I know exactly what you mean. I love feeling the texture of my natural hair and seeing it her fully and longer over times. I’v been transitioning for about 2 years. I can’t wait until all the old texture is gone.
It was never relaxed, but damaged from using silicon products with heat. There is about 3 inches left. I cut a little every month. So over the next 6 months it should be all gone. I’m patient enough to wait it out. Thank you.

Kudos to you, I was way too impatient to transition. When do you plan on cutting the relaxed hair off?
