These old conversion vans have always been my favorite automobiles. Especially the Designer Vans, and this is one of them! Great job and thanks for the tour! I hope to own one someday!
I am Happy & grateful now to have one of these chevy 20 Van's she runs great low mileage & can fix her up . Reliable long term companion.pure appreciation
I just bought 1994 chevy van 20 high top with only 57 000 original miles, impecable inside and out side , one owner , I take to the mechanic to check and fix some details for long trip, nice ride with the family.
This van was not bad at all. Definitly could be a pretty nice van with some basic cleanup and relatively minor work. Some people's idea of what "junk" is , is pretty ridiculous.
My dad had a 95 G20 conversion van but in a really nice dark brown color. Interior was tan. I’ve been looking for a similar one to that for years. I loved that van, wanted that to be my first vehicle but dad had to sell it well before I was able to drive.
the one I had was a work van and it has 213k km of just work on it, previous owner probably was a landscaper, said all he did was haul with it until the tranny went. But these are hard to kill. They'll fire up everytime.
Yep my teacher said I should get one of these Chevy vans instead of the 1990 Chevrolet K1500 stepside I was about to buy now I'm probably buying a G20 near December for my 17th birthday
My dad I have one of these to a tear came out of me watching this video because my dad died that year This was his last car It was midnight blue and it had a couple wolves 🐺 Painted on the spare tire
Omg this video brought back so many memories I used to ride in this beast to school in the morning Thanks for making these van reviews I'm working on a camper van idea and they help out a lot.
And I'm about to buy one tomorrow that has the exact same miles too.......weird!!! The one I'm prob gonna get has the longer wheelbase or I wouldn't have even been interested. I'll be converting into an RV.
I am looking for a van like this in the near future. I had a Starcraft and sadly sold it to get a new Jeep. Thank you for posting. I will follow you to see what you have!
i remember my grandparents had one of these for the lone=gest tim till they sold there buisness this brings back what little memories i have of it, these things were definatley tanks
I recently bought the same van same year almost identical, I have the same problem with the drivers side door....I also need to replace the glass fuses that are In the center roof between the driver and passenger side. I have searched and asked so many people including contacting a chevy dealer and no one can tell me, do you have the same fuse box?
looks like the vacuum lines are not connected to the canister ball under the hood. if it ha a vacuum leak that would explain the high idle and lurch in gear.
i remember those kind of vans, i went w/ my relatives and toured the country from west to the east in my uncle's van. that was when gas were still cheap. i had seen my first and sadly, my last boob flash while sitting in the window seat driving somewhere in kentucky or tennessee. those were good times.
hey kyle, i got a 95 extended version work van of this, with 81k, question @ 01:17, the two black indents in the dash, were they for aux guages?, and also, the trans always lurched forward after age, that trans model did that
hey. i'm trying to flush my coolant system (my anti freeze is real dirty) . could you tell me where the radiator coolant drain valve is located ? thanks
I have a 1992 that has 88,612 miles, near mint condition, windows and mirrors work, 5.7 V8. It has one issue... major issue. The engine kept stalling. It was parked in 2015 because of this. I am now finally getting ready to try to fix it/restore it.
My mom had a 1995 G20 Mark III when I was a kid. I learned to drive in that thing. My parents bought it new and had it until around 2003. It was a piece of crap in the end, but my mom loved that thing for some reason. She only got rid of it because it started having major engine problems. You used to see a lot of these back in the day, not so much anymore. I think they all fell apart.
Daily driver, plus tons of road trips. My brother and I played competitive soccer and traveled every weekend during the season. Thats part of the reason she got the van. It had well over 100k miles on it when she sold it.
I have a 95 G20 van just like this, but mine is a lil cooler looking. I paid 1800 for it just to haul stuff, but I fall in love with it and drive it almost daily and I have 2 newer car that are Honda's but I drive the van the most wish I could poet a pic. Which ur girl cause I might scoop her up in Big Blu lol. Nice video 👍
How much do they want for it? I`am going to pick a 88 chevy conversion today. 59,000 on the odometer its in excellant condition better than this one you looking at. I hope I get for under 1,400.00
my grandma had $5000 for the down payment on a new car but saw a 95 g20 and paid 1500 for it, when i asked her why she said the lincoln navigator she was going to get was no where near as luxurious as the g20 and a few weeks later she sold it and got a ford e-150 conversion van and said the same thing as the g20
I've got a 92 chevy g20 with the exact same engine, only 82k miles on it and it's having some trouble, hard to start with a rough idle, unresponsive gas pedal, refuses to shift on time and sometimes won't shift at all, and is guzzling gas way more than normal. Anyone want to help diagnose the problem? I think it's to do with the carb but I'm not an expert on them. Also this van went from running perfect, after taking a 300 mile drive, it was parked for the night and then these problems appeared.
It's kind of funny how I have a blue 1993 GMC Vandura 2500, and my one back door is pused in from the wheel, kind of like this one! Mine isn't that noticable though.
I know this video is old,but please, review vehicles in better shape. This one is not in condition to be review, needs a full restoration. Thanks for all the reviews .😉
i have seen some bad conversion Vans but this one take the cake lol i mean i have seen some nasty ones like i have seen some with holes in the floors and roof and some with alot of rust but this one take the cake for being the dirty one ever ha good video
It's sad that people don't know how good these vans actually are. Imagine being on a road trip with one of these, a mini fridge, tv, and a water bed in the back.
@TJC450 your welcome that feture actually came about due to certian ford cars in the 70 and 80 were easily bumped in to reverse. It happend to me on an 87 lincoln once.
Honestly, it's pretty sad to see a vehicle that was as beautiful as it was be disrespected as it visibly has been. :( If it were me, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and clean it up, and drive it every day to school. That is, if I didn't have my own already...

MrZayne I second that.
I was surprised myself to see that referred to as "seen better days"... like have these people not seen what a project vehicle really looks like?
A lot of people now don't feel comfortable working on vehicles, so smaller issues like this are major sticking points for them.
My dad had a 95 G20 conversion van but in a really nice dark brown color. Interior was tan. I’ve been looking for a similar one to that for years. I loved that van, wanted that to be my first vehicle but dad had to sell it well before I was able to drive.
These vans do indeed get abused, but they are tough and reliable.
the one I had was a work van and it has 213k km of just work on it, previous owner probably was a landscaper, said all he did was haul with it until the tranny went. But these are hard to kill. They'll fire up everytime.

Nah they suck on gas
@@jd3076 I have the 93 G20 with a V6 and it's not that bad.
I have a metalic green 94 Chevy G20 V6. 234,000 miles.
1994 with styling from the '80's and gauges from the '70's? Love ya' GM :3

matteo gottie lol
MrEljibaro127 no it’s the white ones.
Lmao
that remark, my good sir, goes to the 2000's chevy express vans
I remember my dad used to have one of these. Good memories took a gallon of gas just to start it.
I was recently given a van just like this with only 100 thousand miles, tv /radio works and it's very clean
How are they mechanically? Is it expensive to maintain one now?
I like these vans more!! Awesome job bro.
감사합니다.
I had this van back when I was younger, but sadly it caught fire while coming back from Dinner. That was such a beautiful vehicle.
love the big fresh leaky spot on the ground underneath it especially...
When I buy one, I am going to call it the Bang Bus :)
Nope I'm taking that and putting it on mine that's genius
My parents had one with a little bit longer wheel base, beautiful van
funny that his has the exact mileage as my own 94 conversion van, but only half as clean. shows the difference in what taking care of it can do!
And I'm about to buy one tomorrow that has the exact same miles too.......weird!!! The one I'm prob gonna get has the longer wheelbase or I wouldn't have even been interested. I'll be converting into an RV.

it still has potential.
just like you ...are you still in jail ?
John Stromboly ??
I remember the G20 beast! Man, you sure have blown up since then!
i had one of those in high school, it was a mobil hotel!!! =D
I recently bought the same van same year almost identical, I have the same problem with the drivers side door....I also need to replace the glass fuses that are In the center roof between the driver and passenger side. I have searched and asked so many people including contacting a chevy dealer and no one can tell me, do you have the same fuse box?
@TJC450 it says that because until the late 80s you did not have that safty interlock on the brake pedal or a clutch safty switch.
looks like the vacuum lines are not connected to the canister ball under the hood. if it ha a vacuum leak that would explain the high idle and lurch in gear.
Love the old vids bro!
love it
Love these videos on old vehicles. It seems in good working order, just that the inside wasn't too well taken care of.
i remember those kind of vans, i went w/ my relatives and toured the country from west to the east in my uncle's van. that was when gas were still cheap.
i had seen my first and sadly, my last boob flash while sitting in the window seat driving somewhere in kentucky or tennessee. those were good times.
Love the wood inserts in these, massive planks of wood freshly chopped up and just bolted in.
I want to get one of these to use for music festivals and to do some light traveling!
Saw a van in thief river falls might see this tomorrow on the second of APRIL.
those seats look super WARM and COMFY!!! :)
hey kyle, i got a 95 extended version work van of this, with 81k, question @ 01:17, the two black indents in the dash, were they for aux guages?, and also, the trans always lurched forward after age, that trans model did that
love the exhaust start-up views, nice video as always. Looks like that one burns a little oil.
I love chevrolet vans 💪💪💪
we had a 91 or 93 van like this, theyre tanks, we got t-boned in it, hardly any damage except the fender was rubing the tire a little.
Great video as always Kyle!
Gosh id love to have that van
Aaron Kellams Just in better condition
love the coat hanger holding up that exhaust pipe that broke off the muffler
I love all of the cars you bring to the channel but im curious about when youll bring back the more exotic cars you used to review. thanks!
hey. i'm trying to flush my coolant system (my anti freeze is real dirty) . could you tell me where the radiator coolant drain valve is located ? thanks
May I ask the diff between a C20 and a G20? thanks. william
Can you drive a nissan maxima 5 speed test drive and/or Nissan Pathfinder 2001-2004 5 speed?
1:46 love the left horn, it's brutal.
That tone is just like the color bars and the white screen of death?
In-laws of mine had one from the 80's i think and finally parted with it 3 years ago. It had a T-V and tape deck it was the all delux version.
My dad used to have this truck for work when I was growing up. Only difference was, it was a GMC work truck
I have a 1992 that has 88,612 miles, near mint condition, windows and mirrors work, 5.7 V8. It has one issue... major issue. The engine kept stalling. It was parked in 2015 because of this. I am now finally getting ready to try to fix it/restore it.
once upon a time this was a very nice van!
well i think all this van needs is somebody's time, money and dedication and it will be good as new

Still have a 1991 g20 that runs great.
I’d use it for expo center outdoor events and make it look like an office inside. I could see that with this van.
Boss how to bleeding chevrolet izuzu clutch cylinder?
I have a 95 G20 van just like this, but mine is a lil cooler looking. Are these cars going to auction or something?
interesting, i think my relatives had one, but not sure never really kept in touch
How much do they want for it? I`am going to pick a 88 chevy conversion today. 59,000 on the odometer its in excellant condition better than this one you looking at. I hope I get for under 1,400.00
Thia van has the 5.0 ( 305ci) engine in it. I like that conversion van, very funky.
@saabkyle04 wikipedia says
1994
A driver's side airbag was made standard, with a passenger-side airbag optional.
My mom had a van like that but it was longer and it was also the explorer package it was a nice van until it started having engine issues
my grandma had $5000 for the down payment on a new car but saw a 95 g20 and paid 1500 for it, when i asked her why she said the lincoln navigator she was going to get was no where near as luxurious as the g20 and a few weeks later she sold it and got a ford e-150 conversion van and said the same thing as the g20
What's the blue book on it
Hey what's the consumption on these? 1 mpg? :P Really wondering :P
Yeah very nice van! You're the best!
Wow... you can just kick off those running-boards like no deal.
Kyle, can you do a 07 or up saturn vue? :)
Cool little van

It looks as short as a ford transit.
Bjork Vlogdok is aggressive
My girlfriend in high school got one of these when she turned 16... we called in the "mobile bedroom" ;)
where are you in this vid?
Just purchased one that looks exactly like this for 1800 bucks...same if not better condition
what is the price of this Van
I've got a 92 chevy g20 with the exact same engine, only 82k miles on it and it's having some trouble, hard to start with a rough idle, unresponsive gas pedal, refuses to shift on time and sometimes won't shift at all, and is guzzling gas way more than normal. Sounds like a vacuum leak in the transmission vacuum lines
Any check engine lights?
Check the tps on the throttle body
Rebuild carburetor, and absolutely do not ever, ever put ethanol gas in it. Then get the vacuum tubes looked over.
The older cars/trucks/vans are not set up to run on ethanol gas as it tends to clog injectors.
Blue with Wood and chrome that was a great color combination (scarcasm implied)
We had a 1992 G20 Chevy van and got over 450,000 miles on it.
It's kind of funny how I have a blue 1993 GMC Vandura 2500, and my one back door is pused in from the wheel, kind of like this one! Mine isn't that noticable though.
Probably wasn’t taking care of properly by the previous owner. I would restore it if I could buy it.
I know this video is old,but please, review vehicles in better shape. This one is not in condition to be review, needs a full restoration. Thanks for all the reviews .😉
Inside is kinda weird looking. Love the exterior and the Engine.
The worlds best rape van. I MEAN!!! uhhhh... Comfortable driving van. Yeah. that. totally.
Saxton HAAALE True but not a rape van.
Edit: I have never been raped in one. Nor have I ever ridden in a 90s Chevy/GMC van.
Haaaaahaaaaalol
Why’d you block out the a and the p in rape?
Awesome !

@jbone51096 Most likely needs the hinges replaced. I had to get that done on my Thunderbird.
It's sad that people don't know how good these vans actually are. Imagine being on a road trip with one of these, a mini fridge, tv, and a water bed in the back.
i love chevy vans
this is a restore project
i would love to have one
@TJC450 your welcome that feture actually came about due to certian ford cars in the 70 and 80 were easily bumped in to reverse. It happend to me on an 87 lincoln once.
Hey guis how's it going
Looks exactly like the one i took a radio out of for my camaro :P
Honestly, it's pretty sad to see a vehicle that was as beautiful as it was be disrespected as it visibly has been. :( If it were me, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and clean it up, and drive it every day to school. That is, if I didn't have my own already...

How much?
HEY How's your family i mean can i put the petal to the floor?! i would if i was there
I'd rather drive this van any day. Simple fixer uppers than any vehicle out there today.. I regret selling my 1993 chevy van. 😢
