I mean... There's no reason to even purchase it separately now, since it just comes packaged in with Anniversary. As a whole Anniversary is worth purchasing, especially since you get all CC content for 20 bucks if you already had SE.
So 2 deathpriest can create 6 tortured shades, which could be soulsplit into 12 sundered shades. Mix into this a follower who preferably can summon, that ghost from the aetherium wars quest (who will follow you anywhere), a potential spectral dragon priest from Konahrik, an atronach from that spectral dragon priest, fire wyrms from killing enemies with Fire Breath while having a Black Book effect. And then use the Battle Fury shout to increase all attack speeds. Edit: specifically with a follower, give them something like Sanguine’s Rose. Also, Mirrak’s robes can summon tentacle attacks on enemies. Edit 2: and looking at a fan wiki, the Ancient Deathpriest has spells where it can summon other things.
Absolutely worth it imo. Great for role playing a necromancer or vampire mage. I use these summon spells regularly on my vampire, along with summon gargoyle boss, gargoyle brute, and summon death hounds from free mods.
the undying ghost is really insane it is so good for anyone since you can just pop it and it gets super buffed it is kinda cheesy but you can cast it for 0 mana and still have a meat shield so it is kind of op i think a conjure staff would be cool and make it so it does good dmg since theres like no really good staffs
Just a heads up. The Jarl, as you can imagine, is very busy. That said, I love your in depth look at these items and have to agree with you that the Undying Ghost is pretty damn cool!
I think a bound Scythe would have been cool and would have fit the Necromancer theme. They also need to release more spell packs to help magic be better like more Deadra summons for a summoner, some Earth and Nature base spell packs for a Druid and maybe a holy theme spell pack for a Priest/Cleric.
After having read through this DLC's content on the UESP wiki, I realized that this mod apes ideas from one of my old mods for Skyrim LE called Cyanic Grimoire. Even the name is similar. By my standards today it's a shit mod overall but I'm working on a new version for SE/AE with some pretty awesome changes coming. I was proud of the Bone Commander spell I created, which is incidentally very similar to the Bone Colossus from this DLC.
There's a new enchantment to increase the summoning time and give one extra summon. Get a colossus first and add 2 champions and 2 warlocks!! Add some alchemy to buff your enchantings and that increases the summoning time to whatever you want!!
The death priest is wearing the Jagged Crown. It looks cool but there's only supposed to be one of those crowns that exists, the one you get during the civil war.
Conjuration magic is what I specialize in I am a contour and I consider myself to be a necromancer that loves conjuration and I love magic I have a lust for the Dead in Skyrim
indieing ghost is creation club spell??? damn didnt know i started playing anniversary edition straight away sooo since it was best option allways used it b=
Yeah, I figured it out. I waited a few days, and the wizard had a few more skills. Do you know if the anniversary edition unlocks the rest of the stuff? Just curious cause the price for the coins to buy all that is more than buying the anniversary edition
Help! I have the anniversary edition and none of the new spells pop up, even though my conjuration is at 100 and I've done the master quest but he only offers the base spells. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Go to the creation club tab in the main menu. Check to see if the creations are installed or not. Once they are installed, go to your game and wait 3 in-game days and barter with the conjuration Wizard in the college of winterhold. You can always check if this creation is in the game by going to your journal menu and clicking on “installed Content”. Hope this helps.
Did u know modders done better stuffs? Some mod for summoning: Apocalypse spells mod, adding a lot of stuffs, more dremora types (like xivilay types) ghosths, large dremoras for master level, liches etc etc. A mod to summon daedroth (likes in morrowind and oblivion( A mod to add back some of old spells from morrowind. A mod to add the treasury hunt for the "ice blade of the monarch" able to summon the "frost monarch" See that? Modders are capable to add better lorefriendly contents
Do you need to be at a certain level before phinis sells ancient death priest? My conjuration is at 100 with all perks, I did his conjuration test thing, and he still doesn't have it. My player level is 32.
You might want to try resetting his shop constantly. Start by quick saving in front of phinis. Then attack him until he is hostile. Load back that save and check his shop. rinse and repeat until you can get the spellbook. As for the level, nothing online says that there is a level requirement, so you should be good. If you have been able to get the Conjure Bone Colossus spell from him, then you should be able to get the Ancient Death Priest because they are both master level spells. Hope This helps!
@@TypicalPirate55 so that didn't work. I did it for a long time before I realized that if making him hostile even does anything, loading a quick save from right before that will undo it. I'm so pissed. I've actually been trying to find the tome for it for a couple months.
@@ryanwuttke3422 Dang. I thought that would work. That method is how I managed to get all of these spells for the video in a short amount of time. I guess there is a level requirement after all. @@TypicalPirate55 that would explain it. I'm at 40 now. I'll go check his shop every level and I'll let you know which level it shows up at, if you're interested.

Some notes
The undying ghost looks like its wearing dragon priest armor without the robe
The death preist looks like its wearing the jagged crown
So much new summons thats cool as hell probably will get the AE
That ancient death priest looks like the ringwraiths in Lord of the rings.
The death priest is wearing the Jagged Crown. It looks cool but there's only supposed to be one of those crowns that exists, the one you get during the civil war.
I didn’t even realize that. I guess it might make sense because the death priest looks to be a shade or ghost. Good point though!
This was a good showcase thank you!

undying ghosts appear to have the armor of a draugr deathlord

@@TypicalPirate55 of course. I always defer to the wisdom of SpiderPig
Combine undying ghost with necromantic ritual. Now you have short lived allies who heal you after dying.
I just did some testing and with this creation club you can have a max of 5 skeleton creatures

If you have a helmet a ring and a necklaces and a light armor with conjuration and destruction on it it cost zero to cast
