- After their graduation and European excursion, Abby and Brittany pack up and prepare to move, they're also enjoying the last carefree moments of summer.
When a friend visits from England, the girls host a cookout to introduce him to their friends. The girls play in a competitive boys vs girls volleyball game where they absolutely trounce the competition with their impressive athletic skills. Then Abby & Brittany, who are always up for a challenge, give wakeboarding a go. Will they sink or swim?

Their level of synchronization is cosmic. The left hand knows what the right hand wants to do. They play with their fingers while talking. However, the hand picks up the figure and the other knows that it must assist and not take something else.
Something I noticed as well.. they also move their hands in unison as they talk, like a person would do. Clasping hands together and just making hand movements. Their brains definitely work together as one
I love how they finish each other sentences or say the exact same sentence at the exact same time.

It is fantastic. They have seemed to have melded minds in a way. Which is really, really cool to see. They speak as if almost in an echo.

@@Mala-29 They have two separate pairs of lungs, but they're slightly fused together so I'm guessing that they can feel when the other is about to pause (ummm, hmmm, uhhh, etc) while speaking.
You ladies are the best!!! I'm in my mid 40's and I can't tell you how much better our world would be if you both were "the norm".... Abby and Britt you are both so inspiring, conjoined or not. 🧡🧡🧡🧡
They could be the best tour guide. Never take their eyes off the road while simultaneously telling you all about your surroundings. Could also probably duet any song perfectly.
I've been following A&B for years. Absolutely amazing to see them having fun & thriving.
I’ve never seen this in person, so if I ever met them I’m sure I would stare until it became for lack of better words normalized in my mind. It’s been cool to see these ladies flourish through the years, hope to see more in the coming years😂
Most of us have watched them grow up from little girls to amazing young women. They are definitely inspiring and a example of you can do anything if you put your mind to it

Their volleyball coordination is wild. Then again, they've been like this since birth and have never known anything different, I'm pretty sure the idea of controlling both arms and legs is just as unimaginable for the two of them 😂

It’s 2024 and I’ve never heard of these two ladies til a few days ago. I’ve watched a few videos and amazed how put together they are. Far better than myself and most people I know. This is all they know and it seems to have never held them back. Not going to lie if I saw them in public I would definitely do a double take. I’m sure their lives are on display wherever they are it’s just human nature if you put yourself out there people are going to look and talk and gawk. No hiding for these two! They’re two shining stars!✨

They have to make their bodies walk together as one, drive together, play volleyball etc so they need to be in sync. Lucky they are happy with a somewhat combined identity. Compare against Lori and George Schappell, who have strongly separate identities.
They don't actually share thoughts. They have separate brains w separate trains of thought. People are confusing their ability to be in sync as them reading each other's minds.
I love their happiness and charisma

I was born with Cerebral palsy and my parents had the mindset of because you have this you can’t do or be anything, let alone be independent I love my parents but I wish they would have pushed me more to do things for myself but I’m thankful to them and I owe them everything.
But look how strong they are together. Life's not easy for anybody, I grew up with polio, and I hardly had any friends. I could count on one hand because kids are Cruel. I'm glad they grew up in a small town with people that knew them or their lives would be totally different. they have bad times I'm sure. I think they're awesome.
Could've been alot worse being from a small town. They're life isnt great, BECAUSE they're from a small town, but because they were born to upper middle class parents who were involved in the community. They didnt hide them away, they brought them out early to be introduced to the community and were accepted bc of their family. Now, if they'd been born to a very poor family or an uneducated family, their life would be so much different. The way parents raise kids and keep them involved is what made the difference for them

I always wonder if either one has neck pains from being scrunched close together? Are there bodily pains or illness that both feel, such as indigestion, nausea, itching, or menstrual discomfort?
Do spicy foods affect the mouths individually but both as it enters the digestive system?
Do they both have colds or other congestive illness together or can they have them separately? Do they sing in two part harmony?
It’s tough to be inquisitive without being personal in such a unique situation. After all, we are being asked to treat it as normal…when it absolutely is not. We are naturally perplexed at the physics and medical results of the nervous system and doctors diagnostic intersections.
Brittany gets sick more often. She has had colds and pneumonia a few times when Abby stayed well. She has to stay in bed bored while her sister rests. One is sensitive to caffeine and the other is not. They have their own lungs, their own hearts and their own stomachs. They can only feel things on their side of their bodies. If you were to touch Abby's arm, Brittany would not feel it. Watch their 1st documentary on RUclips Joined For Life, by Discovery channel.
I can't help but feel that as a Canadian I could be both of your much older soul sister... Minnesota and Canada are so similar! So happy you had a great time!

These young ladies are so sweet! My mom was a twin and they both shared their thoughts. They weren't identical but very close. I think the Dr made a mistake cuz they looked like identical twins! When I was little I ran to my aunt(her twin) thinking she was my mom. Your parents did an EXCELLENT job raising you both allowing you both to be so independent! Abby and Britney, you are both such an inspiration.

Can’t imagine what married life would be like if I were the quiet one of the two. I pray Brittany finds love. I know she’s happy and thriving and loves her sister, but my heart does go out to her. She’s her own person. I can’t forget that.

I have so much respect and admiration for these beautiful young ladies….like many, I’ve watched their story from day one, but to see just how much the have accomplished, not giving a damn what the naysayers think, it just remarkable to me, because life and society can be pretty lousy sometimes. They have the most uplifting, admirable qualities I’ve ever seen, and while I’ve never met them personally, I just know that no what life throws at them, they’ll overcome it and set the example for the rest of us who spend fat too much time feeling sorry for ourselves. They’d have ever right to be angry and bitter with/at the world for the way the media has hounded them constantly (bravo job to her folks on keeping them safe and levelheaded), but they refuse to let it bother them in any way whatsoever, how many of us can truly say that? Ladies, as a gay man I can say this with all sincerity…you have my eternal love, admiration, and respect, ALWASY! It’s unlikely, but I pray one day I have the honour of meeting you both in person, so if ever you head north of the border and want to tackle a real challenge?…..I’ll take you both to one like no other on earth…The Edge Walk (google it) where they attach a safety harness to you, and you walk around the main pod of the CN tower, actually, you walk on top of it, outside, on a see through metal platform over 1300 about the ground….I dare you! I’ll give you a personally guided tour of Toronto! All the best ladies, and many thanks for sharing your life with us all, to remind us of what’s truly important!

I started watching them in curiousity. Now I watch the ladies because they make me laugh. Funny Girls. The young ladies have fun & are very Confident & Adventureous & smarter than most people I know & why shouldn't they be. Wonderful. Is it me or does the twin on the right side dominate more? Forgive me, I forget which is Abbey and which is Brittany. She seems to lead more as she has a more upright appearance than the other twin, who is shorter and seems to be more "off to the side" (I don't want to sound rude or disrespectful in my choice of words).
Yes abbey is dominant and leads all sentences and questions. Brittney is kind of hanging off to the left. Yes Yes they have neck and back pain
100%. I don't mean for this to sound rude, but for a while I thought the one on the left (their left) had some kind of mental problem or something... just because I had never heard her talk and the other one seems so much more assertive.. I mean part of that is just my own bias, not because she is actually acting weird, some people are just quiet, but I just assumed because a lot of times people with rare abnormalities often have mental retardation as well.
But yeah, they are so different to me. I see all these comments about how similar they are... and true, they are definitely in synch and finish sentences and stuff like that.. But personality-wise they seem so different. The one on their right is more dominant, I agree; outgoing, happy-go-lucky, smiley. The one on their left seems more introverted, serious
In fact they seem like they are complete opposites. Besides the behaviors they share, their affect is completely opposite one another it makes me wonder if there is any biological reason for that related to them being twins because they aren't just different... they are like complete and utter opposites in how they present

I would bet they’ve had offers! They have said they want some time to live more private lives, although they’re impossible not to recognize. I agree they could be famous if they wanted to. They are inherently interesting to watch, and both full of personality.

I mean… for people commenting about them speaking/saying the same thing at the same time… me and my Mom and Sister do the exact same thing and we’re not anywhere near as connected as these two girls!
They’ve had the exact same life experiences and yes, they have differences, absolutely!!! But there’s something to say for nature over nurture when it comes to physical attributes!! It’s literally ingrained in us, I’m sure of it. That’s why it’s hard to tell who I’m speaking to on the phone between my mom and my sister (and me) because we all sound the same! Duh!!! We have the same anatomy (nature) and upbringing/life experiences (nurture). So of course we sound super super similar!!

When they were born into a very poor family, it would be much more difficult to develop themselves. They are lovely and intelligent girls. I wish them all the best for their future.

I know they didn’t explain why they coached their last two years of high school rather than played on the team, but I suspected something to do with the state’s rules and not having any written guidance on conjoined twins - would they count as 2 players on the court or 1, etc. But after thinking through that, I couldn’t help but think this: so, it’s okay for biological men who identify as women to play on an advanced level team with other girls but not conjoined twins???? I hope one day Abby and Brittney talk more about that experience and what was behind it.
