So good. So true. I know I have a pair.❤ And they last forever. The older they get the better they look!!! I have hike a lot in high mountains in Colorodo.
I wear only them, but they last me about 18 months.. it's the heels that give out.. I've had about 8 pairs now and I stick by them... Thanks for your thoughts
I typically wear socks with my sandals. I only wear wool socks (including blends that are majority wool), which are superior in every way. Cold, hot, dry, wet... it doesn't matter. Wool works! I've never liked "waterproof" footwear. They trap moisture inside, which makes them cause the very condition they're meant to prevent. Also, if I have to be careful to avoid water getting in the top, it's a distraction and a worry I'd rather not have.
Thanks PN, Great share, whatever works. We've been 7 years now in Open Sandals (Keens Mostly) We never wear or even carry socks anymore, which I believe makes our feet circulation work naturally. Cold or Hot I never get cold or too hot feet, not sure why but it works for us.. Totally agree about wool.. If you like socks ;o) 🧦
Nothing worse than wet feet when hiking. When I was in the royal artillery we were told priority in keeping your feet dry and your kit. Hope you and Michelle are well.
Are these the sprayaway arran boots? If so what's the sizing like please as I'm currently bootless due to having to send my crap non waterproof salomons back. Also what trousers are they please?
I have to be honest here buddy and say these boots leaked as you'll see in later vids but I suspect it may have been the pair I had? But I can't stand by this actual pair.. I have some other sprayways that are doing fine but I'm not a good advocate.. just yet.
Nah, Socks just make your feet soft, if you wear sandals all the time, you'll never regret it. Even in the wet but it it gets way to wet, like continuous puddles, you have to get into boots.
That's a horrible idea, the idea of sandals is to promote good circulations and therefore warm feet, sock would kill that benefit and make the wearing useless

We are thanks Gordon. True, wet is ok as long as you can dry them out 👍

@@Steve-Owens US troops: Am I joke to you?
In wet weather I combine my Arroyo Sandals with waterproof socks.

Would this be possible in Sweden, with the climate that we have here?
As long as the walk is not in deep water or snow, I don't see why not.
👌👍👌👍👌👍💞❤
Are you a doctor?
why not wear socks in sandals.
