I just don’t like the idea of Mothwing becoming leader because her entire life she has spent desperately wanting to be and prove herself as a MEDICINE CAT. We already had this entire plotline in Mistystar’s Omen and even TBC where Mothwing fought to defend her position against intense opposition and did not willingly back down. So to suddenly make her LEADER when shes one of the very few main medicine cats that actually Wanted to be a healer… It feels incredibly mean spirited and unfair to her specifically not gonna lie.
Also I can’t see her suddenly wanting to accept StarClan’s gift of lives. Which would need to happen given that Splashtail not accepting lives is currently a huge problem for the cats (as well as the whole evil thing). In warrior cats in order to be seen as a true leader of a clan you have to get lives, and I really don’t think Mothwing would be happy doing that.
Also it’s kind of yikes considering one of the biggest themes surrounding her character was to teach tolerance of different beliefs. The message mothstar is sending by forcing her to convert to a religion she doesn’t want to convert to to save her clan… is not a good one.
I feel like a lot of people forget that mothwing is also really old she can’t have been less than 6 months to a year younger than Bramblestar and both he and tawnyoelt are in the elders den. If Mothwing was made leader she’d be massively outliving her barely older half siblings within the next arc .

I think the river in Bee’s dream represents a decision: a decision of whether to stay where he is or join RiverClan. It stings his paws because it’s a tough choice, and to walk across the river to the bank is painful. But I think the cats he sees are RiverClan’s ancestors, waiting for him to cross to their side of the bank, only if he can bear the pain of such a decision and cross this river to join them (aka leaving behind everything he’s ever known and loved). If he’s walking in the middle of the river then it’s just simply a choice of which bank to go to, the one filled with strangers or the one without (the safe option he knows). I think this dream is RiverClan’s ancestors inviting him to join the clan.
he's established to be walking along the river, so there's nowhere really that it implies he's choosing to do anything or changing what he was up to-- he was already on or next to the river, walking down it. No choices implied at all, essentially.
@@Moonkitti a river won’t stay frozen forever though, sooner or later he’s got to get off and pick a side if he was on the river. If he wasn’t on the river then he still has a choice to satisfy his curiousity and cross the river to be with the other cats despite the pain that comes with it, or continue on the bank he’s on and never see what it is these strangers want. That’s just my personal interpretation anyway. Warrior cats dreams are never really very upfront with their meanings. I still don’t fully understand the prophecy in avos about clearing the sky. I am probably entirely wrong but that’s just the meaning to this dream that makes the most sense to me personally. I just don’t think they would give Bee a descriptive and seemingly special dream like that if it won’t come back at some point.
Honestly I interpreted Bee’s dream more literally. He dreams that he is home, but strange cats are watching him curiously. Those cats are likely RiverClan’s ancestors, keeping an eye on the park cats. They appear in his dreams because he could have been a medicine cat - he has the talent and connection. But the StarClan cats don’t speak to him because there’s no reason too.
On the topic of Icewing not being a likely candidate for the next leader because she already was made regent and then stepped down- I wanted to point out that Tigerstar was the one who appointed her after Shadowclan began forcibly occupying Riverclan’s camp. I think no matter who had been appointed at that time or how good at leading they were, riverclan would have opposed it because it wasn’t their decision, and the cat in that role would have had to step down regardless. But now that some time has passed, I think that Icewing is actually a more likely pick as next leader, given that she has some experience in being in charge, through some very stressful times even. The writers have established her as being capable of handling a leadership position, and I think any negative opinions about her expressed in the past by disgruntled riverclan cats could be chalked up to them not being happy that Tigerstar put her in charge (and they would have had issues with whoever he had picked).
Wasp could come back as a mediator. That’s the kind of role Riverstar would want in his clan I feel. Maybe whoever leads RiverClan next could ask it to be part of the warrior code that every clan has a mediator or something.
A bit of a theory. If the clans move territories, the park could be where they are. Bee could show them the territories, the frozen River could represent him once again, guiding FrostPaw (who would probably get her full name now, which i suspect, due to her connection to RiverStar & Riverclan as a whole, could be FrostRiver.) And the unfamiliar cats are those from the clans. Maybe the old TNP group or the clans. They don't attack because they don't know the territories, the cold paws could be Bee being reluctant to accept all of the clans, and the stinging paws could be the fact that the Park cats would disolve into the clans, and it hurts Bee to have the group fade away.
I really really like this idea and someone should make an au of it for sure! Unfortunately I don’t have high hopes that the writers would be that intricate in their story lines, as there is often a bunch of different unexplored potentially interesting plots and character developments that went completely ignored after the next book. I’d hate to see bee’s visions written off like that tho, as they did make a point to have a main character acknowledge it a couple of times in an ominous matter.
I still don’t think that Mothwing should become leader. Her entire character arc was about being a medicine cat despite having no connection. The only other character that has shown any leadership qualities was Icewing (technically others that can’t count though). Also, in wind they killed Harelight (perhaps on purpose to prevent Frostpaw from choosing him), instead favouring Icewing. Who’s also apart of the rebel group? Icewing, Mothwing, and Duskfur. Honestly I seriously don't know who will be Riverclan's leader. Or even deputy for that matter. Icewing wants to retire, Mothwing probably doesn't even wanna be leader, Frostpaw is like a year old and inexperienced, Duskfur is also elder age, Minnowtail is irrelevant. ERINS.
I kind of like the idea that riverclan thinking that those with only the training of a warrior are not fit to lead riverclan by the end but that would never happen
If I had to pick between the two bee theories I would pick the medicine cat route, I don’t think frostpaw would be come leader though, mothering seems like a strong choice but I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
I'm really not sure about either Bee or Wasp becoming medicine cat/leader mostly because of hostility the clan cats have for cats outside of clans. Bee and Wasp might believe that Riverstar once existed and they follows his footsteps but that doesn't mean they believes in StarClan. Moreover, Clan cats hate outsiders. We saw it with the Sisters and Mothwing herself couldn't become a medicine cat apprentice because she was a loner once. So I can't imagine broken and devastated RiverClan welcoming Bee or Wasp with open arms and putting one of them in position of power.
I think whatever is happening Riverstar wants RiverClan to go back to its founding principles, and that would include welcoming an outsider like wasp. In Riverstar’s Home Riverstar’s journey is about him embracing being an outsider and being different rather than conform to the clans. So someone like Bee joining would be taking RiverClan back to its roots. Also I think they would accept him if there was some kind of StarClan sign. Just have him successfully predict the gathering tree getting struck by lightning or something and no one would ever question him again
@@spectacularslowpoke6018 I think Bee or Wasp joining Riverclan would be great and maybe it will happen in future, who knows. But maybe not now, and they will for sure not be in any position of power (medicine cat/leader). If that was the case, Forstpaw would convince one/both of them to return with her to the clans. But that didn't happen. She was glad that Waffle and Wasp decided to join but she didn't pay attention to that. So she knows that the future leader is in Riverclan, she just needs to get rid of Splashtail.
I see Beestar as a possibility because of their personality, dreams (like they're going somewhere or destined for something), relationship to the other cats, and because Frostpaw specifically talks about needing someone new or different as leader (don't remember the exact words but I'm sure I remember her saying or thinking something like that). I would not be surprised if Bee showed up with Wasp next book talking about the dreams. It could be a massive clue or a complete red herring. Idk why else they'd include the dream.
I love watching moonkitti videos as a retired warrior cat fan who hasn’t read the books since the second series - everything I know is because of moonkitti at this point 😭
When I read Thunder, I really thought Rook was going to become leader. She was always written in the same sort of way as a Clan leader, responsible, kind, certainly capable of leadership. She's one of my favourite characters overall :)
Day 3 of asking; can you do a video of how rainflower went to starclan and frecklewish didn’t? Do you wish freckle wish went to the STC or do you like her current place? What about rainflower? What would you change about the characters?
This is a wild guess, but if every aspect of Bee’s dream is to be taken seriously, I do believe the frozen river represents Frostpaw, and him walking alongside it represents his mentoring of her. When it says that the cold hurts his paws, I think that is an omen that Bee’s destined to die if he continues to mentor her, that his relationship with his friend will kill him. I want to think if that’s the case, his death will be the result of him protecting her from Splashtail in a heroic sacrifice. The cats watching curiously across the frozen river, I think is Starclan watching this stranger with no correlation to the clans having such a spiritual connection, and that he is way more important than any living cat is aware of. Frozen river= Frostpaw Stinging paws while walking on river= if he continues to associate with her, he is doomed to die while guiding her Curious cats= Starclan It’ll probably not happen the way I’m imagining it, but it’s still a neat concept!
whyyyy cant the riverclan leader just be an existing river clan cat (not mothwing) cause it would be way more interesting for a nobody to get a cool character arc the way ash fur did
Since Moonpaw’s parents were confirmed to not be Nightheart and Sunbeam, I think Nightheart becomes RiverClan’s new leader with Sunbeam as the deputy. :P
Frostpaw dreams of RiverClan being open to outsiders, but not a doormat. The frosted-over river signifies a bridge to RiverClan, but one that's strong and can defend itself in case the hypothetical cat crossing is our next arc villain. The cats in Bee's dream should then represent RiverClan, who is now curious to outsiders and not immediately hostile. I personally think the vision is just foreshadowing that Froststar will take over the Clan and shape it into the Clan she wants it to be, of which she has a strangely very firm opinion about in Thunder... but that's just me.

This is really true! There is very little chance of Wasp becoming the next leader of RiverClan. I would rather it be Icewing or someone else, even though that would be bad writing as you said. Another great video!
I def think Mothstar tops it as the worst timeline. Complete and total character assassinate and proving the new team is completely fine with ignoring the previous books arcs
I believe bee may have a similar role to the one Ravenpaw had in the next ark, he welcomes them, gives directions and lets them hunt, ice hurts him, perhaps alluding that the clans can’t stay due to the fact this area isn’t fit for an additional 200ish cats, he’s not killed as he still has twoleg food but it’ll still negatively affect him.
She also made it very clear that she doesnt want to be leader. She pretty much hated it. I feel like a lot of people just want her as a leader simply because she doesnt like Starclan and they like the concept of an "Atheist" leader. But Mothwing clearly wants to be a medicine cat and I dont like the idea of her being forced into another position of power that she doesnt want

@@kaykinz2549 Yeah it's a stretch, but RiverClan has barely any cats. They are the smallest Clan currently and will only get smaller after the battle (predictably). That's why I thought of Monkeystar and her little Clan, considering they live on the old RiverClan territory.
Of COURSE the new leader of RiverClan is going to be Shrewpaw!
ERINS.
hello moonkitti nation
hello koridoko
Helo! WHOS BEEN WATCING SINCE THEY WERE 9? (ME)
hiii
hi
heya
Guys, the new leader is going to be Ashfur. It’s obvious
Yes, good, my favorite podcast continues
I'm feeling really generous today I don't know why but I am feeling generous
I'm so lost bc I kinda fell out of this Fandom but love your vids I literally grew up on them, watching this brought back so many memories ❤
The Goofus and Gallant bit is possibly my favorite Moonkitti bit ever
Firestar does not approve of Wafflepaw
OMG ITS FULL CIRCLE
I kind of like the idea that riverclan thinking that those with only the training of a warrior are not fit to lead riverclan by the end but that would never happen
If I had to pick between the two bee theories I would pick the medicine cat route, I don’t think frostpaw would be come leader though, mothering seems like a strong choice but I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️
i love wasps little wasp shaped tail. top tier character design.
1:47 bee knows, as in beenose, the dead shadowclan cat who will become the leader of riverclan????
I didn't realize Bee was just as young, if not younger, than Frostpaw.
It will either be frostpaw or bee who steps up to lead i think
Day 1 of asking for a talking Dark’Tail. Moonkitti let this happen
honestly I have no idea what this is about but the cat drawings are extremely cute so I appreciate this
I see Beestar as a possibility because of their personality, dreams (like they're going somewhere or destined for something), relationship to the other cats, and because Frostpaw specifically talks about needing someone new or different as leader (don't remember the exact words but I'm sure I remember her saying or thinking something like that).
MOONKITTIIIIIII I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, THERE SO FUNNY AND SILLY
When I read Thunder, I really thought Rook was going to become leader. She was always written in the same sort of way as a Clan leader, responsible, kind, certainly capable of leadership. She's one of my favourite characters overall :)
Day 3 of asking; can you do a video of how rainflower went to starclan and frecklewish didn’t? Do you wish freckle wish went to the STC or do you like her current place? What about rainflower? What would you change about the characters?
"11 Seconds ago, wow" anyways, I really love your videos :D
Frozen river= Frostpaw
Stinging paws while walking on river= if he continues to associate with her, he is doomed to die while guiding her
Curious cats= Starclan
It’ll probably not happen the way I’m imagining it, but it’s still a neat concept!
yay another video to add to my moonkitti talking playlist
I really need to start reading these books again. I've totally lost the plot.
whyyyy cant the riverclan leader just be an existing river clan cat (not mothwing) cause it would be way more interesting for a nobody to get a cool character arc the way ash fur did
If we get to have Mothstar and Squirrelstar I will weep tears of joy
Love the Goofus & Gallant reference
Yooo moonkitti uploaded its gonna be a good day
Day 1 of requesting an “I spoil Bluestar’s prophecy” video
She didn’t like the book much and mentioned it’ll be one of the last
moon is saving the prequels for last! probably won’t see it for a while unfortunately
Oh I must’ve missed the video where she said that my bad
Since Moonpaw’s parents were confirmed to not be Nightheart and Sunbeam, I think Nightheart becomes RiverClan’s new leader with Sunbeam as the deputy. :P
I love that I haven’t read Wind yet and already know absolutely nothing happens
Saturdays are the best cuz moonkitti posts
Im a big fan!
Can you do a talking video about Dustpelt or Cinderheart? No problem if not
Frostpaw dreams of RiverClan being open to outsiders, but not a doormat.
Bees…
Petition to make Moonkitti the audio book reader in the next super edition
And everyone in this comment section med cats cus they are interpreting a starclan dream
You know what would be a twist? If One-Eye’s ghost returned!
Can you please think about doing a thing on One-Eye from Dawn of the Clans?
Also I think Minnowtail will be leader because they introduced her the way they did for a reason.
This is really true! There is very little chance of Wasp becoming the next leader of RiverClan. I would rather it be Icewing or someone else, even though that would be bad writing as you said.
Another great video!
mothwing doesn't want to be leader, she doesn't trust starclan. butchering her character for the sake of fan service seems SO stupid..
If we get either Waspstar or Beestar, that'll prove that we live in the worst timeline.
I def think Mothstar tops it as the worst timeline. Complete and total character assassinate and proving the new team is completely fine with ignoring the previous books arcs
@@BroKenYaKnow Why? How is it a character assassination?
im reentering warrior cats fandom after two years and I'm so confused rn
I love bee
He's just so silly!!
I thought this was a second part to the bee video. This is fine though
Wow bees
I believe bee may have a similar role to the one Ravenpaw had in the next ark, he welcomes them, gives directions and lets them hunt, ice hurts him, perhaps alluding that the clans can’t stay due to the fact this area isn’t fit for an additional 200ish cats, he’s not killed as he still has twoleg food but it’ll still negatively affect him.
I don't really like mothwing as leader (she was mean to shadowsight and is ancient)
I have an idea for who should be the new leader of RiverClan.
Nightheart!
Imagine if this is video 1 of asking for a Nightheart video.
Frostpaw will become leader, and Bristlefrost will come back from the deadline of death to give her all of her 9 lives at once. Then die again in Routesprings arms as the kits they should’ve had kits dance around them. Obviously!🙄
OMGGGGGGGGG I LOVE MOONKITTI
Frostpaw was spayed sooo I'm pretty sure she is going to stay med cat especially since her love interest is evil. Bee or wasp or mothwing or a random side is my bet for leader in that order
I’ve never considered these two but I’m rooting for Beestar, not because it makes sense or because I think Bee would be the right decision, but because my name is also Bee and I want a character with my name to be important for once
Warrior cats writing team predicting how the books are going to go: 0%
Moonkitti predicting how the books are going to go: 100%
Bright Guardian predicting how the books are going to go: -100% (I'm sorry lol)
I think bee could be a new med cat and mothwing could be moth star
The choice here is obvious: Wafflestar.
bee
I was sooo sure that Wasp had run away to RiverClan for the sole purpose of being a foil for Nightheart; Sunbeam has to fight her mom, Nightheart has to fight his friend, they're both screwed! I thought it was a surprisingly clever way to build tension a la arc 1 🤦
What about Stornfur? Can he comeback to River Clan and become lider?
If we don't get 💫Wafflestar💫 I'm abandoning the fandom
A MINUTE AHO? huh im lucky
I think they’ll make Sunbeam or Nightheart as the leader because they both never seem to fit in… I dunno, it’s also based on a gut feelings 😭😭
I mean, they allowed changing clan this arc, leader is obviously not going to come from river clan XD
I have a question for you, Moonkitti, did you voice the crazy-eyed cub in my pride? Feather’s sister?
Waspstar but instead they’re a she-cat and lead shadowclan at some point between DOTC and Mapleshade’s vengeance(but closer to DOTC)
they/them bee happy pride month besties
I'm waiting for Hornet
Sorry for bothering, but I've seen your "Starkit's prophecy" videos, and I was wondering, what app do you use to animate?
I just realized Harelight could never be leader unless the series insta killed Harestar
I think Wasp should have been murdered in front of Thunderclan to get Splashstar's point across. Imagine the drama.
Hi moonkitti
