Spring Break is doing things right. I grabbed a Catamaran a few seasons ago and it's freaking amazing. The base material and construction are super solid. After discovering that the surf rocker / surf lite core combo was magic in spring conditions, I rode it almost every day (Tahoe area). The amount of abuse this thing has endured has been vast and it just keeps truckin'. Just ask anyone you see on a Slush Slasher. Great company....

Just picked one up this season. I can honestly say it’s the closest I’ve felt to surfing on snow and I love it. In pow, it feels like you have fins engaging underneath you.

Yea, have this same board in a 154. It's what'd I call a noodle, support soft and surfy. Really fun moving fast through deeps but not a hard pack carver and not for the groomers in your life.

Is the movie Problem Child about you?
I’m looking for a surfy powder board for next year and I really want to try a Spring Break because I’ve heard so many good things. I ride about 30 days a season and maybe get 5 good pow days if I’m lucky. I ride A Basin, Winter Park, Copper and sometimes go to Eldora for a quick mission as I live in Longmont. I can’t decide between the Powder Racer or the Powder Pill. I’m an advanced rider, not expert. 35 years experience. Any suggestions?

You can, but it's so soft so you lose stability.

Ya I'm not big on this season's graphics. I've got the yellow slush slasher from a couple years ago and my buddy got this years with some gay rainbow on it. Mines better.
I like the minimalism. They’re also more impressive in person and on snow.
