m going to try it today so can I please tell me if the milk should be warm while adding chilli stalk ?
@@smitanaren not really, i brought it to room temperature before soaking the stalks
@@aditirao5955 Thank you
Just what I've been looking for... feeling so relieved 🙏🙏🙏
Lovely! Vegan curd is sensational - on its own it bears the flavour of the plant it came from, but when we put it into our favourite dishes it doesn't taste any different! I have made Gujarati kadhi with soy yoghurt and I couldn't tell any difference! I really want to try out this peanut curd!
Thank you so much for this recipe! I have been looking for a vegan yogurt recipe for so long that doesn't require a starter or probiotic capsules. I knew there had to be a natural way and you shared it! I am going to try this with almonds. Much love!
My word... I really learned a valuable lesson today. So simple and natural 😊. You explained it so simply and to the point. Love you and bless you and your family 😍🙏🏻
When it comes to Vegan milk, we have the options of Soyabeans milk, the cotton seed milk..
Curd culture...superb...
Just for your info, Amul has lactose free milk
It still is not vegan
Thanks for this, I was waiting for this idea for such a long time, it's Soo simple
This just blew my mind!!
Amazing stuff!!
Please keep sharing more such vegan recipes..
Thanks a load :)
The way you speak is amazing. Thanks for making this video. Highly Helpful.
Thank you guys so much for making videos on vegan recipes. I think it's extremely important to spread the vegan message and also that vegan diet (or lifestyle) is not at all restrictive in fact, anything can be made vegan.
Yes! Vegan series is amazing!!! Can't wait for next week's episode!
Lana Carter thank you 😊
This is beautiful.. Have been looking for this concept thank you
It's amazing! I am shocked from this magical transformation! ❤️ 🌿 Gonna make it! Thank you 🙋♂️
Amazing so meaningful .. never thought before that Peanuts curd ... would love to eat it ❤❤❤
This blew my mind!! Just when I thought i'd seen everything. Chilli stems!? I've had coconut yoghurt and soy yoghurt. Coconut is my favourite, but will give this one a go!
K KB 👍🏼😊
I love my homemade coconut yoghurt the most. It becomes almost like vanilla, even without sugar or vanilla. Sooo good! I love it even with some simple airfried spicy sweet potatoes with spicy BBQ sauce. Mellows the spice which I have a bit of a challenge with. I just add a little salt to the curd. Sooooo yum! I usually use a probiotic with a lot of different good bacteria as the starter or the last yoghurt, if I have. YUM❣️🌱🧑🎤🙌👍❤️
@@lottatroublemaker6130 plz let me know the process of setting coconut yogurt. I am vegan so would appreciate it. Thanx
Could you share the coconut yogurt process plz?
@@lottatroublemaker6130 can you please give the coconut curd recipe
this is amazing!!!!!! thank you so much for giving recipe of vegan yogurt which is so natural!!! no need to use probiotics or anything!! you’re great!! I’m very excited to try it out! I turned into vegan n this looks greatttt substitute for all indian recipes calling for dahi!!
Thank you for this recipe! I don't have any store closer to buy probiotic capsule. This is great, I will try just chill tops and it will curd. Amazing. Praise God.
wonderful recipe. I have a fig tree in my mother's yard. I know the sap has been used to curdle cows milk. I never thought that non dairy Milk can make cheese curds. thanks for the recipe!
Beautifully presented and very well explained. I love this video.
Thank you so much, this is so so so wonderful!!! I've had so many issues finding a SIMPLE & CHEAP zero-waste vegan yogurt recipe and this finally suits those requirements! I don't like the taste of soy milk in my yogurt so I feel like this will finally work! Thank you so much again!
Zero waste? How the pulp is wasted
This is such a great video and a great series as well. I see so many videos recommending expensive probiotic capsules to set the yogurt but this option you suggested is amazing!!! Thank you! And I cannot get over the texture, it looked exactly like regular yogurt.

How does it taste? Similar to the non-vegan ?
@@pankteetrivedi9354 surprisingly it tastes very similar on some days. Sometimes it has a peanut taste. but I'm used to it now so it's pretty good I'd say.
I'm definitely trying this one! Thank you!

Aishi Gupta yes
It's vegan.. if u r a vegan or want a 100% vegan curd, best do as said in the video
Wow - die Idee ist einmalig! Great idea! Thank you!
You are too good Nupurji. Thanks! 🙏
Hi Nupur this is amazing...will surely try...however also wanted to know if there's a receipe for vegan ghee? If so pls do upload the video
Christina Nancy thank you.. will try
Hey, veganism doesn't say go the extreme way. As long as it's practicable and permissible, do it. As an Indian one can't avoid using ghee in dal etc, of course if we find an alternative to that it's amazing but try not to feel too guilty about it if you can't! so many medications are also not vegan, so just don't worry too much!
I know I'm late but there's this product called Emkay vegan ghee in the Indian market it's superb I've been using it for sometime now and you literally won't feel as if you're consuming plant based ghee. Don't look for recipes for homemade ghee it's not worth the hassle.
This is amazing. I'm just confused what happens to the chillies. Do I need to fish them out later or they have to stay in the bow?
Fish them out after its set.. after that you’ll have starter and won’t need to use more chillies.
Wow 😊..never knew that we could make yogurt with peanuts and also using green chilli tops as a starter and not any probiotics. Very interesting 😉. Want to try some more vegan yogurts especially coconut and sesame yogurts. Thank you for the video 😊
Thank you so much for the reciepe I wanted this from long....god bless🙏
Peanut milk boil karte hi fat jata hai why ❓
Is it possible to do same process with coconut or soy milk😇
Sure
Thank you so much for making this video: so nicely and clearly explained in a really simple way.. Otherwise vegan recipe videos can be a little intimidating
Neha you are so pretty! 😊
Thank you so much for the vegan recipe much needed 🤩🙏
Amazing video, gonna try this and keep updated. Thanks :)
I tried using the chilly tops with coconut milk. It didn't form at all. Is this only for groundnut milk?
Glad you asked. I was wondering if I could use coconut milk. Guess not.
We should not boil coconut milk. All the beneficial properties gone.I think it's for Peanuts only
When do you remove chilli tops from peanut milk/curd?
Once curd sets
Great! Thank you very much :) Does it work only with peanuts, or any nuts and vegan milk?
This is awesome! Thanks. Quick question: would lemon juice do the same job of curdling? I have seen it used in an almond version. Also, does the addition of salt make a difference? thanks
How come the chilli stems were missing once the curd was set...
Great question. She didn't explain that??
She pulled them out off camera. But you can still see The Impressions they left in the curd if you pause the video. It would have been great if she had just shown herself removing the stems. I can't believe how simple it is and it looks just like real Kurt it's amazing!
*curd
this didn’t work for me:(
it turned out to be messy textured and foul smelling as if it was spoilt. wonder what i did wrong. any tips?
I'll try it in a day or two and share if anything I learn from success or failure. Maybe boil enough to kill any bad bacteria. Hope it would work.
Mm, thanks for this nice recipe without any starter.
nupur this is so so good to know. will definitely try this
This looks good, thanks for the recipe, but just dont use this curd at night, as peanuts can cause a lot of gas.
Mind blowing video 👍💖
Nemat Ahmad thank you 😊
My my !! Such a useful piece of information....my child is lactose intolerant...i ll be trying this for sure!
Wow! I can’t wait to try this. 🙏
Where is chiili tops..?
pawankumar angadi this was premade with vegan curd starter ... when using chilli tops you need to discard Fter curd is ready
Ok good....but where is chilli tops???
FIRDAUS FATIMA as she said the chilli tops is only required when ur setting vegan curd for the first time after that u can use vegan curd to set the next batch of curd maybe this was the second batch of vegan curd that is the reason we didn’t see the chilli tops hope u get it
Thank u so much... it will definitely try this
Looks awesome !!!! Nice thick curd !
I will try this over weekend.. Anyone tried making Shrikhand from this curd ? Did that work well ?
Why people are preferring vegan diets?
What is wrong with cow milk?
Nothing but cruelty on cows and adultering
Yes adulteration 😔 is a big fear.
@@ayshahiba3123 Yes. Ok.
Coz of the way cows are treated, try watching videos of how they extract milk from cows, they are impregnated on purpose just for the production of milk (if it happens to a human, we call it rape), they don’t let their babies drink mother’s milk, they are separated, and this process is done until the cows can’t give milk anymore, then they’re just sent out for killing and be eaten as meat. Vegan is all about being empathetic not just to our human fellows but also to each and every creature on earth, it’s letting animals live the way they want to live, not being used for human satisfaction. Hope I answered your question.
Convenient especially for ckd patients. Thank you so much.
Waaoo....The texture is amazing
Absolutely Wonderful and a new approach that i didn't know before ! Thank you Nupur! Please show us how to make traditional vegan filter coffee !
