Looks like Alex has a red Stumpy goat. Nice ride and conditions looked firm and no dust. Hitting my local loop right now. It is 18 degrees with just a dusting of snow. Crispy goodness.
Recovering from back surgery wishing I could be out riding. Living vicariously through your vids, thanks for dropping them! That ride looks incredible.
Hawes used to be my home trail system when I lived in Mesa. I try to visit every winter or spring. Love all the new trails. Excellent shred clips. Cheers
I ride it weekly and the bottom half is very flowy and in my opinion it is the most enjoyable trail in the Phoenix Metro. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
That was sick boys! Love that trail, between the exposure, the boulders, and all the cacti, a person wouldn't want to run off an inch. Dig the track time in the bimmer, looks like you got the best out of those tires, haha. Cheers!
Another nice flow ride and video Nate . A couple of close turns or run into cactus on that ride lol some at knuckle level . I hope that is one accident I never have happen
I loved racing with NASA SE! I was surprised to see the intro lead into that, thought I clicked on the wrong video, ha..Found mtbx late in life and it has been a fine substitute for my racing days. As always, enjoying the vids! Btw, my the avatar is from the Daytona Farris wheel.
Alex races with two local AZ clubs, NASA and Proautosports. He wins a lot of races and is great as a coach as well. I met him through auto racing and he told me he is a Mountain Biker, I said, "yeah me too", but he's a bit faster than I ever was. Like a lot of bits.
Nice! 1) Did you get a chance to try out the new double black Sunset Ridge Trail (I think you keep going straight @ 1.13)? If so what did you think? 2) Generally speaking how do you find the "kitty litter"?
Sunset is entertaining in a janky sort of way. The kitty litter feels pretty normal for Phoenix but it definitely takes a few turns to remember the squirmy feeling.
A run down from the radio towers to mid-Hawes, Saddle (maybe Secret too), and then down Mine trail is a classic run. I hope we get to see some of the older trails too! The new stuff is solid though. I snapped a pivot bolt (on my Pivot....haha) on one of the sharp right handers on Iron Goat last spring. Those jumps are great fun though. Was worth it.
Yo Nate....just came across your channel and been watching a ton of your vids the last few days! Killer footage man! Question for you regarding gear and shooting. What view mode on your GoPro are you shooting? wide? super view? and are you using the horizontal leveling? chest mount? 4k 30fps? Thanks!
@@alexptdmg depends how many track days a year you do on a daily driver. Also, you're not utilizing a tire's potential when your burning up the edge. Right hand turns are slower than they could be.
@@AppleJack76 the race car is the race car. The M3 went on track twice and it s only when there is someone to take in. It can use camber for sure and those were ils runflats tires

Go for it!
YEAH!!! My home trails. Lots of new goodies out there for you to try. Nice Job, hope you enjoy them.
Loving your back yard!

Heal up amigo!
Looks like you got some post rain Incredidirt!! Great run. I need to get down there!
Moist kitty litter FTW
That looked like a very cool ride. Seeing the “Sky Islands” off in the distance very cool!
Always wondered what Hawes was like…now I know! 👍
Riding my daily trail! Glad to see you smashing it.
Love your daily.
Great watch as usual, some nice flow on that trail, great work 👍
Car shedding is always a good time!!
No question! Anything that goes fast is fun, turns out.
Wow. What a fabulously flowy and scenic trail! Great vid 🤙🏼🤘🏼
So rad you guys rode RMR!!! Favorite trail in Phoenix for fun/flow!
Rad bit of trail.
Hawes used to be my home trail system when I lived in Mesa. I try to visit every winter or spring. Love all the new trails. Excellent shred clips. Cheers
It's not fair for Alex to have two trampolines for tires. Sick video and super fun trail
That s what Fox suspension does 😉
The trail could be called “just say no to cholla”. Wow, what a beautiful ride.
This trail looks awesome. Some of the most flowy trail you've featured on FCF.
I ride it weekly and the bottom half is very flowy and in my opinion it is the most enjoyable trail in the Phoenix Metro. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
You always start with the best music man! I almost wished it went through the whole video!
Alex spends more time in the air than on the ground during that lower section! Dirt looked to be in just killer shape.
We were fortunate to get this one with some moisture in the ground.
Love to ride mountain bike in this weather!
The best!
Looks awesome! Can’t wait to ride there as I’m moving from western slope of Colorado to just south of Mesa. Keep up the shredding videos
Enjoy!

Probably my favorite trail in the valley!
Wish it was warm here, Nate you send it for everyone on Friday's! I saw Pete on that Instagram he's amazing too!
Pete is still hanging in there. 17 years young.
My backyard trails! RMR is so fast when the dirt is good after a rain. My new SB130 handles it beautifully
Indeed. We were lucky to get RMR with a bit of moisture in the ground. So good!
Hawes has some sweet trails!
No question.
wow kinda of a pipe dream day, racing fast cars on a track, then a sick mtb ride? Lucky man you are.
All of the best things.
Love that area! 👍(especially this time of year 😏)
Us too!

Always fun times on the track!
Great trail and flow ride!
My favorite trail in phx!

Hoping that Sunset Ridge is next week?! Fun to watch when it's on my local trails🤘
You just never know what Friday might bring.

That's awesome Nate🤙
Did you get a chance to ride Sunset ridge yet?
that is FLOW !!!
No one does it better than Alex.
I hope you guys did a lap on Sunset Ridge too? Nice footage
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Grandes 💪🏽🚵
Hammerheads...! Rippin it up...
Great ride, Nate, you make it look easy. I like to burn the rubber off my 911, so much fun.
Tires were meant to die!
wherever y'all going....looks like a long way back! :)
It's a decent pedal back.
You gotta talk Alex into getting a Yamaha R6 out on to that race track.
Dynamic!

Very Nice Location FREERIDAY :)
should have named it "cactus punch"
Don"t forget Big Sister.
That was just getting finished up when we filmed this.
First!
Someone needs camber setup advice before a track day.
This one is a daily driver.

Sounds like Jack wants to race, lol.
@@alexptdmg understood. Good method to use up tires that you don't like. I see camber plates in the M3's future.
