Some company has to make VST plugin that has everything the neve 88rs has (not just channel strip but sends, master busses, complete monitoring, own automation system and even virtual patchboard allowing us to route signals from DAW to the virtual console). Basically something like CLA MIXHUB but extended to everything (not just channel strip). Then make DAW that emulates hardware midi sequencers, multitracks and so on. Then we will be happy to take a try on something that is at least a little like a hardware...
@@talkbackbutton Reason has no proper monitoring section i think, no PFL and AFL monitoring (SiP only), no pans for sends, no PFL metering from what i heard. Mixbus, not bad, but it still needs plugins for decend EQ and dynamics (EQ is not fully parametric, lacks Q knobs, compressor is very simple, not sure if it has any gate). I'd like to see something that emulates either Neve 88RS or Sony OXF-R3 (enteire console, not just channel strip). Could be possible to do whole console as VST and put it into any DAW, that would be the most reasonable option for console like experience.
I love watching your videos and just seeing the flow of how you systematically deal with tracks..adding top here and there, punching the compressors in at a certain point... Gosh I miss mixing on a console!
Hello Daniel, what is that function of the console where you press a button on the right side? And it sounds like if only has effects. You do it through out the video and at the 15:40 mark. Hope I make sense. Great videos!
That's a Slate Raven MTi Core Station. I was using it before I switched to my SSL analog console. The Raven is quite good, and I would definitely recommend it. I just don't have a use for it anymore.
If you like Rivermaker, they post live videos on Instagram.

Love watching you work...
Learning so much❤❤❤❤❤
Some company needs to make a FPP or VR game in which you take the role of a mixing engineer that has to save a record. xD
Sounds like a hit!

Hi Javier, thanks for the question! I'm switching between the rough mix provided by the artist and my mix to listen to the differences. Thanks again!
Daniel Duskin great, thanks for your reply!
Topppp
Do you make a different eq on each cannel of one track? And Dan pan left and right? Exiting effect.
What´s the console with the two monitor right at the beginning when you enter the room?
