If this clip get as many views as it does is because I cant stop coming back to it. I see a generation trying to recapture it's youth and not as nimble as they once were. Albeit still trying to capture those memories of what seems like an age. You're only as old as you're mind and they're all young minded still at heart. Thanks for the good times and keep on keeping on being what you are. You're gold dust 👍
I was working the Saturday Jazz Dance bar at the Rams Head, Disley as an 18-year-old in 1968. The DJ was doing his "THANG" and I was serving drinks when a lad about my age appeared, spinning on the floor. My jaw just dropped at his skill. That was my introduction to Northern Soul. I had loved soul music from Detroit for many years but had never visited the Twisted Wheel in Manchester down behind Picadilly Fire Station. I had only heard about it and walked by while at Openshaw College.
One word...Outstanding!!! I seen some folks 50-60 years old there, who have still got it, tearing the dancefloor up as though they are half their age. Awesome.

The perfect song to wake up to on a Monday morning.X
Fantastic. Love the opening of the lady dancing in the zone. My grandaughter is now copying her dance in my house at 11. I'm 60
I was a kid, into punk & ska, in the late 70s. But always loved the music and dancing of Northern Soul - Wigan Casino RIP
What lovely people enjoying themselves,
If this clip get as many views as it does is because I cant stop coming back to it.
Awesome.
I'm 65 on there
@@uppyraptor49 Ace !! :)
They ARE half their age.... most will say they they are 18-25 on the inside, it's the outside that's aged...
I’m 53 and live in London and never knew Northern Soul is so joyful and the dancing is incredible, reminds me of acid raves but better dancing
