@Lord of The EdgeChimeras can't "turn into" conjoined twins. But sure, if chimeras with two sets of DNA are possible, then dizygotic conjoined twins should be theoretically possible as well. However, the mechanics would be completely different - usually, you get monozygotic (identical) twins when the zygote splits and forms two embryos. In the case of conjoined monozygotic twins, the split isn't complete. Dizygotic conjoined twins would require two different zygotes that merge with each other. Thing is, I bet you can find it all, somewhere in the world. Possibly in India and other countries, where cousins marry cousins for generations and you get all kinds of genetic fuck-ups because of it. We just don't know about them, and they often aren't viable - in those circumstances, it's quite probably that both the mother and the babes die because of complications during pregnancy or birth. This phenomenon (any of them) is also extremely rare and hard to observe and document just by chance. It's probably more common in animals where large litters are quite usual in contrast to humans. Still, it got nothing to do with hermaphrodites, which can be seen as one of several possible genetic disorders that affect the development of the sexual organs.

Natalie Gol It isn't a miracle. It is exceptionally good medical care and a case that wasn't hopeless from the start. Why not give the medical teams credit for all their practicing and hard work?
@@653j521 It is a miracle. Have you ever looked up the number of seperation surgeries that were unsuccessful? If it were easy peasy, all cojoined twins will be alive and seperated today.
The reason why one twin dies shortly after the other in conjoined twins is because they're sharing organs, blood, etc. and when one dies, you have a dead body attached to you! That would be like having a rotting limb and then being shocked that you soon die! Duh! In this case, no one died. It is nothing remotely the same.
A.J. Dorks :3 same here but instead with gaming. both of my sisters hate gaming and I've always wanted a sibling that likes gaming But in January I found out I had an older brother and he loved gaming
Probably the mom cheated idk or maybe they got mixed up with other twins cuz there couldve been twins born at the same time with the same name or maybe they got adopted and the parents got them separated
Brain Phelps I wouldn't say they "got off easy." Their organs were tangled together, one of their hearts was partially in the other ones chest..it's honestly a miracle that they're alive. What you're talking about it having 2 heads and not being able to be separated because there's only 1 body. That's impossible. It's a miracle that these girls didn't die during the operation.
the two heads one body did happen because there is a documentary about it and quite an old one at that because i first watched it when i was still in high school.

Amanda Rain If they don't develop them, and it's safe, they could get implants. :)
they are so awesome I love their happiness I know but hey argue like normal sisters but their happiness radiates off them
Amber Alcantara yes! my sister and I are like that, and we're almost telepathic! we're not twins, though.
Man when they showed them asleep as babies im not going to lie my heart melted. Beautiful.
They have the same voice...
Luna Night Duh
Luna Night cause the whole thing is a cover for cloning.
Every set of identical twins I've ever met has had the same voice lol
Oh my lord there so cute 💙
cat Thrown they're really sorry
Florrie Southon thanks for saving me from doing that :)
*they're
Can we talk about the phrasing of “They’re their own person.”
OMG IT SHOULD BE "they're their own people"
First reaction was how beautiful these two girls are. Blessed with lovely personalities.❤❤

Not exactly from god.
This is AMAZING!!! It’s SO good that they get to live their own lives! I’m a month older than them, and I couldn’t believe how brave they were. It’s such a miracle that the world has evolved enough to do things just like this. I’m amazed! 🙏🏻👍♥️
I love these stories, sobbin' time! 😭👍

I missed the like button on this comment. Whoops.
No they didn't, the twins are extremely cringey.
forizon ) This comment all together is cringey.
Gravy Is Nice ) Me too
forizon How pathetic! So you wanted them to stay stuck together? Lamo!!
Watching this made my day. Stay blessed you both and have a wonderful life. Love you.
This is a miracle especially since many conjoined twins die, one dies and the other dies right after.
Natalie Gol It isn't a miracle. It is exceptionally good medical care and a case that wasn't hopeless from the start. Why not give the medical teams credit for all their practicing and hard work?
It's not a miracle. It's years and years of study and hard work.
@@653j521 Exactly
@@653j521 It is a miracle. Have you ever looked up the number of seperation surgeries that were unsuccessful?
If it were easy peasy, all cojoined twins will be alive and seperated today.
The reason why one twin dies shortly after the other in conjoined twins is because they're sharing organs, blood, etc. and when one dies, you have a dead body attached to you! That would be like having a rotting limb and then being shocked that you soon die! Duh! In this case, no one died. It is nothing remotely the same.
two cuties who will forever be one in heart. they have something incredibly special.
I'm so happy doctors managed to separate them and everything went well! I hope they live a long and happy life
I've always wanted a sister that likes gymnastics like me
A.J. Dorks :3 same
A.J. Dorks :3 Same, I actually want a family that likes gymnastics.
A.J. Dorks :3 same here but instead with gaming. both of my sisters hate gaming and I've always wanted a sibling that likes gaming But in January I found out I had an older brother and he loved gaming
I want a sister
They're so cute 😘😍😍😍
Okkkkk
Taylor Swift Hi
Theirs is such a loving and incredible story! This is refreshingly amazing.
So amazing. But the girls look absolutely nothing like either parent ....
The Death of Eyekon nigga the universe is an object who’s the real father
ns2110theonly Is that important to you ? Really ? That’s what you take from this story ? No joke ! ?
ns2110theonly maybe they’re adopted.
Probably the mom cheated idk or maybe they got mixed up with other twins cuz there couldve been twins born at the same time with the same name or maybe they got adopted and the parents got them separated
@@weeattrees8354 you know looks can skip generations right
they are lucky they weren't more intertwined in the beginning. There was 1 conjoined twins who only have 1 body but 2 heads. these 2 got off easy
Abby and Brittany Hensel are the twins you are talking about
But one body 2 heads mean they can't be separated and have to live conjoined for the rest of their lives.
There was also one with one head a two bodies! Tough break. Died young.
WOW there are a lot of ten year olds in the comments
hannahbear I'm 10....
LittleSkye Forever exactly....
hannahbear like me! Nah jk I'm 11
i'm 12 so there
Thats rude...!
Im 11 ;-;
Who ever disliked must have had there phone upside down
Yeah, I don't get it.
Australia?
they don’t even seem like they were conjoined.......the fact they changed so much that you wouldn’t even belive they were conjoined
Wait so how are they going to develop breasts when they're in their teens?
Fatimah Mirza does it matter
Lara T It actually does matter. Teens can be very self conscience about their body
Lara T it obviously does matter breast aren't there for no reason they are there to feed their children
Hannah •-• Their personality's will go farther than breasts ever could
Fatimah Mirza yeah good question
They are adorable, happy, and love each other. So beautiful. God Bless these wonderful doctors and parents. I'm so glad I saw this!!
What a miracle. This is amazing. Blessed them.
Greys anatomy
AF
Which episode?
Season 10 episode 22
Melany There is another episode in the earlier seasons about conjoined baby twins
It’s possible that the episode was based off of this story.
wanted to see their scars
Amazing. God bless these two precious little girls.
Ad Pickers hey how you doing
'Infectious spunk' means something completely different in the UK o.o
What does it mean? (I live in Australia)
It means infectious semen.
They said spunk . In England it has two meanings. 1: courage ,and 2 slang meaning :semen.
What an amazing, lovely story. I'd love to see an update.
I remember watching this on discovery health years ago!! So glad too see they're still okay
its amazing what docs can do theses days keep up the good work
I find it so sweet and amazing at the same time that they still try to find each other's hands even though they were separated at 6 months and can't remember ever being conjoined. Babies are just so fascinating!
