- 0In the final episode, Abby & Brittany are busy and anxious! As they prepare for their first job in the real world, they've got to get a lot done including buying teaching supplies to setting up their classroom.
On top of that, they must squeeze in time to move into and decorate their new house. As the days count down to the start of school, Abby & Brittany meet up with an old teacher who gives them advice on this new chapter in their lives.

The fact that they finish each other's sentences down to the "ums" is absolutely fascinating.

Yes it’s a if they individually reinforce fortify each other… and they clearly compliment each half of them as they navigate their young adult lives together.
It’s amazing to me how they both can do things without even discussing or thinking..and how one can start a sentence and the other finishes it

I love how at 3:58 Abby instinctively "fixed" Brittany's hair. They are so fascinating to watch, because they are two wonderful individuals who happen to share the same body.

Honestly what makes these girls stand out is their personality. Very sweet, fun, likeable and happy women. I’m sure their friends always have a good time when they’re around.

Eh they stand out cause they are the only set of twins who are conjoined in this unique way who survived to adulthood. Yeah there personalities are nice ....but they stand out cause they are conjoined.

I’d be so honored if I were that high school teacher they look up to. I mean to have someone tell you you’re the reason they’ve found a passion in your life is one thing; but someone like Brittney and Abby who have faced so many challenges. It has to be such an honor.
I saw them walking out from Target one day and did a double take when I saw them. Not because they are conjoined, but because I didn't know that lived in my town 😆

The one thing that I did not think of was how HR would handle as far as paying them. One body doing a job but clearly 2 individual people.
They have 2 separate contracts, so I would assume that means a paycheck each
They answer that question in this video. The pay is split in half and they each get their own paycheck.
@@Aelffwynn i heard in another video that they get paid as one person, so what is true? or split two pays for one person? would assume with the matrix of a system we live in it would be always favoredto the system, so they want job they must both pass, they aretwo peaople need to botrh pass. but when it comes to pay its ehh they are just one person, whatever is convient for the system.
So. Not. Fair. But I guess there was only one job available.

What amazes me is that they are super intelligent and way way far ahead of everyone else bc of how they think and do things together as conjoined twins that's what is so amazing and inspiring bc of the stuff they do in their lives as conjoined sisters

common with kids who grow up with major medical issues, bc they spend a lot more time around adults (educated adults, too)
but having to see your own mortality differently compared to most people will also make you mature real fast. they are both so remarkable ❤

I have seen a number of videos with them. I find them incredibly inspiring. All the things they have over come and work around has made them some of the strongest women I have seen. I bet the kids will adore them.

Amazing?! The only thing amazing is their personality, positivity and liveliness. They are really great especially given the circumstances. But apart from that their condition is one big tragedy. They were robed of so many things one takes for granted it's horrifying to think.
You literally have no privacy *ever.* They're gawked at like circus freaks anywhere they go. If one of them dies the other one will go as well. The list is endless of things that are so much worse for them compared to healthy people.

One amazing thing they model as teachers is how to get along with others and work together. They are so lovely and inspirational!

plus just because they have a neck-impairment doesn't mean they don't have happy lives. lots of people that have chronic-pain can have happy lives (and honestly, i don't even know if they've talked about having neck pain)

These 2 ladies are wonderful and I've actually met them once...I used to work at a gas station in the area they lived in a few years ago...

I don't remember the twins talking simultaneously during any of their other documentary films or any videos etc. Interesting. Also as a teacher myself it is cute watching them get their classroom ready etc. I wish I had a fan mail address for them. I saw them once at the Eden Prairie mall but they get bothered in public a lot so I was afraid of saying hi and bothering them etc. Gah. Lol. Anyway. I'm glad to see them doing so well. They deserve it. ❤️
Not being mean, but how do they not get constantly swarmed in public all the time? Before I knew what conjoined twins even were, it'd boggled my mind to see someone in person with two heads. Especially it would random kids. (not the kids who grow up with her in the classroom and are used to it, for the most part)
You had a lucky encounter. I'd be interested in talking to them too, though I'd feel the same way aswell about bothering them. I'm sure they wouldn't mind a quick "Hi, I saw you from youtube Britney and Abey!", a small conversation, and then going about your way just like any person.

Honestly the producers are likely telling them to talk at the same time. Sounds like one is trying to speak at the same time as the other.

They are 32 now. This was filmed a long time ago. I think they let people in as much as they chose to and now it's their lives and no ones business.

They'd probably make a killer side hustle painting as they can use two rollers at once, easily! I mean, the rest of us could too but not as fast and skillful as these two ladies.

Hopefully they’ve grown out of it since then. If they want to be viewed as two separate people, as they should, then they should act as two separate people.

It’s UNBELIEVABLE how they can maneuver both sides of their body in unison & w zero verbal communication. Even to go as far as fixing the others hair or grasp hands…& their hand gestures are in sync. It defies all logic. Really amazing!

My favorite thing the Hensley twins said is our parents don’t let that us use that an excuse. I can relate. I am completely blind, 32 years old, and my parents nor do I use that an excuse to get through life and accomplish what I want. I am so happy they are the same and work together to work on their accomplishments. Like they said, they are just normal people.
