- Hawes in Mesa, Arizona has the best views of any Phoenix trail that I've ridden. Two of the most popular trails, High Ridge and Red Mountain Rush are predominantly downhill flow trails - super fun, IF you can manage the questionable traction of kitty litter over hardpack that seems to be the Phoenix standard.

Looks like a great trail system! Those single black trails didn't look bad at all - lots of fun with not a ton of steep drops :)

Yea, not bad at all! Totally doable for most people - just not at breakneck speeds.
Sunset Ridge however is their double black and I think that one is a completely different story.
@@TheMediocreMountainBiker agreed about the breakneck speed! I was watching you take it, and even that seemed like the max you would want to go. Got me rethinking how fast I've been taking trails over the last year just to keep up with friends :P

Haha, yea. Bike rental. Since I wasn’t planning to do too much riding in this trip I decided it would be be better to rent a bike.
