Hello Mark ,
I am a recent Subscriber to your channel...
Wanted to ask your opinion on a 2006 Freightliner/24 Ft. Box
with 230K Original Miles...
( Mercedes Benz Engine )
Not running @ the moment and was parked by owner due to Over Heating Issues...🧐
Also has some damage to Box and so Repair Was Quoted
@ $4,000 to $5000...😵💫
He will let me have it for $3,000 💵 with a Clean Title On Hand..! ((Truck Is Clean ))
Would you consider this a Good Price in today's market..?
Would appreciate your honest opinion ... 🙏
@@sovereignentity4924 Hello. Have you had it looked at by a mechanic or shop. Overheating could be simple as radiator but could be something else. How bad is the box damaged. Will it compromise the freight? $3k is bad if you want to take a chance.
@@markthementor
Thank you for feedback ..
@@sovereignentity4924 I meant to say $3k “isnt” bad. I would budget $10k in repairs. If it was just a radiator i don’t think they would have let it sit for something that minor. Sounds like more.
@@markthementor
Thank you for clarifying... 🙏
Don't have enough for repairs now but have just enough to purchase and store it...
Just though it may be good enough price to secure my first truck...
Just trying to find out what is the value of it if truck had
NO ISUES AT ALL..! 🤔
Good stuff! Straight to the point!
Thanks for watching!
Very important take. It’s eye opening
Very informative, great delivery
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Love this channel
Thank you as always! I appreciate you valuing the content!💯
I agree with everything you said. Excellent video! I will say, although buying is the best route, I think renting is definitely fine.. ONLY if your gonna go in this business with a real hustlers mindset. What I mean by that is, your really over the road not just local, making top dollar, on it 6 days a week, with a load there and back, you’ll definitely make over 100k profit in that rental as well. But like Mark stated, the objective is to TRANSITION! Definitely earned a faithful subscriber with this video bro.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching! Also thanks for the sub!💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💯
Great channel bro appreciate you 😊

Real Talk Man , your analysis is spot on. bottom line you cant come into this game renting .It will take to long to catch up. when I started renting was $500 to $600 a week this was in 9/2020. well that was the deal offered to me. Penske sent me new rental numbers a day ago .$ 1150 a week. miles not included. Thats anote.
Appreciate you watching! Thank you!💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Boy u a sharp individual

You are paying for maintenance but the fees are controlled which can be better in business.
Hey Mark I have investment capital to finance at least three trucks and I have three reliable drivers am I on the right track
If you have the capital and drivers ready then I would say yes.
How much is a good interest rate while financing a truck?
Hello. Thanks for watching! The lowest as possible. The commercial low of 6% these days is pretty much obsolete due to the government going up points on the banks. Me personally I would try to stick around 10-12% if possible. I’d be willing to go higher and aggressively pay the truck off in a year to curve a lot of the interest. Hope this helps. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Hey Mark this Tremayne from Milwaukee Wisconsin I was wondering could you assist me on obtaining my minority business enterprise certification and also I was pre-approved between 20-60k business loan should I take it to invest in my box trucks
Hello. How long have you been in business?
@@markthementor I just started I haven't gotten my feet wet in the business yet in still. Lining things up I have my LLC EIN and Duns number and business account as well I'll be purchasing my trucks either this month or next month
@@tremanyeedwards610 Ok. MBE you have to be a year in business to apply.
I don’t have the money for the down payment 🥺🥺.
Hello. Just start small with an account in your personal vehicle and set money aside to enter with a van or a truck.
I just started in the business. I’m going to gain experience then I’ll go for my own.
Ya lol that truck has been rented out over and over paid for forever
U a liar bro . U are not paying for maintenance if u rent from Ryder ,budget and Penske. U giving false info my boi..stop the 🧢
So whose paying for it then?
You don’t think the maintenance budget for the vehicle isn’t built into the cost of the rentals throughout the year. If you think that you don’t cover the maintenance cost of the vehicle built in to your rental cost you should go take a course in business.
U definitely don’t pay for cost of maintenance. Them trucks cost 4500 to almost 20k in maintenance repairs. U not even close. 4500 to 5k a month plus insurance ain’t bad on overhead if you making 20 to 30k a month. Especially if u starting from bottom
We gone be modest and say overheard on rental, insurance and gas be 10k a month right if you make 20k in 30days that leaves u with 10k profit that’s comes to 120k a year profit your first year . That ain’t bad with under 7500 start up cost and bad credit. So if you make 30k a month if your hustle strong that’s 20k a month profit.
And I apologize for calling you a liar on your platform, was better to say your info not accurate.
