I'm one of a great many people who have a deeply scientific curiosity about them, but they have always rejected any medical testing that isn't necessary for their health. They and their parents seem to get a lot of praise for those denials of testing, but it actually makes me kind of mad that they won't consent to any medical studies. They hold within them a wealth of information about human development and neurological function. Plus much more. I get not testing them as kids, but they're educated, professional adults now. I would love to be able to contribute to science and medicine like that, but it's their right to refuse to participate. They could hold information that, uncovered, could lead to medical advancements and ultimately improve or even save the lives of other people. I wonder if they've considered that? 🤔

I really, REALLY wanna know the neuro science behind this. Like their thought processes seem to be very similar, and yet their personalities can be different, and it's incredible. It's unbelievable because I have no idea what it'd be like to be in their shoes... I'm astonished, completely.
Arcade it’s completely amazing, the way they pass each other the words on continuity on a sentence, or when one Is talking the other is making the exact matching facial expressions as if she would be saying the same thing. Truly a case to be studied.

They can also type papers without talking to each other and using both hands (note that each sister has primary control of one hand)
Yeah, it's a bit at odds with current understanding how our bodies work (where our brain receives signals from senses and controls muscles). They are unique. I am thinking, probably their nervous networks are connected together, so somehow their brains got connected as well. They have adapted to work together, so they can sense each other and thoughts of each other. It's like they do have two brains working as together, but each have their own personality, It's really amazing.
Her mother once said in a interview that they'll always reject all studies based on curiosity so to this day there's a lot of unanswered questions on the neuro/physical side of things.
It's a different set of conjoined twins who see through each other's eyes, Tatiana and Krista Hogan who are joined at the head.

There was an older documentary about them, and their doctors commented on that. They were saying that the twins are essentially medical marvels, and objects of serious scientific curiosity, but they’ve always refused non-essential medical tests exactly because they aren’t lab rats, they’re living humans with their own life.

From what I know about conjoined twins, they are literally identical twins who happened to get physically connected together while still inside the womb for whatever reason. There are many variations of conjoined twins, such as what you seen in the video or the more severe cases where people are connected at the heads. If I remember correctly there have been many success cases of less severity of twins being joined at the hip, and surgeons successfully separating them at birth. Those cases went on to live full, and separate individual lives. The Twins in video finishing their sentences is probably just a product of living every moment of every second together.
Its not them getting connected, its the opposite. "To form identical or monozygotic twins, one fertilized egg (ovum) splits and develops into two babies with exactly the same genetic information." Conjoined twins happen when this split doesn't finish.
You mean they stay physically connected instead of separating as they're supposed to. I am an identical twin so I find this horrific. As much as I love my sister, I can't imagine being physically stuck to her for life.

I am an identical twin (not conjoined) and found this clip fascinating. My brother and I fought all the time when we were young and am amazed how well they get along.
I think it's really scary that although they both seem to have a brain of their own, they sometimes share a mind and say the same thing at the same time. Creepy.

I had a twin brother who passed away 10 years ago now and I'm right-handed and he was left-handed and we pretty much thought the same we had so many things in common it was actually scary but that's out twins operate these girls are fantastic, I've been following him since the first time they posted themselves or their parents on television on RUclips God bless you girls and your parents thank you very much

Something I've noticed watching videos of these two is how often they speak together. Two voices saying the same thing at the same time, or one starting a sentence and letting the other finish it. In an odd kind of way it's really beautiful. They share literally everything, of course they've grown familiar enough with one another to work as one unified person. It's so neat to me.

Another melancholic day of mine, when I feel very grateful for having a full body, breathing and alive, and also sad to know people like them who were born not that lucky as me. Conditions like that are interestingly both can make us feel grateful and happy but at the same time very sad and pity. The dual nature of life.

Based on what they said about their stomachs, it sounds like if one ate the wrong thing, the OTHER one would get a stomach ache or throw up.

I've known two sets of identical twins who were not conjoined. One pair were sisters who looked identical and spoke almost always simultaneously, even more often than Abby and Brittany. The other pair were brothers, one was a quarter-inch taller than the other, 6'11 and 3/4" while the other was 6' 11 and 1/2". And they were also different in that one was always smiling and cheerful and the other much more subdued and sullen in comparison. We all worked together as chefs and it was uncanny how one would prepare a dish and not looking, hand it to his brother, who also had his eyes elsewhere, would take the plate and finish preparing the dish. It was uncanny to watch them working together. Identical twins have something that so many other people envy and that is someone who almost always knows exactly how you feel.
These girls have tremendous courage. It is quite inspiring actually. I wish them all the happiness they can possibly receive in their life.
I absolutely love Abby and Brittany! They’re such amazing conjoined twins! I think they’re so very cute, pretty, sweet, kind, caring, and they’re so full of love and friendship! They always make me laugh because of how funny they are! I’d absolutely die with excitement if I were to meet these girls live in person! Reminds me of my question... If having sex with one of them while she's saying yes but the other one is saying no get off of me is this now rape case? And if one of them commits a crime how do you stop the innocent one from being locked up?
