Like sauerkraut or other lactofermented vegetables they have the bacteria on the surface. I will definitely try it out if I find organic chillis somewhere.
Excellent video! We are both in our 80's and are all about healthy aging. We still strive for a healthy body, a calm mind, and a positive outlook. And we feel better than ever! * Totally whole food, plant-based, no oil eaters.* We are doing research for our new tiny RUclips channel and learned a lot here. Thank you and keep it going!
I cannot have dairy milk curd, I have no such reaction to other dairy products. Sadly the only thing I liked was curd. So this video is what I needed. Thank you so much :)
I have just learned so much from you! I would never have considered making peanut milk--lots of protein and very inexpensive. I love your use of natural starters too. Thank you for this video. Such a wealth of information.
Hi Nisa, Thank you so much for your amazing recipes with total simplicity, honesty and precision - very professional and human at the same time !! You have a generous heart and I am so happy to share this planet with generous humans like you!! Bless you !!!
Just awesome. Was thinking that curd from nut is not possible. Myth broken and now it can be done with multiple nuts. Thanks for showing way out to be dairy free
I'm not too sure I would like the coconut or peanut curd, but can't WAIT to try the cashew!! I've made other stuff with soaked cashews and loved the sweet, mild flavor. Cashews are so versatile. I bet the almond would be good, too, but I don't wanna mess with those skins. I'm so happy I found this! Thanks for posting. The other cool thing is that, unlike with dairy or soy, you don't have to maintain that 112F degree temp while it ferments. Or, that's what I gather from this video. Funny, though, I wouldn't have called this curd. I wudda called it yoghurt. I think of curd as the separation of milk solids from the whey such as cottage cheese or paneer. I'm amazed that this can be done with a chili pepper!
Thanks a lot.. its so life saviour for us bcz our therapist suggested to go for diary free and gluten free . But we cant give up on milk and curd .cant wait to try this . Thanks a lot..

You're like a blessings to ppl like me who's trying to disease God bless you ! Also can you please show which kind of curd works best for typical indian recipes. I had tried making peanut curd but the taste was quite weird.
thank you so much for this video. I have been looking for vegan yogurt, with almond milk, this is the easiest and healthiest method i found on youtube :)
I absolutely love all your recipes! My mother and I are your big fans, and follow most of your recipes. I am a vegan, and am experimenting different types of plant based milks and curd. I recently made oat milk following your recipe, it was nice and non-slimy. Thank you for all your efforts and your wonderful healthy recipes.
Great recipes, Nisha ji. Thank you. How do we use the residue left after straining the milk? One use could probably be in making dough. Please suggest other uses. Thanks.
you can make almond flour out of almond pulp, or use it directly in cookies and cakes. peanut pulp can be used directly in few cookies or chutneys. There are a few recipes on the internet, use the keyword "pulp" when searching
Wow! these are so much better for both us and the planet! with all these options who needs dairy? Cow milk is meant for baby cows not humans. just like dog milk or ape milk. no one would even think of drinking those. And if you've ever seen the videos of a mama cow wailing for her stolen babies.. it's heartbreaking. here are perfect options to replace all that cruelty. Thank you thank you! I will try the cashew one first I think as I really like cashew milk. awesome
@@thedemocratic_indian Every plant has its own life span. Besides that, we do not uproot the entire plant and kill it to eat. We only utilize the fruit it gives. Also, cruel methods of breeding is evident only in animals. As for plants, they're genetically engineered. I drink cow's milk too, and I believe it's a gift of God, but I do feel bad in the cases where large dairy companies exploit the animals for their business. Please don't try to justify cruelty by saying we kill plants too, and that we can't save the world by eating vegan food. We do it because our conscience doesn't let us consume animal products, also, it's healthier.

Thanks for the great, easy recipes. I'm done buying probiotics. My cashew and almond curd still turned out a bit grainy in texture, but it's likely because my basic blender is not as powerful as your 1300 motor. Lol. I think I'll use a nut bag next time. Your thoughts?
Thanks ma'm for uploading vegan recipes of curd. Dairy products and milk r anyway cruelty towards cattles and their calves. Demand for milk is many many times higher than the supply. To fulfill this demand ,many unwanted and cruel methods r used on poor and helpless animals. The vegan milk is good and healthy option. Soya milk can also b made using same method a healthy and cheaper option
