- With graduation fast approaching, Abby & Brittany take advantage of one last precious weekend to hit the road with their girlfriends. Along with roommate Katy and friends Erin and Kirsten, the girls road-trip to Chicago for a jam packed weekend.
Over the weekend they explore new things around the Windy City, roam around on segways, gorge on deep-dish pizza, and view Chicago from the infamous Skydeck, located 103 stories high and overlooking the beautiful city.

These girls are amazing. Their parents deserve so much credit for raising them to be happy, well-adjusted young women. I’m in awe of Abby & Brittany.
I totally agree. They are definitely energetic, fun-loving, free spirited young ladies out enjoying life. Those are their natural personalities, but their parents have a lot to do with how comfortable and confident they are.

No abbey talks. Abbey leads. Brittney does not get treated like an individual. Brittney only syncs her thoughts and speech from abbey s lead. I'd request to have an individual conversation ith Brittney only since she is never in the lead
Yes Abby definitely leads during social situations and interviews - long ago they acknowledged that Brit is more quiet and reserved. When she adds something or interjects, it may appear to be ignored by Abby because she doesn't stop and acknowledge her sister - I think because she doesn't need to, whatever the reason might be.
There are also plenty of clips from different types of situations where Brit is talking, leading, and participating as much or more.
Remember, as of this little series they've had 22 literally uninterrupted years inhabiting the same body, and have almost definitely figured out together how to share that space and energy in a way that's fair to them both. What we get to see is such a very small portion of their entire experience, and it's what they've chosen to show us.
With all that said, everything I've just written could also be incorrect assumptions, projection, and wishful thinking. You could be absolutely right, Brit is zoned out, compliant and going along because her will is bent out broken and she has literally no other option. It does happen all the time in relationships of abuse, with very little evidence to the outside observer and seemingly no physical restraints on the victim's freedom.
Which is it? We don't know. I can't take it any farther except to observe that your take on the situation could make an absolutely riveting fictional work in pretty much any medium. It would be really interesting to see where someone might go with it.

I’ve noticed that but at around 11:50 Brittany was touching Abby’s hand as a motion to let her talk. She did for a minute and then chimed in. I know they don’t share a brain but it’s amazing to me how they can perfectly say the same sentence at the same time.
In every situation you always have a friend to go through together, kinda fun, imagine talking to oneother all day
It seems hard in terms of comfort but you're definitely never ever alone and no pun intended two heads do really think better than one. I am fascinated by the possibilities.
Sometimes they talk as individuals but at times they talk and do things as one being. It's amazing!

Hi Abby and Brittney Thank you for explaining so well what it is like to be conjoined twins. I had so many questions and you answered a lot of them very well. It is so nice that you are all such good friends. I was really wondering about driving I guess one drives with their left hand and the other drives with the right hand so I guess you have to get 2 licenses. Glad you are having so much fun!

Theyve been together and done everything together their whole lives. They probably don't know what they would do without each other. Im sure its tough at times , but they don't just share underwear, they share organs, including the stuff under underwear. Their stuff is community property, shared 50/50.
That has to be tough , but at the same time - when you literally spend your whole life stuck with someone. Sharing every second of your life with them. Itd probably be hard to imagine life apart from each other. .

It Must Be A Pain Mentally Alot Of Times To Have To Do Everything Together And Being Conjoined Like That I Would Not Be Able To Handle Living A Life Like They Do.
They are all great friends, It is really hard keeping in touch with Uni friends when teachers don't exactly have a huge range of choices with where they end up working. Any way B and A seem like really well adjusted women. As I understand it they have a decent amount of pain to deal with because of being conjoined, which they must deal with pretty well to be the social butterflies they obviously are. Good for them I wish them only the best possible lives they can muster going forward.

They have two separate brains but they talk together at the same time, all the time. I almost cried when they talked about how they each had one hand and one leg, which they had to use synchronously. Incredible!!!

Some parents would've kept them away for fear of being taunted etc yet they pushed their girls by telling them they could do anything they wanted.

Good people. The twins are amazing and their friends are also great. I believe they are going to be friends for life. Glad for them. It tells you that these people were raised in good homes; that is the impression I get.
It's amazing how they interact with with each other. They are speaking together even though they have 2 separate brains . They are finishing each other sentences _ they connected by the body .they use that single body as a means to coexist .they trully function fernominaly . I have mad respect for you girls ! I cannot wrap my mind around this. One has to be more dominant than the other and take control. I wonder if they think the same things, probably not since they have separate brains. Do they share the same stomach. Can they cheat on tests? Do they both need to take a driving test? Do they count as one person or two? Sooooo many questions. This is mindblowing the more I think about it !
Edit: I see they took their driving tests separately. So cool!

Since it's basically one body but two individual heads and people, do they both feel the same thing at the same time? Or does one control one side of the body and the other the other side? If their body had an injury...say one arm was broken, do both of them feel the pain? What's also bizarre to me is that two brains are controlling one body. And I'm not even going to discuss the whole sexual aspects of their lives.

I wish people would stop asking questions about them , im sure they are both tired of it, im sure a lot of us are curious but these two are a miracle they have survived for 33 years of their lives when they were told they wouldn't, they take part in sports, they swim , they do everything together and they have learnt that, they were an egg that fused together, and to separate them would be a no no !

Its sad that Abby has to have spine surgery to keep from growing but it totally makes sense that she cant be permanently bent over and towering over Brittany . It also makes sense that Brittany is the colder of the two since she's a lot tinier . I wish I had such a good group of friends in high school and Chicago looks like a fun time !
