    I cut out refined sugars last September. I am using an app that helps me watch my sodium. I walk at least 30 minutes a day. I do not drink alcohol. ❤

    Hello Dr i need some help. I am 3 yrs peri menopause and i have been having ringing in ears and hearing sensitivity and at times it feels like my ears want to pop which affects my hearing. Is this a peri menopausal symptom ? It has been bothering me for the past week and it is so annoying . I am so worried. Please reply it will be so comforting. Thank you

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Lisa
      It could be menopausal as falling oestrogen can affect our hearing and also the mucus membranes of the ear, however, it could also be unconnected so the first thing to do is get it checked out by your doctor. If all comes back clear then you know it may be the menopause and in which case you may find taking some Sea Buckthorn Oil capsules can help. Remember to drink plenty of plain water as dehydration can make this worse!

      Hi Anita
      Unfortunately, the liver can get extra stressed in the menopause so if you eat really heavy, spicy or fatty foods this can cause nausea. You may find taking the Milk Thistle Complex for a month or so can be of benefit. Drinking ginger tea can also work for nausea.
      The menopause itself, on average, can last about 5 years and most women will experience symptoms within this time frame. Symptoms often ease off as time goes by but if you are still struggling after 5 years then it is important to get a proper health check by your doctor just in case other issues such as low thyroid function, low vitamin D or B12, diabetes or heart disease are not contributing to symptoms.
      Best Wishes

    Thanks for another great video. Could you do a video on husband care during the transition.
    When I talk to my hubby about it, he seems to be wanting to understand, and at the same time, hoping this will go away.
    How can we include our partners in this journey without overwhelming them?
    I sometimes feel very pathetic. I don't want to turn so self-centered, but I am also struggle with RA type symptoms.
    Praying I get some health care soon, to diagnose and treat some of the symptoms that are erroding my quality of life.
    Love you and thanks.

      Trisha, I am going through and have gone through many symptoms of menopause. Firstly, I had a sit down with my beloved and explain to him that he cannot take my (mis) behaviour personal. I asked him for my personal space (whether in another room or just to meditate or play crossword) without intruding. I reassured him of my love for him except when Bad Dolly visits. I always try to be kinder to him when I am "normal." It has been a long road and he loses his cool sometimes as he has his own health issues but we pray about it. Finally, when I get priceless videos from angels like A. Vogel I ask him to listen, I found out that sometimes getting info from a neutral person is better received. I wish you better health as we go along our journey. Peace and blessings.

    Is there a connection between menopause and difficulty eating fried food, fatty food and meat? I know pregnant women have periods where food they normally eat make them nauseous. Is it the same with menopause?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 лет назад

      Yes, there certainly is! We do know that the changing hormones can stress the liver leading to nausea - it is actually a very common symptom! You may find taking the Milk Thistle Complex can be of benefit and just make sure that you don’t go long periods without either eating or drinking plan water; both low blood sugars and dehydration can trigger nausea too! www.avogel.co.uk/herbal-remedies/milk-thistle/

      Yes, although not so common, some women do experience low blood pressure. You may find the herb Hawthorn can help with this; it is rather slow to show benefits but can be effective. www.avogel.co.uk/herbal-remedies/hawthorn-crataegus/
