I don't care who you are if people have that kind of humor you can't help but be their friend.
The ABSOLUTELY craziest part of them is they have 2 different brains with separate consciousness yet they somehow finish each other's sentences and and can control both limbs simultaneously.
I mean it’s probably because they have been like this their whole lives so they have gotten accustomed to it so they don’t even have to think about things like that, it’s just happens naturally
Telepathy and controlling someone else's body is a lot harder when you're not fused together
They each have a pair of arms which the other one can’t control as for the legs they each have one which the other one also can’t control…so for like walking they kinda have to coordinate and that’s mind blowing honestly 🔥
I think it’s because they’re identical twins so they’re inclined to somewhat similar thinking patterns

So crazy how Carmen is a strong headed extrovert and Lupita is sweet and intuitive introvert. Complete opposite personalities but they are in the same body. I love it.

I was watching this with my five year old and I asked her if she had any questions. After asking how they go potty she didn’t have any other questions. She did, however, say: “Look mom, together they make a heart shape!” ❤️ And they really do!
By the way, Chris- keep up the great work! I love watching your videos with my daughter and teaching her about all the different and beautiful variations of people in the world

No two kids are ever parented the same. Not even conjoined twins. It's literally impossible. The parents would have to be robots to do it.
They weren't raised exactly the same nor did they have the same experiences. One is physically stronger and that would have affected almost everything in their childhoods - how they played, how they moved, how their parents treated them...
@@junbh2 and yet this is the closest to sameness as it can ever be. And so different personalities. I guess it very well proves the theory that we are all born in our own way, and although family and environment play a huge part of course, our personality is something that’s allocated to every one of us at the start of the journey.
It’s also the case that twins who were raised separately can share a lot of personality traits

Yeah, but it's one of those sarcastic, lazy one-liners that gets old. Like parents of any twins get "Are they twins?" about 500 times through one trip to Target. By the 5,000 time it's not funny anymore.

Carmen is so thoughtful, she really thinks a lot before she speaks. She sounds so level headed! Lupita's description of anxiety is spot on and her laugh/smile is AWESOME. They both really light up the room!

What's a great interview, what a great family! I love what Carmen said about how parents should teach their children. At the end, it's all about treating each other with respect, dignity, warmth and honesty.

Honestly my biggest question if they want to answer it, is when one of them gets startled but the other doesn't does the other feel an adrenaline rush as it goes into their blood stream?

I absolutely love these girls. They are astonishingly intelligent and well-spoken. They are also astonishingly beautiful and well adjusted. It speaks volumes to the love the family has for each other.

for sure it is natural that conjoined twins bring a lot of curiosity and questions for us that are not hipsters. but the most important thing is that they have made a real lesson of compromise, facing differences and challenges and being supportive people
agreed. I don't know this for sure but I feel like they'd be facing many different struggles quite often. they still manage to stay positive and enjoy each others company. they're tough girls and at the end of the day, they'll always have each other.
Wow! Imagine getting beat up by your sister,and there is nothing you can do about it, because you're stuck together like this. This is so sad to have to live life that way,but at least you are not alone.

I would imagine they have a ton of body aches and pains because of the inability to stretch out or or hold their heads up straight. Plus these are two totally different humans with different desires and needs. the amount of patience I can only imagine.

Carmen is very outspoken and articulate awhile Lupita is very reserved and humble! Both girls seem to have an amazed relationship of loves and respects for each other! Hopefully, we get to see more of them!
I loved this interview. I also loved seeing these comments, everyone is being kind, sharing their thoughts and allowing everyone to have their own thoughts. Every thread I have seen in the last two year's, people are arguing, calling each other names. This whole thing was so refreshing on so many levels!

When I look at Carmen and Lupita I see intelligence, and I see beauty. They are just like any two sisters that are twins, special in a cool way, but normal, like everybody else. They have wonderful personalities and are very wise for their young ages. They have great smiles. And such patience being asked all these questions. God bless them both and their family. I wish them all much happiness and peace.
I'm a twin, and their relationship are REALLY similar to the relationship I have with my sister.
I'm always the most defensive and decided, and my sister is really emotional and just wants everyone to hangout.
it's amazing and paradoxical that their central nervous systems are distinct with different personalities yet connected literally so they share a sense of body. As with all consciousness, literally impossible to describe precisely to someone without the same nervous system configuration. And they seem like fun people too.

Like how Carmen is a bit more defensive bc we all know how ignorant and mean people can be, where as Lupita trys to always see the good and people, and how both have a great sense of humor. It’s quite amazing and crazy how there are famous cases like this that are my age. I find their story the most extraordinary given their life expectancy given at birth. I do also love how Carmen is so carefree. I think the “be more creative” comeback is one of the best attitudes you can have about life

People see us as so different that they often step the boundary and ask invasive, upsetting questions. We're all normal human beings - cut us some slack. Embracing ourselves as who we are is far better than feeling ashamed though, regardless of the many absurd thinhd that people may say. It's easier when you have a uniqueness about yourself to see the true colors of people. Those who don't judge you and treat you the way that you deserve to be treated are the good eggs. It's important for us to always surround ourselves with positivity. I would love to be friends with both of you, because of how much I can relate to your story. Thank you both for being awesome!

The comfort of their anatomy worries me. It makes my back hurt just looking at what's going on. I hope digestion and respiration isn't painful for them. It all looks rather squished in the torso area.
