From Friday when he got the call to Tuesday when he was brought home. Different languages, religious beliefs, continents and social status came together in prayer for a wonderful, generous, respectful young man to receive God's blessings. While still in the recovery room, my nephew asked the nurse to have his Mom & Dad thank everyone for their prayers. ♥️
How wonderful that he is doing well. the prayers alone were not enough - it takes the science behind the doctors. Best wishes and what a sweetheart he must be to ask for his thanks to be expressed.
I could never imagine how scary it must have been for the parents when they were in the surgery but also the relief they felt when it was successful. Right now my 34 year old niece just got diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer out of the blue. My dad had cancer and thankfully they caught it in time and it did not spread. My cousin Tisha died of cancer at 15. Right now my next door neighbor is dying from colon cancer. The neighbor to the right of us has bladder cancer. The list goes on. Well, not too long ago, we found out our water has been contaminated since 1996, so that may be a huge reason a lot of our neighbors have cancer. including my niece who always drank the water. She lived in the same district for a while. There is a lawsuit over it, since last year. It is a big one with 3, maybe 4 law firms joining in.

It must have taken an army of medical professionals to even figure out how they were going to approach this and all the plan b's and c's in case the others didn't work right. Soemtimes they don't know exactly what obstacles they might face with organs and all. I don't want this to sound weird but.. What about when they develop? They were conjoined at the chest... Will their breasts grow normally? Is there a lot of scar tissue on their stomachs? Are their ribs out of place?

This is AMAZING!!! It’s SO good that they get to live their own lives! I’m a month older than them, and I couldn’t believe how brave they were. It’s such a miracle that the world has evolved enough to do things just like this. I’m amazed! 🙏🏻👍♥️

Its remarkable how they have completely individual bodies whereas when they were born their organs were quite literally in a twist. I love seeing stuff like this and watching how they grow up.

the day they were separated just happened to be on my birthday and hearing that made me tear up. makes the day extra special because now I can celebrate for all 3 of us for living healthy and wonderful lives
