I pretty much live across the street from San Tan. It's mainly where I ride. While it lacks tech, it does have plenty of uphill to challenge your lungs/legs and will get/keep you in shape. I would ride the loop that you did in this video 2 times back to back, and finish with 1/2 of the loop, to train for the Tour of the White Mountains last October.

It's a pretty fun place to ride if you have the right bike for it. Be great to see them add more trails out here one day.

@@SharetheShred I've heard that people are trying to get that to happen, but "politics" hamper it. They need to, as the population around here grows, this park will be overwhelmed.

If your gonna properly enjoy San Tan I would bring an XC bike, if you have the option. Dynamite is pretty fun on a trail bike but everywhere else a trail bike is a bit sluggish. However an XC bike, full suspension or hardtail, makes the rest of San Tan super fun.

Did you go down the North side or South side? I've hiked my bike up the South side and came back down the South side. Everyone I've talked to has said the North side is just too loose and steep, not kept up for riding.

Typical Valley. Too damned many people. That's why I ride the secret single track where you might run into 1 other group on a Saturday. About 65 miles of ST if you rode it all as one loop.

San Tan is closest to where I live and yes the scenery is nice. A few techy spots but nothing crazy. If I’m pressed for time I’ll ride here, however I do prefer Browns or Hawes or even Casa Grande for longer more diverse rides. Nonetheless anytime I’m on my bike is a great time. Thanks for the shred.
