So, no engine mods, but shouldn’t the 1LE spoiler and wing provide some upgraded aero to the ZL1? Should have more downforce then the standard I’d think.
Wow nothing for the end of camaro considering it’s only been alive since 67. Kind of disrespectful to not bring less than 800hp today. Appearance is less than half the point of a last call.
It just feels like we've been quietly dumped since the 6th gen came out. They backed out on the Z28, which wasnt too bad considering how phenomenal the ZL1 1LE ended up performing. But then they flopped on the refresh. Then up and decided not to compete with the GT500 or Hellcat/Redeye/Demon. During this whole damn phase, no billboards or commercials. No power increase. The C7 ZR1 got the LT5 and was done after a year. Who wanted an electric camaro or whatever they'll call it man?? Just sucks. I have a C7 Z06 w/ Z07 track spec and was prepared to trade for the '24 ZL1 1LE if it came with more power. But I guess Callaway is the only way from factory.
Chevy has the LT2 for the SS to catch up with the Black horse, and they have the LT4 Blackwing with a bit more power for the ZL1. Why in the world didn't they go out like that instead of putting a black panther emblem. They truly have dropped the ball and kicked it how sad.
@Beau Ramirez I had a 21 1ss and just got a 23 2ss 1le. The 1le is a different beast. Best car I’ve ever owned. I would go with the 2ss you get the blind spot monitoring and the rear view mirror camera which is amazing. I take it to the track and it beats most cars on the track. I just beat two c8’s with the z51 package last time I was out.
So an lt1 rn starts at 38k and if I want the package I’m paying 47k or whatever it was? And you said it was a 5k increase right so now the lt1 is starting at 42k? Ouch. Looks like my dream of getting a V8 has been delayed big time and my last hope is ford

LT1 on the hood and the fender says Camaro on it now
Over priced. Glad i got my 1Le zl1 in 2018
My 1le just sits in the garage because, the wolf king GT is a blast to ride. No gas, traffic, just adrenaline rush.
Out of the 350 ZL1 being build, will it have a sunroof and will it come in a convertible?
Fairly sure those options can be added, but good questions to ask.
@Lethalgarage I'm thinking of staying with my 2019 Riverside Mettalic Blue. Auto. I'm the original owner. Has 2700 miles. Sunroof. Loaded with all the bells and whistles. 10 spd. Has Rotofab cold air intake. 105 mm throttle body. Upper and lower pulleys. Tuned to hp at the crank and 690 at the rear. Oil catch can. Original exhaust. It's a beast. Hopefully it will go up on value. Thank you for keep us up to date. 👍👊💪
So, no engine mods, but shouldn’t the 1LE spoiler and wing provide some upgraded aero to the ZL1? Should have more downforce then the standard I’d think.
Technically the wing only works with the Canards, which are missing
They could’ve given a Z/28 with the new z06 v8…. And STILL make it limited to like 300 units and it would’ve obliterated sales.
Wow nothing for the end of camaro considering it’s only been alive since 67. Kind of disrespectful to not bring less than 800hp today. Appearance is less than half the point of a last call.
I mean it’s the 2nd time they let it die.
@@Lethalgarage yeah true
It’s sad that the base Ford Mustang GT s650 looks better than this CE
Eye of the beholder my friend. Unless it’s a new a GT350 or GT500 it’s isn’t worth my time.
No lt5 engine on the zl1 2024 ? 😢
Chevy has the LT2 for the SS to catch up with the Black horse, and they have the LT4 Blackwing with a bit more power for the ZL1. Why in the world didn't they go out like that instead of putting a black panther emblem. They truly have dropped the ball and kicked it how sad.
So the question is do I try and get SS collectors edition or an 1LE?
@Beau Ramirez I had a 21 1ss and just got a 23 2ss 1le. The 1le is a different beast. Best car I’ve ever owned. I would go with the 2ss you get the blind spot monitoring and the rear view mirror camera which is amazing. I take it to the track and it beats most cars on the track. I just beat two c8’s with the z51 package last time I was out.
Jay Leno will get one
So an lt1 rn starts at 38k and if I want the package I’m paying 47k or whatever it was? And you said it was a 5k increase right so now the lt1 is starting at 42k? Ouch. Looks like my dream of getting a V8 has been delayed big time and my last hope is ford
That’s only if you want the CE package. The Non-CE cars are the price they were this year.
bruh they are selling used 21-23 lt1s with 10-15k miles for 40k rn in this shitty market
$90k…. Really GM😐
If this is what they're going to give on it's dying breath, they deserve the 🗡!...Can We get a rwd Monte SS preferably a 87/88 fiberglass body resto
Overpriced ZL1, no 2SS option. Glad I have my 2018 2SS 1LE.
Ummmm…. Very much has a 2SS option
@@Lethalgarage yeah, I see that now. Spoke before I done my research. Now to convince the wife that I need to keep my Camaro AND get the 2SS Collector Edition.
Wheres the Z28??
So no more 2ss?😢😢😢
Honestly, have they created anything beyond appearance packages since Al Oppenheiser left the program in late 2018? I bet all the E&D for the minor model change was complete along with even the 4cyl & V6 1LE packages by then as well.
They have not. I talk with a lot of engineers and workers at GM and they really wanted too, Mary and Mark shot it all down.
So it’s more or less the standard car plus stickers and a cheap watch - sounds like GM is trying to drum up sales calling it collectors edition
He bro I got a 2SS CE coming build date is 9/25
This really sucks to be a Chevrolet Camaro fan , General Motors really fumble the football on this one What a disaster 😡😡😡😡😤😤😤😤👎👎👎👎👎
Guess I’ll just go with the GT S650 now. GM folded hard on this one. Hurts me to go to ford but yeah makes more sense
Lethal will we be able to get the collectors edition on a SS 1LE? I have read some places you can and then others don't say anything about it. Love how this blacked out panther edition looks.
Can’t add a CE package to the 1LE
Great... Now I know I have the best Camaro, I just wont have the last version. Still helps resale, but wtf. GM is giving up with tails between their legs and flipping over.
Wait a few months and you can get exact motif's for cheap, making the edition costs being useless. It is like owners of SS paying more and 1LE or lower trims putting SS badges on it.
At least I don't drive a Challenger which hasn't changed anything in 15 years.
probably they have 350 cf spoiler left and need to clean the inventory
The spoiler has been a back ordered item for a long time.
I don’t even wear a watch. $14k extra🤯🤯🤯
Market place for the 1LE front splitter/ wang!!
Front splitter with all the bits is about $1k and the wing is $4-5k, add the custom matte paint which was $8k for the CTSV it makes sense.
@@Lethalgarage oh I get it…… but nothing so unique about it to where I can’t make my 17 ZL1 appear very close to the same. Less the rear taillight update.
I had my hood on it wrapped with a black satin ppf. Looks killer imo.
With the paint cost at $8k that’s actually a good price. A very reputable shop would charge that or more for a vinyl wrap. And to have it custom painted from a different color💸💸💸💸
The front end 2019 SS was the nail in the coffin for me. Been all downhill since! Like they purposely made a hideous front end to kill the sales!
