You got to steal em from other route jobs. You see a landscaper/food/delivery truck full of workers ask em how much they get paid and offer more if it makes sense hand out some business cards. Pay the driver's like it's a gig job same system as the service industry. If someone is unreliable tell them to swap their shift with a backup driver and pay them extra and take the hit 🎯. Keep 3 backup driver for each route and keep em all in a chat room so everyone knows the schedule 👍👍👌
Yup you’re so smart! To think the way you Think . You must jump into your truck . My cousin brought 4 and had to give them back and brought a semi had to sell it . And kept 1 semi . He is Driving and was Driving. He can do flat bed or dry van . You also have to Flex with the Movement.
im rocking with you the channel genuine none of that hey its you boy with all the extra shit bro straight to it frfr with that being said thanks for the game
I'm thinking about buying a box truck for my own business, but I only need it a couple of times a month. Was thinking of just renting it to a driver for less than penske or Ryder would charge.
I am new into box trucks with a Tforce contract and was interested in advice on adding someone as a helper with me driving verses adding a helper that will drive their own vehicle What are your thoughts? I’m driving now solely and have No problem with that just wondering what is best for growth and/or assistance
How have things been going for you? I saw a posting for my area from Tforce and I have a truck from a family member I can put to use. I want to get some contracts and either drive myself or hire a driver. How has that been for you? Hope going great let me know!
hey quick questions im looking to join a leaseing program im haveing trouble finding company also i dont have cdl i was thinking leaseing of going the renting route from penske cant find any companie really need help
Hello. Thanks for watching. That all depends. If your running middle mile, you can pay per, mile per route, per day, per stop it’s all up to you. Final mile depending on what type of account, you can pay per piece, per stop, per day, per route. There is many different ways you can offer pay to a driver that best suited for your operation depending on the type of lane or account that your running.
@@markthementor I see a lot of job offers for owner operators. They range from 150-200k a year. If I buy a box truck could I then get the job listing and hire a employee to work that job?
do all owner operator brokers let you hire a driver for your truck? is there a way to go about it or you can be transparent about someone else driving the truck for you

Always!💯

Yup because working for someone else the pay maybe too low . The cost of living out here , it’s expensive!

My question is hiring company drivers, they don’t need their own DOT # right ? I just give them mine and give them loads
If they are your employees, they do not need authority.
We need a video on how to start a box truck business from start to finish
Thanks for watching. Look through my catalog. I think I did a video or stream on that already.
@@markthementor Awesome! I'll go check it out
How do I go about hiring a driver that I already have in mind?

this video came out a year ago... any different on hiring drivers? I"m about to purchase a truck soon...
Hello. Turnover rate for drivers right now is 100%.
Have to pay more or reduce the work load . only way to try and retain employees.
You always said to get in there and drive it yourself
Facts!!!
That’s Mark big help!
Ok... can you explain what happens with insurance wen it comes to hiring??
Hello. When you hire someone you need to have your insurance broker add the drivers to your policy.
