Savage says these are available but this is the first video or picture I’ve see of one outside of their promo videos. My local savage dealer can’t get one and they haven’t been available anywhere online.
Nice gun but, 8.2-8.5 pounds depending on the caliber?!? What the hell is Savage thinking? It’s called the Timberline, the timberline is around 10,000 feet, put a scope and a sling on this and you’ll have a 10 pound rifle! Nobody wants to lug a 10 pound rifle around at 10,000 feet. Call it what it is, a bench rest shooter, and not the best offering Savage has for bench rest. Kudos to Savage for offering a left handed model with all the same features as the right handed rifles, very few manufacturers do this. If Savage could shave 2 1/2 pounds off this they would really have something worthy of being called a Timberline.

I Wonder What Kind Of Accuracy It Has? Guess I Will Have To Watch Another Video.

Maybe savage should start making ammo
Cool.
If only the NRA were real activists
Get rid of the trigger safety.
