Do you know how to find last rock to upgrade to 10? I been looking everywhere and no luck

Hi Shatter. Would you PLEASE be willing to help those of us who are completionists and make a step-by-step guide for all of the NPC questlines, so that nothing is missed in a single playthrough? For example, if you were to start a fresh, new playthrough, give us all of the steps for what to do FIRST, next, and so on so that nothing is missed? There is the Tortured Prisoner questline, Drustan, Iron Wayfarer, Andreas of Ebb, Tehk-Ihir, Stomund, Exacter Dunmire, Gerlinde and Sparky, Byron and Winterberry... Etc. Where if you miss a SINGLE STEP, you miss the entire questline and all rewards. So many of us are dying for a complete guide. Could you consider it?
@@leonshore4336 I would like to, but I need to play a lot more before I could confidently do that. I am already working on another guide series for BG3 (which I have played many times and am ready to make a complete guide series for) and so will be focusing on that for a while. I’m hoping they will patch some things in this game before I return to it.
If you finnish them of with an umbral finnisher, you will get an item drop 100% of the time. Just damage them enough first, then do the lamp-thingy and strike their soul to get them into that finnisher state.
never heard anyone say this and it helped so much. thank you
It helps with the drop being a bit more consistent. Thanks
“the lamp thingy”-😂 you’re awesome
So Soulflay em, wack em down to basically zero, & they’ll immediately be ready for a soul rip? (Basically just staggered & waiting-do a crit hit but this, cause of wither damage, will use the lamp?)
Edit; yep, that’s it, & damn I did not realize how much that helps with them dropping at least something
Thanks dude!👍✌️
I believe you must also be fully in the umbrella realm
Was this patched with Everything else 🤔
Subbed & Liked! Enjoyed the video! Good work! Nice voice over and video editing! You explained everything well and the video matched what you were talking about. So many channels don’t do this basic thing. Keep up the good work!
For the items the drop is so low, but is good to farm vigor and if you are lucky you are lucky
After you jump over the Congregator of Flesh’s lair there’s a vendor right there on the left so sells lucky paws. If you buy a couple of those every time to reach him in this loop, you’ll raise your chances of getting upgrade materials.
Awesome video btw :)
The vendor also sells a limited supply of the small fragments for upgrade (forget the name).
@@BreakingRadOfficial that lucking paws is so damn good. I've got a guaranteed drop of that Large Deralium every time I use one.
@@ivanilano6853 how long does the paw last?

How does the vendor Spawn there?
He isnt there for me
Best video I've found on upgrade farming💪💪 Much appreciated!
Great stuff man thanks for the guide! I'd also like to add, that I have found if you use the lucky rabbits foot (which can be bought at base) right before fighting the first large templar knight, it will last you the entire loop that you use it on if you keep a decent pace, it has sped up the farm considerably for me.
I was going to mention the rabbits foot as well since you could use the vigor you get from the loop to get them instead of leveling if you just want to focus on upgrading weapons.
Thanks. This run worked perfectly. I had been using a plus 3 weapon for hours and couldn't find any large shards. 😂
Nice info Man, simple, straight to the point & easy to understand.
Subscribed, Done! Can't wait to get more neet tips and tricks from your channel.
Great guide! Thanx for sharing!!!
What a fantastic guide and a refreshing take on how guides should be made. Easiest sub ever
I've already ran through this area many times when I was lower level. Should be much easier now, and I need some materials for Pieta's sword. I finally got enough shrimp to get my hands on it and retire the starter hammer.
I hate you for putting that in my head damn it really do look like that
@@heddgyemtix9784 haha I was just going to say the same thing.
It's official, they are shrimp
Thank you for the guide and a happy new year.
Happy new year!
The lucky paw worked a couple time’s, but I only saw a real difference one run through. This is a great farm. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you sincerely for this ❤
Tip: You can target and soulflay and pull the archer off the bridge
Or you can just simply not leave Umbral too.
Excellent video !
Dudeeee! Thank you for this! I’ve been trying to farm the ruiner enemy for large stones that is in the area shortly after Calrath boss…. And I find him to be so brutal to try and farm as his fire buffed crap is absolute bullshit 😂… looking forward to running this farm after work! Thanks again and you have another subscriber 🤙
Great guide, thank you sir.
A much better run gaining more than the AFK farming. Thanks for the upload much appreciated 👍
Goated guide. THANK YOU
Very nice!
Awesome vid thanks
Thanks man i used your spikey head dude farm to it worked very well i was able to kill him in about 25 seconds each go in the end
The best part of your video is the cat with the Elden Ring music at the end.
I use that same area to farm but I put down a seedling in the area past the crossbow guys to the left once you pass over the bridge. It’s a super quick run and seedlings can be bought easily so why not burn one when you need to farm.
Thanks for this, for real! I saw this ladder and thought I would come back to it. Forgot all about it. I am at the second boss in this area, some dude on horseback and am having trouble. Weapon is at +2 so I had to find a way to get the mats. All the other vids state going to an area that has fire everywhere. Well that is not where I am or have been so I needed this. Big ups to Marshmallow.
Yep, regular nuggets drop starting from The Gorge - after the hushed saint boss fight.
You’re expected to fight that fight with +2 weapons, max.
You can do it! Feel like it’s more of a fight of patience than dps!
@@Regianldo56 The Avowed drop them at the Sanctuary vestige, takes about 30-40 minutes to farm enough to +5 a weapon
Need to try this. :)
Nice vid, thanks for time stamps
thanks for the guide and I am happy your cat didn't go hungry!!
I just got here last night and noticed the drops. Didn't piece it together that this was an infinite loop farm but I know what I'm doing later, thanks!
Thanks Bro!
Crazy good video
I personally just go to the umbral at the start of the run, and stay in it all the while - Then jump into the boss arena and circle back to the lantern. Good way of farming plucked eyeballs as well, as a lantern almost always spawns and sets itself to one of the smaller enemies.
What a goat!!! I was struggling lol 😂now time to farm and get stronger and better 😅
Think you can omit the stronger part. Just get better.
Dunno how cheesing the game is ‘fun’.
Thanks bro
Leading down the hill where the 3 bandits are (to the left, instead of going right as you say) will lead to a place where you can plant a temporary visage. I did that, and used it to keep resetting the big guy at the top. I'm not sure if it was more efficient, but it felt like it was.
If anything, if you prefer short runs, then you might want to try this out.
That’s exactly what I did. It’s a super efficient run!
Thanks for the guide! By any means can you tell me what armor your are using?
Thank you
thanks bro
there is a seed bed you can plant down the hill to speed this process up. Thanks
Thans!!
This video right here let me upgrade so many weapons. The drop chances were wildly high and I’m not sure if it had to do with my level being on the higher side(70). My newer character has lower chances it seems, but the farm goes hard regardless. Thank you
Thanks
You can just kill the 2nd bulwark mob and rope back down to the bottom left, which leads to a ledge you can jump off and return to the fens vestige. That's far more efficient than warping.
Awesome video 👍🏻 unlike the rest of these clickbait clowns your videos are legit
GO into the Umbral! This made a HUGE difference on deralium drops at the Empyrean for me. Dont think it was mentioned.
Hey this is great guide. You should be able to speed it up though by using a seed in the boss chamber at the end of the run. Just fall down the hole and teleport. You’ll survive the run every time (or so I believe). That should save 10-15 seconds.
Thx
thanks for the guide I don`t know if this has been reported in the comments but if you backtrack a little bit from the mountain path you will arrive almost in top of the vestige when the farming began
Shit thanks man this is actually gonna help so much!
W vid ty
Nice farming spot ❤
Is the Holy Bulwark Mace (drops from the big guy) any good?
I prefer farming at the Hallowed Brothers Leprosarium. Somehow I got there before I reached lower calrath. It has 5 soldiers for normal shards and one big dude for the large shard.
Ive been halfway thru the game and idk that we can upgrade the weapons, make it a hardcore game... Thanks alot new sub here
Same lmao definitely earned a sub what a goat for this video
Leaving a comment!
vov ty bro very nice
Yes, there is a question. Do you know how to cure a stone maiden without magic?
Lol I've been doing this long before this video existed. I was wondering if anyone else figured it out yet. Although you are going the wrong way after you kill the second bulwark go back down the hill kill the 2 archers and melee infantry then continue to run down the hill and boom the same vestige is right there 😂 no need to run twice as far and warp to get back
How do you upgrade boss weapons? I have Pieta sword and it wont let me upgrade pass level 4 with this method of farming. It says I need a material i don't know what it is.
Hey Shatter before you fight Adyr at the end, where the Ruiner is before you go up the stairs there’s a place nearby to set a vestige and the ruiner drops the 2nd hardest fragment, can farm him over and over
Спасибо 👍
I think the exact opposite direction of this same route is better for my caster build. I get to surprise all of the enemies and never need to use umbral realm
I did this run on the 23rd of October for at least 45 minutes to an hour probably more at 2 different times and I only ever got small and regular deralium, mostly small and not many normal and maybe I got one large? But that was it after over an hours and a half and that while use the rabbits foot so this farm seems to but either patched otlr just not real? Very annoying but what can you do. I'll look for some other guides instead.
How many times did you guys do the run before you got your first shard? I went through 6 times and didn't get a single shard
same here
To get a better chance of drop if you buy some of that item called lucky paw gives a increase drop rate of that merchant Thehk-Ihir for 500 each at the beginning of forsaken fen area that should help but sadly the effect stops after resting.
How if just teleport to forsaken again?
@@SoulS467 you just go to a vestige or a temp vestige you put down the option is Warp to Vestige on there then choose forsaken fen if you got that area.
Doing exactly that tomorrow morning 2h straight. I’m level 53 and 32 strength hope that’s decent enough to clear them out. My weapon is +5 at the moment but I wanna respec to Pieta Sword when I get this weapon upgrade.
I think you should be able to handle them fine with those stats/levels and weapon
Where is you health lol
I think rabbits foot will help with the farming as well
is this patched ? i just farm for an hour and dont got one large one
How do i get to forsaken fen ? Where is it located?
I am kinda overleveled ,i am heading to calrath as orian preacher level 89 😅 with an already pieta's sword +7
And the reason that i am that high level is because i left my nephew around 4-5 hours to farm on pilgrim area while i was sleeping and eventually after i got up the little fella did managed to gather around 100-110k vigor 😂😂 and some mats
Wayyy over kill my dude… and here’s me entering the area with lvl 28 🥲
Thanks for the guide but I can confirm that this farming spot has been nerfed. You can still get those materials but the drop chances are pretty low. I made 10 runs today on Xbox and 'only' received 2 large and 3 medium upgrade shards with this rabbit foot equipped.
what about the CHUNK Deralium? Where can we find that, thanks! =D
Will make a video once I find out 👍🏻
There’s one in a chest after the crow boss in the snow area.
I used Charmed paw gives 100% drop i think because i managed to get 2 from it
+ 9 I'm at lower calrath and i only have 1 weapon to +2 definitely not enough material drops just playing normally. Don't even have any normal stones
I got decent drop rates the other day, today's drop rate is ass. Maybe 8 large in an hour yesterday. Today I farmed for 2.5 hours and got 4...
Is there any area or enemies in pilgrims that drop the 1-3 stones?
many enemies will have a small chance to drop the small fragments. Not sure beyond that though as far as Pilgrims perch goes.
You can get the +3-5 in the sanctuary vestige. Literally the first vestige you get after you get to Skyrest. Spawn at the vestige. There are 3 avowed mobs (ones with the mace) one sitting on the stairs, 2 on the wooden platform. Kill them, check for loot. Rest and repeat. 30 seconds each run.
I had no idea these guys dropped large upgrade materials. I'm probably half way through the game and still only have a +6 weapon lol
Do boss weapons require different upgrading materials like somber stones in elden ring?
Good question. I don't think so, but I think it requires the large shards for lower level upgrades.
@@ItsShatter thank you
Boss weapons only goes to +5... +1 needs 4 small, +2 needs 4 regular, +3 needs 4 large, +4 needs 8 large, and +5 needs deralium chunk.
boss weapons use the same materials but can only be upgraded to +5 instead of +10
Use lucky paws and this is twice as efficient
🔥💪👍
Nice spot
Thanks for the generous donation Shorin! Hope you have a great day!
Where can you buy it farm the anti poison? Trying to kill the knight with bad breath 😂
30 (10 of them with lucky paw/charmed paw) runs and 60 big anointed knight kills later: 1 large shard. Doesnt work
Where did u find the fitroy’s sword?
Will probably make a video on that soon!
Check my most recent upload!
@@ItsShatter thx men i love that sword
Where you find the key for the shortcut in the swamp?
No key just open the door
@@supersayian193 damn hate this level
@@mfdrama2060 bro literally I just ran from the vestige to the door ducking and weaving my way around lol but this game isn’t too hard anymore once I decided to start talking combat slower since most of not all their moves are telegraphed and very easy to read just do the simple side step dodge for most attacks and don’t attack right away after they swing watch the attack patterns makes a real difference let them attack for a bit to see what moves they got then act accordingly, you will see this isn’t that hard
@@supersayian193 yeah bro i open the door and beat the boss of swamp.peace
❤
buy the rabbits foot from the traveling vendor then do a rotation. It will generally get you 1-2 of each mat per run.
In an hour less you should have the mats you need for your weapon. Just dont die, it goes away if you die.
So once u use the foot, it will keep goin even if u use the teleporter thing? Or every time you start the run you have to use a foot?
@@gregorybarrera8719every run you have to use a foot
How do I find this vestige
It's along the main path in the game. The order of vestiges is Sepulchre - Village - Windmill - Sanctuary - Bellroom - Lookout - Fen.
Not sure which one you are currently at, but I hope this helps!
The drop rate for small and medium deralium is atrociously bad, so many runs without a single drop. Large Deralium drops quite a bit from the big guys tho.
Yeah there might be better farms for the small/regular. Or you can buy those from the merchant/smith NPCs pretty early on too
Luckily you don’t need much of those to upgrade weapons. You mostly just need the large stuff!
Going for my 19th run and haven’t gotten a single large piece so yeah idk about that because I have nearly 100 of the first two pieces but like 1 large piece
I probably got at most 3 of each of the small pieces, but enough large ones to get my Pieta's Sword to +4. I guess we're all at the mercy of weird RNG.@@DanielMurray-mi7zr
lvl 60 to 72? oh man, I in this location at lvl 30's (amost 40)
well, power level and farm.
Edit: I use this way, lvl up my weapons but I change a bit:
the second buckguy I done, return, kill two crossman and the mace dude, kill the phantom at end of the slope and roll for the beginning of the run, I kill the dudes arrond the bonfire too, all in umbra for extra vigor and better time, is realy good, congrats!
(I will post my rotte and a tip for low level players)
I tried but didnt work, maybe fixed
farming this material only allows to upgrade the weapons to +4. to upgrade it to +5 you need a different material not the large deralium shard
If it’s a boss weapon it only has up to +5. These materials can upgrade regular/non boss weapons to +9
Genuine question:
I understand people wanting to switch weapon and get the materials needed to pump it up to the level of their current weapon.
However, if you just got to the swamp area and are already farming for a +9 weapon. You’re literally ruining the fun and challenge of the game for yourself, no?
Isn’t it better to naturally get stronger by entering regions that have static drops of said materials first? So you feel the power surge naturally… instead of just ‘oops, I want +9 and One Shot the next 15 bosses’
Because… that literally sounds like the opposite of fun.
Play the game how you want. Everyone has their own definition of fun.
Is there a Level-Cap for Matchmaking ? (Like Dark Souls) ...my weapon is +4 and the Host Weapon is +0
...does that work ? Sorry for my bad English...✌️😃
I think it should be ok
They rarely drop anything at all. Let alone upgrade material. My swords needs large shards for a +3. With this pace i need to farm 24h to get it +9 lol
Are you sure you don’t need regular shards for +3? What sword is it?
I had one long spell where I hardly got any drops from them for like 20-30 min but besides that I was getting 1 large shard every 2-3 runs on average
It’s called farming bro. If it was easy everyone would do it. Just have to be persistent my guy.
@@ItsShatter yes. Its Pieta’s sword. It’s +2 and needs large shards
@@ItsShatter thats crazy. I really didnt get anything. Not even the healing or mana items. Only very veryyy occasionally. 0 shards tho
I did this run for 30 minutes and only got fragments
I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully they haven’t nerfed it…
It could just be bad luck. It’s going to happen to at least some people. It’s the law of large numbers.
When I make it past Bloody Mary I will come back. Me and my toothpick and paper plate of a shield. 🤨😂
Does this still work. 😢
im sure they fixed this...
