In the audio books, the narrator gives Harestar a fun voice, he speaks very quick and short (like hops!) and like he's trying to sound authoritative about every word he says. Which i like, cause it makes me imagine he's trying very hard to be taken seriously. he doesn't have a STRONG voice, but like he's making the effort

Honestly, the narrator on audible puts on some of the best voice acting for characters, and I’m living for it

On the topic of Windclan cats, I honestly would like to see a discussion about Heathertail. I just think it might be refreshing to finally talk about her, as she’s barely even mentioned in the books aside from the treatment that all background characters in other clans get, and I really think that her Lionpaw/Breezepelt romance thing is worth being touched on again, as well as her own father Onestar never acknowledging her existence on camera.
Yeah I think of Heathertail and I never forget that Onestar is her father yet- he doesn't really act like it? I mean he's obviously a moron, but it would be interesting to dive deep into that topic.
Oh my gosh ok, hear me out. I always wondered how she felt after hearing that her father had Darktail with another she-cat and she never know. I mean yeah, timelinewise I believe Darktail is older than her (could be wrong) but imagine your dad never noticing you for your entire life and then finding out he had another family and ignored that one too. She must’ve been so confused.

@@Casserole04 Yup. Being half-brothers with one of the biggest threats to the forest had to be something she went through. And also her father being neglectful to both of them had to cause something within her. Someone should make a map of Heathertail's point of view in all this.

I actually really like the idea of Heather and hare being onestars children. He is absolutely the type to choose his own children even when unqualified and it paints a picture of hare being in a power dynamic that he can't control. Ngl kinda salty heathertail wasn't chosen, I think jt would be cute to tie her role-play in the tunnels as heatherstar to ambitions she has and eventually rising to.

Harestar is such a precious baby... I love his and Crowfeather's growing bond, he's so reluctant to exile him despite how scared he is. As much as Crowfeather being his deputy scares me I love their leader-deputy dynamic of terrified baby backed up by grumpy old man. Please just picture Harestar trying to explain his idea at a gathering with Crowfeather glaring at everyone from over his shoulder.

I think Duspelt would be super interesting to cover. He's shockingly developed for a background character. From a schoolyard bully to a hardworking warrior who builds things.

id love to see dustpelt and ferncloud as a sort of two in one video considered how intertwined they end up being. i didnt like ferncloud but dustpelts reaction when he learned she died in tlh geniunely made me cry 😭

As a side note, I think it's very interesting that Harestar never actually exiles Crowfeather! He's so torn Crowfeather makes the decision for him. He starts off the conversation saying he could never do it but the other leaders and cats from his own clan beat him down and terrify him (side side note it kinda fits in with the windclan thinks they're closer to starclan thing they never touch on that he in particular is so desperate for starclan?) until crowfeather has enough and leaves for him to stop them. Later on Mistystar and Mothwing have a very big scene of her being accepted back publicly but Crowfeather is already back at Harestar's side comforting him the second he comes back to life "as though there had never been harsh words or exile between them". Not only is their bond cute but I think it shows how much Harestar didn't really want to punish anyone, especially Crowfeather whom he relies on and respects, and only did it because he has a weak backbone and was desperate.
Awww that is cute. And it totally fits with his character.

I agree. I think tree is very interesting. He uses is power of words for good, not evil. Unlike sol. Rootspring is cool too 😊

I’d love it if you could talk about long tail! He’s so interesting. He’s one of the only background character who gets a full character arc! Plus the suffering h want trough was a lot. even with his relationship with TigerStar, he chooses to be good. He losses his apprentice and his bother swift paw. I imagine that their close enough that longtail wouldn’t let go of the body when it was time to bury him. His relationships with mouse fur and swiftpaw aren’t explored enough in the books. Plus it’s only of the few relationships we get where a Tom and a she-cat really are just friends.
I think Longtail is interesting too! It's really sad though, he became blind and the authors just put him in the elders den.
@@audge-audge honestly i hate how the authors deal w disabled characters, they either die for dramatic effect like snowkit (which has its own problems of playing the 'bury your disabled' trope with no nuance) or the narrative acts like being disabled stops them from doing anything???

What happened to Sol? Can you talk about what could possibly be next for him and if he might return in the future? Did he just hecking give up on destroying the clans? What would happen if he came back and interacted with SkyClan? What if he met some leftover members of the Kin?
I really want to hear you talk about Briarlight because she's like the only major disabled character besides Brightheart that I find interesting since Vicky said she was kept alive because of her own cousin was paralyzed and I think that's neat.
can you talk about Lilyheart? I find her story really interesting and the best mom to twigbranch (and violetshine??) and is really underrated and deserves more attention!

I think a video for Sandstorm would be really interesting, seeing as she lived for so long and has gone through a lot. She really grew a lot from being that spiteful, fiery apprentice who disliked Firepaw to a respected and still fiery warrior who stands by her mate and had children who are very important to the story. I'd love to hear your thoughts on her!

Could you talk about Daisy, please? She's my favorite warrior cat and has one of my favorite character arcs, going from simply trying to save the lives her kittens to actually caring about her clanmates, becoming something of a mother to every young cat in ThunderClan, and remaining strong despite the multiple tragedies that befall her (four of her children, her ex-mate, her sister are dead). Not to mention how she seems to have several female friends, which is honestly a rarity for female warrior cats characters (Brightheart, Ferncloud, and Coriander come to mind).
I would really like to hear your thoughts about the BreezeXHeather kits: Smokehaze, Brindlewing, Appleshine and Woodsong I just love these 4 sisters and the few times that they have been mentioned they seem kinda interesting

Can you talk about Littlecloud next? There’s probably nothing super interesting about him, but I’ve just always liked him. I think it’s interesting how Cinderpelt cured him and how he died without taking another apprentice. I’d like to see your view on him.
Thinking about clan cats, I feel as if a character who everyone just labels "evil and edgy" just has nothing else about them in the eyes of the reader. Hollyleaf is a great example. We didn't get to see too much into her head and we really had a very small idea about what she did in the tunnels or her reasoning for, well, everything. I feel as if she needs to be talked about as someone who isn't edgy but from scratch to the very moment we started labeling her edgy. Just an opinion and Heathertail also should be talked about yes
I really hope they stick to the personality Harestar has, the next arc doesn't feel like it would have any focus on Windclan (at least not currently, maybe in the future with a Windclan POV), but turning him into any sort of evil force might be...odd. Unless its framed as being his attempts to stand up and establish himself as a serious leader (like onestar).
I would love a Video about Dawnpelt and the death of her brother. I feel like a lot is missed in that plot point.

@@ladyolinden I never thought of that! Someone needs to make an AU where Flametail doesn't die, so Dawnpelt is happier leading her to be a better parent, leading Sleekwhisker to not join Darktail, and her siblings to not join Darktail.
I really like Harestar. I don't even know why. He's actually one my favorite leaders and he is 100% my fav leader currently. Not that it says a lot, the choices are literally Bramblestar, Mistystar, Tigerstar and I guess Leafstar. All those choices suck. Anyway I live Harestar and I'll be sad if he really is just fodder for when Crowfeather becomes leader. I do really like him and I hope he doesn't become another Onestar. PLEASE DON'T LET HIM BECOME ONESTAR!
Would love to see your thoughts on Flametail! He’s in a weird spot in the fandom where I feel like a lot of people read him as something he’s not. Readings on this dude vary so much, which is odd for someone who was a POV character

I think he was a really sweet and nice guy, but he also was horribly underused.
Similar to Crookedstar, he didn't have a pretty face and maybe they could have bonded over that.
Like Piketooth telling Crookedstar that you didn't have to look perfect.
I also think his relationship with Shimmerpelt was really sweet.
I’d like to see a video about dovewing and maybe how she was a good character but a victim of bad writing in omen of the stars at least in my opinion

I would LOVE a video on the background siblings Dappletuft, Harelight, Softpelt, and Gorseclaw. You know, those siblings from RiverClan in TBC? You probably don't, but I think the family dynamic would be a very interesting topic that I wish the authors explored more. I mean, Dapple and Hare were against Brashstar while Soft and Gorse sided with him, and Dapple and Soft both died plus Hare was exiled. Gorseclaw is the only sibling actually left in RiverClan with his parents. It's a chaotic family that was brutally torn apart but has extremely little attention.
Also Dappletuft has a cute name, just saying.
What about those “dead / fake siblings” in warrior cats? Like Downkit, Cherrypaw and others. Like why are they there? Can we use them for anything?

Can you talk about graywing, turtletail or tom? The dawn of the clans was my favorite arc and these are some of my favorite characters from it.

Bluestar should never have been leader I realized after reading her super edition. I mean it is one thing to go insane as an elderly cat who has lost so much and then was betrayed by someone she thought she could trust…
But reading her development… she never actually seemed leader material really.

@@RainbowUnicarn yeah the only justification I can think of for Fireheart over Whitestorm would’ve been Bluestar’s bias with the prophecy. I’ve often wondered (and made fan fiction regarding) if Bluestar made a mistake in recognizing Rusty as the fire and getting him to Firestar. What if she had the wrong cat all along but she was convinced he was the fire so she pushed him into it and altered the clans forever?
Tho that kinda goes with fan content I am working on and hoping to begin releasing to RUclips in a bit lol
She also may have picked him to avoid nepotism as one of the few cats she still trusted fireheart was the best not nepotistic option
Considering Mistystar is probably gonna die soon, I'd love to see a video on who you think should succeed her. The RiverClan cats have a lot less characterization, I'd love to see what can be gleaned from them. Personally, I see some potential in Brackenpelt, she was held prisoner by Darktail, which may give her an interesting take on things.
Round 2 of asking for Featherwhisker. Come on y’all, can you imagine what it must have been like to have Goosefeather as a mentor and Sunstar as a brother? There’s so much potential there!
You mentioned Spotfur last video, I'd love to see a video on just her! I feel like she's accidentally the most compelling character of TBC. She rebels hard, is a common target for Bramblefake, gets her dad exiled for a moon, her mate then dies, both of her littermates leave forever to become housecats, she finds out she's pregnant while on an adventure with the cat she has every reason to not like (Bris), then shows a terrifying-almost suicidal-lack of regard for her life and that of her kits. I feel like she has the strongest background arc we've seen in a long time.
I honestly love it when cats are just bad at fighting and asserting themselves in Warrior Cats. So much of the culture is rooted in BATTLE and FIGHTING and BIG IMPORTANT PROPHECIES!!!!! And when a cat doesn't fit that mold but manages to become important, like, leader-important, regardless, it makes me happy. It feels fresh and interesting. I just wish it were done with more intent because I LIVE for the crumbs of Harestar being a wimp but kind, sharing camaraderie with Tigerheartstar, and being very intimidated by Crowfeather, the older leaders, and adorable baby Hazeltail 😂
Love how these videos help to tie the threads of minor characters together because there's no way I would be able to comb through the books again and notice this stuff - the fans really come in clutch for this series, lol

Could you talk about Nightstar or Sunstar? I personally really like both of them and feel like they never got that much development in the books before they died.
a little bit of a tangent: but i like when young/inexperienced cats that became leader young make senior warriors their deputies! i think it makes a lot of sense for a young cat who just gained nine lives not to be thinking about who would replace them, but rather which cat has the skills and experience to help them manage the clan. it feels more realistic to me; more like "a lot of warriors in the clan are capable of roles with more responsibility and it just comes down to who the leader trusts most" and less like "there was only one obvious choice for deputy that any leader would have picked"/"this person is related to me in some way" as it sometimes feels (especially in thunderclan). it makes it feel like warriors have more experiences and connections, and actively think and have opinions about their clanmates actions, behind-the-scenes and on-screen. i can really only think of one example of this leader/deputy dynamic (firestar/whitestorm) and i wish it happened more often! less nepotism, please, warrior cats!

You could make a video based off of swiftpaw, brightpaw, and cloudtail (as in how you feel about bright and cloud being mates and how you feel about swift x bright, etc)

I'd love to hear about Mousefur! She has been around since before the beginning, and has quite the attitude and opinions. I also like the long-lasting friendship between Mousefur and Longtail as elders.

Hey, Moonkitti! I know I'm a bit late to the video, but I have a suggestion for a 'Talking: ____' video!- This has probably been suggested elsewhere, but- could you please analyze Longtail or Purdy? I feel like both of them are really interesting characters with heavily wasted potential! Longtail has a long life of distrust, working with villians, and trying to better himself, and instead of showing character development due to this, they just kinda... Toss him into the elder's den. And Purdy has a discrete backstory where he apparently knew Sol, someone who *could've* destroyed the clan's religion if he played his cards right. I feel that Purdy could have so much potential but, again, they tossed him aside to be a flea-ridden story-telling elder. It's fine if you don't want to do either of these, but I feel both of them would be super interesting to talk about!
I have always found Yellowfang to be one of the most interesting medicine cats due to how much that she has gone through. Hearing your thoughts on her character would be pretty rad!
I’d kinda like to see one on either A: Willowshine I always thought they were interesting, since for a while they were their clans only starclan trusting med, or B: Heathertail. I think you mentioned her in your “Cats I want books about” video, so I just wanna see your thoughts on her.

whiteclaw is precious and iirc there was that scene with (spoilers for leopardstar's honor) leopardstar and whiteclaw hugging, leopardstar vowing to never leave him or something due to something tragic happening.

I would love to see something about deadfoot,he,s one of my favourites and I think he is really underrated and I think is weird cause I find a lot of people don’t like how disabled cats are treated in the books and him being a deputy and all I would think that a lot of people would talk a about him but I guess not,look all in saying is I love him and I think he need more attention ❤️
I actually love Harestar because I’m the same way he is. I avoid conflict and try to stay out of it. It took me a long time to learn to stand up for myself, and sometimes I still cry when I attempt too. Both me and Harestar are learning

I would love to hear about Cloudtail and Brightheart! We have a stubborn tom who doesn't believe in ancestors he didn't come from, paired with a molly who's survived a dog attack, was able to step up as a substitute medicine cat, and was absolutely robbed of having her own apprentice. Maybe touch on how Brightheart's whole experience recovering was framed through Cloudtail and not really her? She's been through so much but it wasn't really framed in her perspective.
And I want to hear about their kids. Whitetail has strong spiritual roots, and the other three have been written vaguely enough that it's difficult to characterize them, but they have such darling names.
Can you talk about Petalfur, one of the two RiverClan cats who joined Dovepaw to find the beavers in fourth apprentice? I always thought she was interesting, even as a background character
could you do leopardstar? ive always wondered how other people felt about her- shes always been one of my favorite cats!
I used to hate her for what she did but in her perspective the only reason she teams up with Tigerstar is that Riverclan was having major issues like poisoning, starvation, flooding and twolegs she believed it would benefit her clan and didn't intervene Tigerstar killing half-clan cats because she feared him.

in my quest of watching all of your videos as a kind-of new suscriber and wc fan, the _Harestar Goes To Starclan_ one quickly became my favorite, and i rlly love rewatching your videos including him. it made me look up information about him, discuss him and my headcanons with my friends, and they even drew fanart of harestar and rock for me!! (i made an edit of it too :DD) i even have profile pictures and have phone & computer wallpapers of your art.
i'll also say that you're one of my favorite animators, your art is SOOOO cute and i really look up to you (as someone half your age lol)

Could you do soot fur and rain whisker because soot furs death was one of the darkest deaths as both his legs were broken and he bled out his death was overshadowed by cinder pelts
