Hi Colby Scott, Good note. Of course, our battery is used with a 65Lb motor, so these cables should last. Thank you for mentioning that anyone who is watching this video and wants to build such a battery should take this into account. Carp Priests.

Hi Jeroen Jeroen, Unfortunately, the case we used in the video is nowhere to be found, because it was ordered from the Slovak site... it no longer offers it for sale. Carp Priests.
Hi Nebojsa Cubra, in the video we used cables marked 15 AWG if you use the American table, or for easier searching use the diameter ø1.45mm / ø57.1thou (1.65 mm² / 2560 thou²). In any case, you can use cables with different diameters, depending on battery usage. For our cells, the continuous discharge is 3CA, which means 3 * (ampere value of the cells) / 3 * 90Ah = 270A continuous discharge. Depending on that, you will choose the right cable diameter. Carp Priests.
Hi Francis Okezie, Sorry, but the suitcase in which we have it was ordered from the local site in Slovakia. It can no longer be found on this site. Carp Priests.
S pozdravom, Carp Priests.
Hi Deneys, Thank you for your comment. We use the usual LiPo charger IMAX B6 AC 80W B6AC (www.aliexpress.com/item/32955178244.html) for charging. This has a maximum output current of 6A, but if you need to charge the battery faster, you can also use a stronger charger. We personally use this, because it does not produce large voltage fluctuations even during longer charging, as is usually the case with car chargers. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. Carp Priest.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We wish you good luck with your future assembled batteries. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. Carp Priests. :)
Hi Roy Xavier, thank you for your feedback. The case that we used to build the battery was purchased from our local website Minučák.sk (www.municak.sk/). Specifically, they no longer have the case we used on the site, but you can use any case that will meet the dimensions. See the dimensions of one battery cell and adjust the dimensions of the case according to the number of battery cells purchased. If you buy exactly the battery cells that we used in the video, then you need the dimensions of the case, at least 17x12.7x19.2cm. But you also have to take into account the space for the BMS module. If you want to use the same components as us, you have to keep a reserve over the battery cells, as the switch is quite high as well as the terminals. If you require any further information, feel free to contact us. Carp Priests.
Hi christophe dana, I have translated your comment so I will hope to answer the questions you are asking correctly. We used 4S BMS 150A. We recently replaced it with a waterproof BMS because it has no protection against external influences in the video. You must now select the parameters according to the battery usage. The second question you asked. The wiring diagram in this video is for connecting 4S BMS with separete ports. You will find a lot of information on the Internet. If you have more questions, feel free to contact us. Carp Priests.
Hi The ForgottenMan, The box we used in the video was from our local Muničák website (www.municak.sk/). Unfortunately, they no longer have this product in their e-shop. A few times we found a similar copy on the Internet (Wish, AliExpress). But you can use another one, just be careful if you want to use it outdoors (electric motor on the boat, etc.) to buy a waterproof box. * If you find a good similar box, if we could ask you to send us a link and we'll add it to the description. * Carp Priests
Hi Tom IV, thanks you for your comment. The answer to your first question is, that we wanted to differentiate the cables by colour so that the watcher could look more closely at the scheme, because the goal was not only to show the battery to a more knowledgeable electrician, but also to those who are laymen and want a better battery. And the answer to your second question. We did not measure the continuous current during the test, because it seemed unnecessary to us, because everyone can see the specifications of the LiFePO4 cells given by the manufacturer. The manufacturer states a maximum constant discharge current of 3CA (about 270A). We apologize if you wanted a more accurate test. Thanks for your response, and we'll try to fix the shortcomings in the future.
@@carppriests69Also, Which BMS did you get the 50a common port or the 150a separate? I want to copy the build you guys have made if you could just share where you sourced the container you used to put that battery in as well that would be a huge help! keep up the great content and looking forward to more videos!
Hi, sorry for the late reply. - We used a 150A separate BMS port in this kit. - We ordered the case that we used in the video from the Slovak website Muničák (URL address here: www.municak.sk/plastovy-box-vodotesny-26-7-x-23-9-x-17-6 -cm-olive-27163), to which were also foam fills. If you won't understand the language, translate it into Slovak language, or write to us here or by email. Thank you for your positive feedback. Have a nice day.
Hi Kevin Mills, Yes, we also experienced it a few times. We always recommend that you do a small research about the product on some forums or videos before making a purchase. Carp Priests.
Aliexpres is the most deceptive web site for internet shoppers, they keep the money for 4 months before they return the money back to you because many of this seller don't shipped the item. I don't recommend this people, don't trust them.
Hi Joe Reyes, I think that's a pretty subjective opinion. I'm definitely not saying that all AliExpress products are of high quality, so even in our case we have been deceived many times. We were happy with the cells used in the video and we used them many times in different builds. We always recommend that you do a small research about the product on some forums or videos before making a purchase. Carp Priests.

But what about the isolation between the elements?
I might recommend large gauge wire. Trolling motors can require up to 6ga wire. Wouldn't want the battery pack to be the weak link.
