- Today, I pull a one owner 1972 g10 out of the bushes and get it running and driving after sitting for almost 30 years. It has a 307 Small block, auto transmission, and a lot of rat nests. I plan on fully restoring this van and you'll see it here in upcoming videos. Thanks for watching!
Badass. Bring back the boogie van.
Nice To See Another Van Saved !
Keep On Vanninng

@thebackyardfabricator3419 what's your plans for her?
I had one of these in 8th grade, great times. I owned a 89 G10 😊😊😊
Sweet van, truly. I’ll have to find one for me. Please keep posting great videos.
Thanks for saving her 👍🇦🇷
Should be coming out with the next video soon! thanks for watching
Chevy ruled the van scene. 🤙🤙
Still does 😎🤘
Nice pick up them g10 cargo vans are hard to find!
Even all dirty and mossy its a beauty 😮
Great van for customizing these things are getting harder to find it looks pretty rust free outside
I had a 72’ 350, 3 on the tree , 50’s on the back rear shackles flipped ,laid rubber everywhere. Hard on ujoints though 😁
Nice van keep the videos coming
My dream is to own a car like this... greetings from Brazil..🇧🇷👍
Keep the 307 you can cam it an keep it pump friendly an have a nice van
The power wash made a big difference!!
Wouldn't suggest using a pressure washer on seals and other areas not meant to see anything near that type of pressure. Makes a lot more work for ya, and surely creates a bigger hole where there might of just been a smaller one.
Had to have some rust in the cylinders in spots for it to crank that slow then fire right up. You can add all the fluids you want into the oil and gas but it will only do so much with the current state it’s in. But it sure is fun to save these things, especially a custom van.
Cool to see a 72, looks like it could use a dawn dishsoap, and green scrubber pad bath yet,,,
Been collecting 64 to 70 vans my self, I do have a 77 with glass in the rear, 6cyl 3 on the tree, it has a issue of dying under a hard pull like going up hill, to figure out, idles perfect thou...
then a 65 sportvan im replacing clutch rod linkages, but is a daily driver
Then a 67 gmc that needs the same as what your doing, going thru everything,
Just picked up a 68 last weekend, buried upto the axles in mud, was in se Missouri, a 6popper 3 on tree, had no motor or tranny,
Some more projects, and some parts vans too
Got 14 vans in total now I think, lol
Definitely be watching for more videos on this one,,, awesome find!
Thank you I appreciate it. It sounds like you have a lot of cool projects, I've always wanted one of these vans so it will definitely be a cool project!
Twenty-six years in those tires stayed aired up that long. Nice
That van needs 100 times huge amount of work
Needs a 454 superchargded Chevy with 4.11 rear gears bro😊

It’s got a lot of cool parts on it that they aren’t making anymore, but no interior, maybe it was half way done and got parked for some reason.
