Thanks so much for the review.
Just made me very glad about my purchase. Can’t wait to try it out
Thanks and glad it helped.
Think I've found my powder board. Thanks gain for the review!!
Can’t wait for the powder glider review
Great Review, let me be sure, that Ill have the Powder Racers! Thanks a lot!
Many thanks! Also check that new Pow Glider out! It's special too.
Nice review.
Any chance to review the Rossignol Sushi and the Jones Storm Chaser? I like short pow boards. I've got a Terrapin and a split Bean and I love both boards.
The existing Storm Chaser review still stands as they haven't changed it in a long time. thegoodride.com/snowboard-reviews/jones-storm-chaser-2016-2023-snowboard-review/
It's been a while with the Rossi Sushi as well but I'm not sure it's changed enough to merit a new review.

If you like the Terrapin and Split Bean you will probably like the Storm Chaser and Sushi then. Especially the Storm Chaser as it has an exceptionally fast base compared to what you have now. I personally like the Sushi better on groomers than I do in pow but it could work if you don't ride in a lot of low angle pow.
Im about to buy this one or ride Peace Seeker 155 as apowder/carving board! which one should I go for in your opinion? I'm not going superrrrr deep but I want to be prepared for it for one day but also I like to carve, not like crazy. my boot size is 12 I'm 230lbs!
If you aren't going to see super deep pow and it's going to be a carving board 1st then Peace Seeker 155. That being said not sure on either for ya. I'd like to know more about you to help properly so hit me up here if you want to get into more detailed advice. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
How does the powder racer compare to the Capita Navigator? Already have a Mercury and trying to decide between those two. Thanks!
Apples to oranges...sooo different. The Navigator is more directional/better in pow than your Mercury but the Pow racer is such a better pow board than the Navigator. It is much more tapered, set back, and has much more surface area per size. It's not quite the groomer board that the Navigator is but this years model is pretty fun still on groomers. Hit me up here if you want more detailed in depth advice to make sure one of these is right for you. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
You’re crazy I’m 200lbs and have a 2021 154 pow racer and it’s plenty big. Tons of float. I’ve never felt like I was big for it. I really want a comparison between the flat to rocker and camber version. The flat is super soft. Does wheelies like crazy. Little camber seems like it would be good.
What is your boot size and height? Whats the deepest you got it in and what resorts did you ride it?
@@thegoodridesnow 6ft 11 boot. With gear I’m probably 210lbs. I’m in your neck of the woods. Deepest was probably at willamette pass in feet of pow. Last year they were closed Monday Tuesday and the weather multiple times timed up perfect for crazy deep days there on Wednesday’s. Pow racers are pretty wide boards. I don’t think I’d complain having the 157 but never felt like I needed more with the 154. Funny enough when I got it first thing I said was a touch of camber would do this board well.
So you said "in feet of pow". Does that mean 1ft or a few feet? Nick, who helps with reviews is a size 10 boot, 160lbs, 5'8" and rides the 154. That is a great size for him but even he likes the 157 when it's super deep. I think you would really like a bigger size for your specs and hope you try one. It's wide but all that taper makes it very easy to turn. Even with my size 9 boots and that usually isn't the case. Yeah I really like the edition of some camber between the feet so you thought correctly.
@@thegoodridesnow I think a few Wednesdays it was 24 plus. Insane snow. Only possible because they weren’t open those two days. Like I said I’ve never felt like it didn’t float me well. Zero complaints with the 154.
Gotcha. Good you got it in some deep snow. Yeah seems like you are into smaller boards for your specs but I won't call ya crazy ;-) If it works for you go for it. I've ridden the old 154 you have extensively and the 157 in the old and new models extensively. 10 times out of 10 I'll take the 157's. Especially in the low angle often very deep pow I ride.
Can we get a jones freecarver 6000+9000 review?
9000 is coming very soon. Jones didn't have a 6000 for us to review. Hope to get on it this coming season
Very excited!
I use to have a K2 Eldorado which i loved for relaxed ressort cruising, do you think it's close?
Nothing is similar. That was a full camber stiffer board with no taper. This light, poppy, not stiff, very tapered ride thats massively easier in pow.
