I'll still never forget my first Scillian derby back on November 27th 2014. Rain poured down the side of my face as the sound of all 17 fans, singing passionately, rang out across the gravel car park. I made my way towards the two pub benches to find my seat, carrying a single-sided laminated match programme in hand. As the last sheep was cleared off the pitch, I had never been more excited in all my life. I gracefully tucked into my cod and chips on the sideline, just as the match got under way.
Our team struggled early on however and we were quickly antagonised by chants of "sacked in the morning", and "are you West Ham in disguise". Suddenly it descended into full blown chaos as the two sets of rival fans clashed in a heated fracas. I even heard somebody get called a "tosser". Someone else actually had a chip thrown at them. Videos of the incident did the rounds on Scilly social media for weeks. I haven't even been to a Scillian derby since. The atmosphere is just too intense for my liking. Like nothing I have experienced in my life. Personally, I like peaceful, respectful fan interactions, which is why I go up to see Millwall play each home game.

I live on the Isle of Islay which has little over 3000 residents but for the last couple years there’s only been 2 teams in our local football league so the record must be shared

i think you'll find the 2nd placing team is relegated, but then they win the 2nd division before any other team because theres nobody in the 2nd tier, and then the top flight starts

Should do a video on football on the Outer Hebrides, Orkney or Shetland in Scotland. Feel they'd be very interesting as those islands almost feel like a different country compared to Scilly.
