These two were probably the friendliest to each other
How is the usual treatment toward competitors then?
tango whiskey ignore each other and talk about the competition
especially with 50Gs on the line
They must be canadians
tango whiskey they are all nice and good. But these folks are even nicer to each other 😂
I see 2 forge champions. This guys make a pretty good job so far
Привет, комрад
felt a Dead by daylight reference around here...
@Philip Tucker moi aussi j'assume mon langage petit poulet.
J aime cette émission et effectivement je dirais qu'il n y a pas de perdant. Les deux nodachi sont efficaces.
Hadhafang Chambourssy ouai cet émission est trop bien
Same maybe 25k each
Tbh we’re all here to see if it will keel
????
NOS the way the Asian judge says kill
I am so tired of this comment. You can do better, man.

Sirius Black I am so tired of haters
I absolutely love how friendly everyone in this show is it’s so great how they compliment each other in non-sarcastic ways and I love it
What do you expect from gentlemens who loves they're crafts, forging or using swords and weapons they're surely disciplined for sure

Contestants that call out their flaws and compliment another’s blade. I like it a lot, however, someone needs to practice pot smashing from Link.
Too bad they wont respawn when you leave the room and come back...
narlycharley lol
Most importantly.. it wil KEEL!!
This is stupid to always comment that. No offense to you, just find it old. Seriously no offense
It is also stupid he says it every episode about every weapon🤣
But most importantly... it wil keel!!
pepeLaugh IT WILL KHEEL
Keal**
I feel like it's more of a "kyel".
Dave Parthmour: I just won 50 thousand dollars
US Government: You win that on a game show? Thanks for the 25k champ.

Taxation is theft. Come & take it Government.
Taxes vary from state to state, but the amount won would lose a nice chunk. Here in Michigan it’s 20%, so Uncle Sam would take 10k. Unless it’s a direct deposit... 😉
@@SoulKiller7Eternal yeah... Yo know they will come and get it right?

This was the best one I saw. The competitors were super friendly compared to others, and they were all pretty successful
Both these guys are nice dudes tho not gon lie 🤔
What's with the thinking emoji?

The Japanese text literally meant "Drink, Ovaltine" and "Please watch knife or death".
I was wondering who else got this lol.
What the hecc? LOL THAT'S HILARIOUS
0:40 this is some Master Yi technique XD
he went full KEEL mode
alpha strike xD
The swords are more yasuo-like to me lol
I was expecting to see the keel guy come out with a random hasaki
It's ultra instinct xD
@Emocaide he said technique, not the blade.
When you have a great attitude and such awesome moustache, you’re already a winner. $50k was well deserved Dave!
Spoiler!!
Ultra Instinct Doug 0:40
How? Ultra instinct is avoiding and dodging instinctively
Blaze it’s a joke fam chill. 😂
Blaze it looks like the animated movements btw which is what I’m sure he was talking about
More like ultra leg spasms.
More like transam from gundam series
Kensei wants to know you location
Been waiting for someone to make this reference.
They should do a claymore or Dane axe something big like the nodachi
Wait a minute. I thought the Kensei used a nagamaki.
@@genghiskhan6809 Nope. Kennsei uses a Nodachi.
@@genghiskhan6809 It's a nodachi. It has a very long handle for a nodachi, but it's not long enough to be a nagamaki. A nagamaki handle must take up at least half of the overall length, a nodachi handle usually takes up a 5th to a 3rd of the overall length.
When the judge asks the blade smiths ‘Are ya ready?’ Imagine one of them saying ‘Nah, can I sharpen it a bit more.
It really is cool to see Ben go from contestant to two-time champion, to judge. It really says a lot about both his skill as a smith and his reputation in the industry for them to ask him to be a judge.
Watching it wobble after hitting something gives me anxiety
True, but most swords have special undulation points on the blade so that all of those vibrations dissipate before they travel up your arm. I'm pretty sure it should be where the center of balance is for most conventional longswords, but I might be wrong.
Well most of the time you'll only see it in slow motion. Also it wobbling like that shows how flexible it is so if anything the sword will develop a warp or bend instead of breaking and flying off
2:06 that pole literally says "drink Ovaltine" wtf lmfao
the other one says "ナイフや死を見てください" which should be "bewere the knife and death" but think that the や isn't the correct particle
@@skumm420 や isn't incorrect, but it's a trickier particle. や and と(the particle that'd sound better here) are similar, but the difference is that や is used when you're listing some examples and not the complete list while と means that what you're listing is complete.
Examples
梨や林檎が好き = I like pears and apples (but not just those two as implied by や; those are just two examples of fruits I like)
シャツと靴を買った = I bought a shirt and pants (and only those two)
In this case using や, it's saying beware of the knife and death (but not just knife and death).
green apple oh good, thought it was only used like when you are listing some things but don’t say everything and end the phrase with etc... like apples, bananas, pears, etc...
You can see the passion on both bladesmiths. Kudos to both of them and the show.
He forgot to say Korede shimaida during the side heavy
Yeah casual plebs don't know how to play Kensei
I mean, not even a soft faint! He still got through whithout zones, I admire that.
Hi Clem
@@nauticalgaming2256 clem grakata!
I like Dave's work.
His Nodachi is thicker & doesn't wobble too much.
Good for on foot and on horseback against Cavalry.
Watching Dave did his work, both here and the previous episode, was such an enjoyable experience. The way he does things is a good example for newbies to emulate.
He also made a small joke about... dainty hands. Hahaha. That cane out if no where.
This always makes me want to watch Deadliest Warrior
god i miss that show
Rip. You ever play the game?
Yeah, i remember buying Microsoft points from my birthday money so i could get it lol
Terrible show
@@IchigoKurosaki011 wrong
Wielding a huge sword is a lot of work, and it shows in how sweaty the wielder was after some swings.
I just love his reaction in the end, he was so shocked
The way Doug just says "it will keeel" with the most devious smile
4:45 "Only one can be our Champion , now fight till death "
its impressive how they made a nodachi in just 5 days, cuz i saw some video where a traditional made Nodachi cut 4 ded pigs in one swift cut.
Let's admit, Doug is the best judge.
Well he is a weapons expert as well as a weapon martial artist
Was figuring a good odachi build for my video game and ... now I'm watching this
That was a very close one. Both weapons performed very well. It's just those protruding pins and the damage in the strength test that made the difference.
"But most emportently it will KELL" 👏
It protecc
It attacc
But most importantly IT WILL KEEL
Well hello there overused meme comment, we meet again. Now please crawl back down the pit of doom...
Kushagra Saxena It doesn't even rhyme, your meme makes no sense.
Both seem like two pretty good guys. Congratulations both swords looked amazing
I’m glad that one of the previous champions became a judge
Well deserved, his been strong through out the competition.
These guys were great, awesome display of sportsmanship and both master craftsmen, couldnt have been an easy decision
It must be the best to have that look and him saying it will kill or compliment you
I like how the other dude just snap vanishes when Dave is announced winner.
When both contestants were holding the blades, I anticipated that they would be fighting 1 on 1.
I just realized the song they play in the background when they talk to the person who won is “Stay Now” By All Good Things...good stuff.
thank you sir
Congrats dude
I love this show man!
Doug is my new nightmare with his
,,It will kill,, and his smile
That one was pretty close, i was curious to know who is gonna win all the video, they are both did a great job. This battle is of the strongest ones i have seen in this show so far!
Good job.
He atacc
He protecc
But mostly
He *Keel*
It was difficult to choose a winner in this latest test. Those were 2 amazing swords!
this things are f****** awesome
Doug using the Nodachi is so cool. He looks like a samurai.
Wow it was so close between this 2 balades i did not see that coming Nice job forgeins
These people are so polite wtf why isn’t everyone like this
One day someone will lose and they will literally cleave everyone in the room
Both weapons performed amazing
dude ive been looking for a nodachi vid for ages
i literally cheered when he won! i thought the pig test would throw him off i’m so happy for him!
I saw many movies with sharp swords but this does put a smile on my face :]
For having watched a coupled of theses videos, basically you get to loose either because your blade snap or because of the handle. Take time to work on the handle too.
Sharpness rest after dulling the blade haha. Fun show!
"Alright, Nicholas. The feel of your weapon is great. I can get an accurate swing with little effort. However, the construction is basically a 2x4 with a nail through the end, which makes it uncomfortable to hold. Most importantly though, it will keel!"
I love Nodachis, beautiful swords.
Comes down to the little things like pins.
These are the longest swords I've ever seen!!! Wild!!!
I just wanna say they both did epic jobs at making amazing blades and at the same time amazing handles. They looked almost completely historically accurate, down to the handle wrap I think I even saw ray skin on one. Unlike the katana episode where they both looked ridiculous from the tsuba down
I like that Dave guy, he says what he thinks 😂
Not to get weird, but anyone check those cheekbones on Dave? Man handsome, bruh! Also, really appeciated how lovely both gents seemed and how evidently skilled they were with their craft.
Very close, it was either the rolls or pins that tipped it in the guy who won’s favor
i get notified just to hear it well keel
That was closer than most of these head to head comparisons
Who won? Who won???? THE MAN WITH THE AWESOME MUSTACHE! !!!!!
Nooo I haven’t watched it yet
Miya J u go to the comments first?
iiKvngADon yes💀
But why? I never do cuz of spoilers, unless the video isn't loading.
These guys are so wholesome :D
I’m very happy that guy won

“Only one of you can be our champion” “Now fight each other to the death”

Your blade is a little on the heavy side but it is VERY sharp and with that...it will kill *smile*
Love how the blue shirt guy said" it'll kill " lmao after criticizing the blade he always says the same
Actually at least once he said it will not keel
I love Dave and I’m happy he won
I was rootin for dave too so I'm happy.
The no explanation kinda killed it for me
Most importantly... it will cut

who else is waiting for the moment when the loser gets so frustrated iver the judges decision that he just uses his weapon on the judges and his opponent turning the scene into a bloody mess lol
That's the true kill test.
And then the weapon breaks xd
All the judges carry blades; haven't you noticed?
My money is on the Brit.
One of those judges used to do a gun show. I don't think the contestant would get far.
SWORD FIGHT
it well Keel!
Dough is having too much fun
He did not win! He earned it! Great job on both.
Tbh the inconsistency in the swings is glaring..the man was raising his arm a little higher in the first part of the water bag sharpness test
I'm from SEA, my grandfather have 2 Nodachi from ww2. Its heavy asf.
