I watched Halloween Kills and all throughout the movie I said to myself "They deserve whatever happens to them" . They wanted the smoke and it turned into a full blown BBQ.
Apparently the only thing that I can see that can kill Michael is Big Duke, Robert DuVall's character from Apocalypse Now ordering a gigantic blast of napalm from his airplanes, on top of Michael's dome. "I love the smell of napalm in the.......evening." Sorry, I got carried away there.
I finally figured it out. He cannot be killed with the mask on. His attention is always immediately to the mask if its removed. Before the mob shot and beat him, the first thing he did was put on the mask. I could be wrong but go back to all the other movies and see.

Fighting Michael close hand combat unprepared will get him killed John has speed but Michael has peak human to super human strength, high healing durability. If Michael catches John, he usually doesn't let go unless victim is dead. John has to realize very fast his regular attacks does no harm
Michael can’t be killed if he has on the mask. If he has it off he is weaker that’s why he completely disregarded killing Allyson because Karen had his mask and before he killed everyone else he had to put it back on instead of just going straight for them.

Michael isn’t drawn to Laurie and never has been. He’s only drawn to his childhood home and murders along the way. I love that they emphasized that in this movie. He only came across her last movie by coincidence.

Actually the reason him being how he is, may have to do with the Thorn cult and that Laurie is probably his sister. Cause as long as a myers sibling lives, he'll always come back. So Michael will live as long as Laurie is alive.

I think Michael does have some element of the supernatural . I hope Halloween ends will explain everything. Halloween kills is a good movie with a high body count and it was very bloody. Seeing Michael go beast mode on people was a holy shit moment.
EDIT: Judy Greer confirmed Karen is dead. This comment is just for fun now. I think Karen might surprisingly be alive for two reasons: - she actually hallucinated that scene of her getting knifed because she saw young Michael in the window, already stretching the realism of the scene, and it's basically her looking in to her dark parts in a way, where evil has taken over - she survives the stab wounds, like Annie in the 2007 version, this could be because of not really deep wounds (looked like Michael was cutting her arms mostly) or a surprise twist that she's alive like Hawkins (I'm sure most of us thought he was dead when Sartain stabbed his neck because he exhaled like the life left his body).
Went and saw it yesterday after work. I feel like she is still alive somehow, but we won't know for sure until the next one. But my parents and I said if she did get killed that her mother and daughter will most likely get revenge.

@@LeaveMeAloneFBI In Halloween 2, (the old one) he went to hospital to kill her and in Halloween 2018, he went all the way out to her secluded house in woods to get her, so she's always been the target which is why this one was alittle confusing.and let's not forget Halloween H20...she changed her identity and left Haddonfield and he still found her...the premise of the whole series was to kill his sister.
the ending was perfect to me I loved the twist where they beat him up but he managed to kill them all and then the mother is killed, great job movie creators you did an amazing job

I liked the movie. Kills were a lot more gruesome then expected (I wanna say most was practical effects. If it was CGI, bravo) Some characters felt under used and some sequences felt like it was missing a cut but overall a really enjoyable movie. Don't expect Oscar-level storytelling as it's a slasher horror.

Cheesy funny scenes , literally no character had common sense and in the original movies 1979 all the way up to six were wrote better . Recently during another interview, he said that they're waiting how these two movies perform. Halloween Kills just killed at the box office and broke two records. This was my favorite of all the sequels... Hands down. It was entertaining and honestly... Funny in several scenes, which is something they've never gone for. You can't put Lenny "Clahk" in a movie and not expect some level of comedy... However the scene of what Michael does to him while his wife has no choice but to watch was downright disturbing.

I read all those artful negative reviews on the rotten tomato thing and I was like seriously who the heck are these people that write those reviews. Saying Halloween Kills didn’t further the story (it definitely did), saying Halloween Kills was just violent (duh it’s a horror movie about a serial killing villain, was he supposed to give out gift cards 💳 and style with his knife 🔪). I wrote a positive review. This movie was everything that I didn't know I wanted. I think my peers feel like it was disjointed. They completely missed the points and the symbolism.
That ending shouldn’t have happened, at that point the Myers’ house was an active crime scene. First responders were already there. Police would’ve already been examining the place for that attack not to have occurred.

This movie was absolutely awesome, eve better than Halloween (2018). One of the highlights of the movie was the flashback scenes. The recreation of the Myers house, seeing old school Michael Myers (with a perfect mask!) and the return of Dr. Loomis!!!! My wife and I were in awe seeing that.
How many have a feeling that the only ending of Halloween Ends is the end of Lori and everyone else? With the “shape” remaining very much alive and ready to take more victims!
I am thinking it will end with Laurie coming across a bound up Michael and she chops his head off similar to H20, but it ends up being the granddaughter. Michael would pull a gotcha and walk off into the night - roll credits.
SPOILER I was not a fan of how they spent the ENTIRE 2018 film hyping up this good versus evil connection between Laurie and Michael just to completely erase it in Halloween Kills. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Michael killing simply because he is... well, evil. But, to spend so much time building this rivalry (which I assume will be picked up again in the next movie) then switch to Michael having zero interest in Laurie was jarring

I think the flashback scenes and the incorporation of survivors in past movies really brought this movie back home and made it so much better !

I finally figured it out. He cannot be killed with the mask on. His attention is always immediately to the mask if its removed. Before the mob shot and beat him, the first thing he did was put on the mask. I could be wrong but go back to all the other movies and see.

Michael isn’t drawn to Laurie and never has been. He’s only drawn to his childhood home and murders along the way. I love that they emphasized that in this movie. He only came across her last movie by coincidence.
Exactly, last film he was never actually hunting her, he was just going around and killing people he came across. The only way he knew where she lived was because of his Doctor obsessed with him.
He only cares about his childhood house and his mask. In the recent movie he only killed people that were along the route to his home, instead of hunting Laurie he just went to his childhood home. I dont think she's that much of a priority to him as people think.
As for the mask, Michael actively hunted the couple in the last movie because they had his mask. Similar in the recent film, Michael stops choking allison once she starts pulling off his mask. Then Karen takes off his mask and runs off with it and instead of finishing Allison he chases after Karen, not for her, but for his mask.
also my theory on what is Michaels power it's the mask think about it why is he so protective over people trying to remove it why when confronted by the mob in the street did he pick up the mask and put it on he did it because it's the source of his power that is how you kill him remove the mask
Actually the reason him being how he is, may have to do with the Thorn cult and that Laurie is probably his sister. Cause as long as a myers sibling lives, he'll always come back. So Michael will live as long as Laurie is alive.

I think Michael does have some element of the supernatural . I hope Halloween ends will explain everything. Halloween kills is a good movie with a high body count and it was very bloody. Seeing Michael go beast mode on people was a holy shit moment.

I think Karen might surprisingly be alive for two reasons:
- she actually hallucinated that scene of her getting knifed because she saw young Michael in the window, already stretching the realism of the scene, and it's basically her looking in to her dark parts in a way, where evil has taken over
- she survives the stab wounds, like Annie in the 2007 version, this could be because of not really deep wounds (looked like Michael was cutting her arms mostly) or a surprise twist that she's alive like Hawkins (I'm sure most of us thought he was dead when Sartain stabbed his neck because he exhaled like the life left his body).
Same when I was watching I was thinking she didn’t actually die because he only really cut her hands and not any vital organs

I liked the movie. Kills were a lot more gruesome then expected (I wanna say most was practical effects. If it was CGI, bravo) Some characters felt under used and some sequences felt like it was missing a cut but overall a really enjoyable movie. Don't expect Oscar-level storytelling as it's a slasher horror.

Recently during another interview, he said that they're waiting how these two movies perform. Halloween Kills just killed at the box office and broke two records. Guess I’ll wait for scream 5 and pray it’s better. I never was a huge fan of the Halloween movies but the trailer looked good so I watched it on peacock since it came out on there before in theaters. But everyone has their opinions and favorites.

This was my favorite of all the sequels... Hands down. It was entertaining and honestly... Funny in several scenes, which is something they've never gone for. You can't put Lenny "Clahk" in a movie and not expect some level of comedy... However the scene of what Michael does to him while his wife has no choice but to watch was downright disturbing.

Even after this movie I still don’t understand why they couldn’t keep the brother and sister relation. Now they want to get all Philosophical as to why Michael is a killer.🙄 when loomis did it it was good because he was a psychiatrist. You got all these damn towns people thinking they know shit when they don’t know a damn thing.

Technically it's better off with Michael targeting victims at random, I actually didn't mind them scrapping the whole brother/sister story

Halloween Kills was absolutely amazing, I’m now sure that it was worth the wait. I read all those artful negative reviews on the rotten tomato thing and I was like seriously who the heck are these people that write those reviews. Saying Halloween Kills didn’t further the story (it definitely did), saying Halloween Kills was just violent (duh it’s a horror movie about a serial killing villain, was he supposed to give out gift cards 💳 and style with his knife 🔪). Seriously critics today verified or not get no credibility if they didn’t give this movie 5 stars ⭐️ in my opinion. If you haven’t seen the movie 🍿, see it. 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆

@@cartelplug8183 I think the main reason the face has never been the focus but in a way has been by not showing it, is because no matter what Michael looks like humanly to us by seeing his face it may change how we view the inner force behind both his mental and super powered rage that’s so much darker and the truth behind all Halloween movies. The fact is any person including you or me could have his face. Just a psychological view of my fave horror villain.
I wrote a positive review. This movie was everything that I didn't know I wanted. I think my peers feel like it was disjointed. They completely missed the points and the symbolism.

That ending shouldn’t have happened, at that point the Myers’ house was an active crime scene. First responders were already there. Police would’ve already been examining the place for that attack not to have occurred.

Big John and little John have a little place in my heart. They’re so sweet.
This movie was absolutely awesome, eve better than Halloween (2018). One of the highlights of the movie was the flashback scenes. The recreation of the Myers house, seeing old school Michael Myers (with a perfect mask!) and the return of Dr. Loomis!!!! My wife and I were in awe seeing that.
She said "you can't stop him with brutal force" so I'm guessing you need love like the troll king in Ernest Scared Stupid 😂😂

I am thinking it will end with Laurie coming across a bound up Michael and she chops his head off similar to H20, but it ends up being the granddaughter. Michael would pull a gotcha and walk off into the night - roll credits.

I was not a fan of how they spent the ENTIRE 2018 film hyping up this good versus evil connection between Laurie and Michael just to completely erase it in Halloween Kills. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Michael killing simply because he is... well, evil. But, to spend so much time building this rivalry (which I assume will be picked up again in the next movie) then switch to Michael having zero interest in Laurie was jarring
Damn, people really wont be satisfied, its actually impossible...at first people wanted michael to kill anyone and everyone around him, now they want him to be this vengeful guy hunting only 1 person.

Because Michael didn’t care about Laurie only people did. Remember it was the doctor who lead Michael to Laurie. Michael didn’t give a damn about killing her sister, he did it just because. Before i thought the reason why Michael comes after Laurie is because she’s the one who got away but now I believe he doesn’t care about her and his legend.
To me this movie didn't give me "Halloween" or Michael Meyers.. If your a true Halloween fan and have seen all of them since Jamie lee curtis #1 then you know what I mean. This Blumhouse Production was horrible to me. Def not John Carpenters usual. Upsetting.
@@rocketblooom No I agree, I think the movie handled this 'twist' very well but it weakens the 2018 film for me and makes me somewhat angry at how they advertised Kills as another Laurie versus Michael showdown. Also, it does not help that the next movie is 100% going to have them face off again. Just my opinion, I still loved this movie!

As a fan of Halloween for over 15 years, this is the best Myers mask yet. The one from the Reboot was my favorite but this one looks really good.
