Great video and very helpful as these cartridges last about 3-5 years and are not serviceable, So budget £100 every time for a replacement.

I managed to replace the shower cartridge three years ago and the same problem has happened again. I did purchase another cartridge but for some reason I’m getting no hot water. I purchased the entire replacement system like you have in your video but for some reason even the handle turns the opposite way when I turn the water on and I don’t get any pressure until I turn small until I get cold water flows, any idea why this is happening?

Mine only worked for one week. Surely it does not need a new cartridge. What do you think happened?

Great clear video. Sadly, this is needed as these cartridges need to be replaced every 2-3 years. Terrible British quality. The joke is that the shower is advertised with a picture of the cartridge, bragging about how great it is, and the text adjacent to the picture quotes a 15 year guarantee. However, when you read the small print the guarantee is only for the metal parts of the shower and the cartridge only has a one-year warranty. What a con! Like selling a car with a 5 year warranty and finding out that doesn't apply to the engine.
