  • The Used 2003 Lexus GS 430 is offered in the following submodels: GS 430 Sedan. Available styles include 4dr Sedan (4.3L 8cyl 5A). The Used 2003 Lexus GS 430 comes with rear wheel drive. Available transmissions include: 5-speed automatic. The Used 2003 Lexus GS 430 comes with a 4 yr./ 50000 mi. basic warranty, a 4 yr./ unlimited mi. roadside warranty, and a 6 yr./ 70000 mi. powertrain warranty.
    The GS is the bad boy of the Lexus sedan family, the one with the most aggressive personality and most eccentric styling. Last year, the top-level GS 430 acquired a new 4.3-liter 300-horsepower V8 with 325 foot-pounds of torque. That extra boost propelled the GS 430 from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds, quicker than comparable models from Acura, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.
    While the GS 430 gets the headlines, don't underestimate the punch of the GS 300. With 220 horsepower from its six-cylinder engine, the GS 300 squirts from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.8 seconds. Both GS sedans are fun to drive and deliver impressive handling, supreme comfort, and typical Lexus build quality, which is consistently ranked among the best in the industry.

    Map / gps is a dinosaur in the GS. I have one and also have 2003 accord V6 6speed manual coupe, full package, their GPS has +10 years on the lexus's one. Accord in 2003 also touch screen and voice command, plus colors and display is way better. I'm amazed Lexus one sucks so bad vs Honda ...lol.. also accord smokes the GS 0-60... still enjoy my GS, but just saying not many know about those accords their limited 2 year production made some fast fun cars.

      Hi i have a question, i just got my license and looking for a first car, the gs 430 has really caught my eye, but now you saying that a Honda Accord 2003 is better is making me second guest, what would you think would be a good start car for me?

    • @pasha_houston
      @pasha_houston 2 года назад +1

      @@samuraiblur1801 I think accord is a winner for specially the first car. It's simpler and more economic engines set up V6 vs V8 in gs430.
      Note---- Of course both will depend on condition you find em in. But as far as economy : think about feeding v8 lex that supposed to drink 93 only vs V6 Honda you can fill with 87 gas, it's gonna get little pricy rn.
      Than there is the complexity of the GS430 engine - you got the vvti system in there that if is leaking seals is a huge and expensive job. Gs parts are also more pricey, less of them made so used parts are also rear.
      Accord interior (full package) has slick looking interior check images online. Or find my IG account you can pull up pic of my accord on there : graphT is my username.
      So it just makes sense to have the Honda.
      But to get you the other side : GS tops accord by having RWD and v8 smooth power and def status of a fancier car. The v6, accord is overlooked and underrated with FWD. But you can customize any car to be unique and yours.
      Congratulations on your license!

    That car looks very very tired and worn out. Carpet and door cards look manky. The only way that would feel luxurious is if the previous set of wheels was donkey and cart. Needs more than a wash. Needs stripping out and totally replacing door cards roof liner and carpets. Seats can be restored.
