Great question and sorry about that! If you refresh the video now, you should see the link to the hiking shoes like I was wearing. I’ve hiked many backpacking miles wearing them so far with a heavy pack on and they are holding up very well! It’s hard to find shoes for backpacking nowadays that are comfortable with soles that grip the terrain well and don’t wear out quickly.
I wear my hiking shoes on the trail and suspend these underneath my pack to air dry. I only use these for water crossings but they’d be good for hiking also.
What are your hiking shoes? The link that pops up in the video is for a Marmot tent.

I just purchased these! Do they run big?
I wear a mens 12 in most all hiking and athletic shoes. I wear a mens 12 in these too and they fit great!
What about width? I have wide forefoot
I find these to feel a bit wider than my Danners.
I have the same shoes they’re amazing
They are! I wish that they had nubby soles though. The soles are excellent but nubby would make them better suited for trail hiking too.
Just recently got a pair of these. How are they for hiking? I bought for kayaking in Florida but wonder how’d they do for hiking as well.

What pants are those? Been looking for some hiking pants as of late
I got these on sale at Mountain Hardwear. Mountain Hardwear and Marmot (during a sale) are my two go-to brands for backpacking clothes!
@@IrixGuy thank you sir will take a look
I’ve found that both of them wear and wash well. The fit is great too!
Just got them and they're heavier than my trailrunners
Yeah, they’re built like a tank! Incredible toe protection, for a rugged sandal too!
Apples and oranges, amigo.
