As a Singaporean, you nailed the style. Reminds me of beautiful shophouses in my country. The only thing I could say is off is that these houses are quite long and they usually come with a central courtyard from what I'm aware of as someone who hasn't had the opportunity to actually check out the interior of housing like these.

Hey, I'm interested in this architecture, could you help me a little bit? I'd love to build something authentic feeling too when I eventually get my hands on the pack. From some other commenters I gathered there might even be an inner courtyard so anyway my question, if you don't mind helping me, is: can you think of a city/town/area name that I could type in to Google earth so I could find some actual houses for inspiration? See the roofing is usually the trickiest when doing builds from unfamiliar architecture styles and it really helps to get some Real references. Locals are always the best source and I don't really like guessing details like this. I'd really appreciate any help! ❤

@@ilymiyah i mean all these times none of the packs really represented south east asia, and now you got it. for some reasons its pretty exciting for people here. it must be ridiculous for you since maybe you get your everyday stuffs in the game since the beginning, but i bet for some people it does hit home seeing your things finally officially came to the game you love to play
This is a gorgeous build! Many terraced houses built in this style that I've seen in Malaysia have a central, open-air courtyard for light/air/more windows although the full house ends up being pretty long. Many started as a shop in the front with homes in the back when they were first built, but have now been converted into hotels/cafes. Also, if you're feeling up for a challenge, do consider building the Blue Mansion in Penang, Malaysia - I can see where so many items from this pack would work.

Green: An Aspiring young actress, just moved out of her parent’s house who is obsessed with her new cute kitten. (Apartment might be a little bare)
Red: A young married couple ready to grow their family, but who can do that with an in-law crowding up the space.
White: A mature/older retired musician who can’t help but fill the night with jazzy melodies.
These are such good ideas! Perhaps instead of the musician, the mil is the owner of the 3 units, and she is constantly dropping by, like at all hours of the day and night. She could expect her son to handle all repairs, and wants to teach his wife how to cook "properly" for her baby boy.
Stopppp so beautiful! Please consider building some community lots for the new world? Seeing an abundance of rentals but the world needs more community lots!

i really love this, so far this has been my fav build to see come out of this pack by all the simmers i follow! it turned out so beautiful and i love that even tho u had all the packs you still leaned heavily on the new items and style, i can see how inspired its made you! cant wait to see these furnished! maybe have each sim do something related to the night market so theyre all like small business owners? or otherwise involved with the community, like a local politician or conservationist-? i also think this pack has some kind of stray animal component right (i could be totally off base 😂)? so maybe a vet?

I think the felixandre colonial collection would fit so well in this style but there definitely needs to be more cc in this style
I love the colourful houses! An idea for sims living in one of them could be siblings, quite far apart in age (i imagine one barely adult so like 19 or maybe really early 20s and one a child). The elder sibling takes in the younger one after the parents died in an accident because they didn't want they sibling to go to foster care. They live off of inheritance and a part time job the elder sibling has while in uni. The house could be very youthful and colorful, maybe have some memorabilia (urns or couples pictures for the parents). Older sibling could be studying arts and be a bit chaotic, but exceptionally caring and the younger could be having a hard time adjusting and acting out while trying to find solace in fantasy worlds of games, movies and books.
I’m always blown away by your builds, this is no exception!
Some thoughts for the sims:
1. A recent anthropology/archeology graduate student who moved to Tomarang for a new job opportunity?
2. A mom whose young adult daughter fell pregnant and is single, and both trying to prep for this new addition to the family
3. The local helper guy; he is known around Tomarang for having all kinds of jobs and side hustle. He is always willing to lend a helping hand. He has just about basic skills in everything imaginable.

I love this style!! You did such an amazing job and I’m excited to see the furnishings!
Green: I think this would be such a perfect house for an artistic sim! I vision a young girl who is fresh out of high school and moved out of her parent’s house with her boyfriend to pursue a career in art! Maybe she’s a bit rebellious because maybe her parents don’t approve of her skipping college and living with her boyfriend. I think she’s fun and quirky and likes to take pictures of the surrounding nature so she can paint them. I think she also loves animals and nature, so maybe she can also have a cat or two as well!
Red: I think a newlywed couple would be so cute! I also think maybe they have a baby on the way, too, so they’re just putting the finishing touches on the nursery. I think the father could be a businessman who just graduated from university but has already established a successful career. I think the mother maybe does something part-time but mainly want to focus on raising her son or daughter. Maybe she’s also passionate about music and enjoys writing sweet songs for her husband and soon-to-be child.
White: I vision an older woman living here with her dog. I think she’s divorced and maybe comes across as a grumpy old lady, but once you get to know her, she can be really sweet. I think she’s definitely feisty and feminine and is probably living off of the funds of her wealthy ex husband, so she has a large wardrobe and loves fancy jewelry and makeup. I think her dog is her whole world, especially because she probably doesn’t have any grandchildren.

I have the same struggle: I don't know if I'll be able to furnish all of my new apartments but I know that I will end up doing it anyway HAHAHAH. Otherwise it will feels incomplete

An idea for when you decorate the houses: one of them belongs to an artist with a thrifted, vintage style. Her parents were super strict growing up, so she wasn't allowed to express herself. They also weren't very supportive of her wanting to paint, so she got a lawyer's degree. In the end, it just made her miserable, so she quit her job to go after her dream job as a painter and she's now at the point in her life where she's really successful in her career. This is her first house where she's able to celebrate her independance and do what she truly wants.
