Sunset Ridge and Big Sister at Hawes with Alex Petitdemange

- Sunset Ridge represents the pinnacle of the Hawes tech-trail experience. Big Sister was just being completed when we filmed this and this trail offers more of a "flow" experience. Doing these two in succession offers a well rounded trail experience with just about everything you could ever ask for as a bicycle enthusiast. Nice work Hawes. Alex Petitdemange filmed this just before the end of 2021. Once Big Sister gets burned in a bit, it will be an amazing example of what is possible in the desert. Sunset Ridge is straight jank but actually has some semblance of flow after the middle climb. The fresh cut sections were amazing. Love your work Hawes.

Nice job with Sunset. It’s a bit awkward but the more laps you get in on it, it grows on you 🤷♂️. Love watching you shred tho and the videos are always 10/10 ✌️
Definitely need a couple more laps to make sense of that.
@@natehills9388 took me about 5-6 laps before I could link it all together. The fact y’all can bomb that first try is inspiration. I don’t really have hope for that climb in the middle tho - I don’t think that even made an appearance in Jeff Lenosky’s video either.

Great Vid as always Nate. I just moved to Mesa from Maryland in Oct. and rode SS ridge for the first time In November. Its a whole new world of riding out here. Just wondering also what front tire are you rolling on?

Be careful using drone footage if you don't have commercial drone license. A number of MTb riders have recently had content with only a small amount of drone footage demonetized. In some cases, channels lost hundreds of videos with only a few secs of footage in them.
