- @bkxc and @mtbingadventures1551 purchased 91 Acres of Land in Northern California and I couldn't WAIT to get out there and help build. This was my first trip out to the property and I was immediately hooked. Pines as far as the eye could see and limitless potential for building trails and adventure!
So strap in and get ready for another Calirado Kid adventure. You never know what kind of trouble we're going to get in to at the Shredquarters!
Be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with my latest adventures:

With a centerpiece like THE GRUMPER, you know these trails are going to be the $H!Z!
Hahaha! Let's just hope we don't get TOO many runs down those trails. 😂😎
@@CaliradoKid the trail name potentials are infinite.
in german the grumper would be called a plumps klo
The t shirt switches at the end were hilarious 😂
Hahaha! $20,000 CGI budget got it done.
Killing it! Keep it up! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Why is no one talking about Brian's perfect Zoolander face?! Nailed it dude!
What is this? A RUclips Channel for ANTS!?
One look? ONE LOOK??? Classic Stiller.
Haha the first time I met Joe also happened to be the first time I saw Brian do the Blue Steel face, and that picture has been in my favorites album ever since. Must be something about Joe that brings out the Blue Steel in Brian. 🤷♀️
Man, your edits are SO good! Seriously, it's inspiring me to step up my game and take things to another level. And, this was so satisfying to watch. Really shows that it's not always 1st person GoPro footy that's needed to simply enjoy that sense of adventure in the outdoors. Thanks for starting my morning right! ✌🏼🤟🏼
Thanks so much Adam. Yea it's definitely not easy to make clearing a campsite interesting but I'm glad I was able to make it interesting enough to watch. 😂
Another absolute banger of a video. Nicely done! This content is hard to make entertaining, let's be honest, but it was over before I knew it which is a sign of most excellent viewing pleasure 🤘 those camera shots look so good! Love the video quality. You're a natural!
Thanks brother! Excited to start editing the next one. Pretty sure you're the co-star!
@@CaliradoKid oh good! My favorite videos are the ones that feature me.
Next weeks weather is going to be good. I am ready for some more action and hope you will be coming up.
Oh man. Hoping to get out there. I may be organizing a live stream for Friday so we'll see if I can make it all work.
Oh, that's why Brian doesn't buy 6-packs at the grocery store.
Haha! Plus he doesn’t want to get RIPPED off. 😂
@@CaliradoKid 😲😆
Great collab! I love your comedic feel to BKXC! The property and adventures are going to be awesome!
Yea man! Brian's super funny and I'm glad I can rope him in to some funny bits whenever we get together.
at one point we were at roughly the same subscriber count but now you are 1k more than me and hanging with the big boys 👊 ... great vid & would love to be apart of it but it's a long way from Sydney 😂
Thanks brother! Yea it's been going well but there's always room for more growth. Gotta keep pushing! I try to learn something new with each video so I can constantly improve. Hopefully it works. If not I'm gonna go start making tech reviews and REALLY rake in the money! 😂
@@CaliradoKid good to hear Joe. I’m getting a drone soon which will add a little extra to my vids. We are in lockdown atm with a 5km (3mile) zone for shopping and exercise and I don’t have any trails to ride so I’ve had to think outside the box and have started building my own trail. The 1st video of the build comes out tomorrow 6pm (Sydney) time
Awesome video! I think you deserve an award. 😁 best actor, best story, best special effects, best music , best cinematography etc. 😎
Yes! I think you forgot "Best Fight Scene" ALSO!! 😂
@@CaliradoKid LOL
did you get your fx from fruit ninja? hey, just fyi, got skoolie, will travel, know how to shovel, got tools. where do i apply for a residency at the calirado campsite of excellence?
I 2nd that...
Someday we'll get a crew together out there for SURE. Right now Brian & Aaron are keeping the group pretty small just to keep it simple. But there's lot of land and lots of time for adventure!
Quite understandable, I'm sure there are tons of peeps willing to help but when you don't know these people personally it's always a question mark.
@@CaliradoKid you have a lovely way with words. and i 100% understand. still, the offer stands.
I've never seen your channel before, but man you did an awesome job in this video with pacing, narration, music
Thanks a lot! Yea I've been trying to learn something new with each video I make. Still LOTS of room to grow. But I'm having a blast!
Awesome video that was really funny 😆 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks!! Glad you dug it!
Man that place is going to be so cool!!! Excellent video per the usual
It's so cool to see it come together! Gonna be so cool for the future.
I bet you could make a video of me doing my weekend backyard yardwork look interesting. Pure video production genius!
Thanks so much man. Yea I guess I didn't really think about the fact that this video is BASICALLY about building campsites and mounting game cameras. Now I'm really glad it actually came out super fun! 😂
Great edit as usual. One of these days I’ll get up there to put some sweat equity in.
Looking forward to seeing a B1ker trail out there! We need some danger like Mando! 😬
@@CaliradoKid Aaron said there isn’t any sketchy features to route through. We’ll have to build them 🤷♂️
@@B1KER I'm actually pretty excited to start learning how to build wooden features. Let's GO!
there was alot of recording going on Joe ... dare I say you did some work along side all that recording too? another great vid Joe that's going to be a premier place to ride some day so cool
Oh yea. No doubt. We got a LOT done that day. I've since been out there many more times. So stay tuned for some more updates from the property.
Looking a little 'the good, the bad and the ugly' in the opening and closing shots. But I can't tell you apart so will let you argue over who's who. Great video, men!
Hahaha! Well played. Never takes sides and let em' fight it out! 😂
@@CaliradoKid On second thoughts… maybe the three amigos, ruclips.net/user/clipUgybTNSt_BTeJ8AK8Ux4AaABCQ
I love the cheesiness of Calirado Kid... but you are the jester ....
...I mean. You're not wrong. But better than being just another boring Knight!? 😎
For the belly shot you should have brought in B1ker, for a cameo! Love the Rye T-shirt.
Oh man! Haha. That would be gold. I can use that for a future video. 😆
This was pure gold! Looking forward to future videos.
Glad you dug it! This was an excellent day and I'm glad I could finally start sharing some of the projects we're working on out there.
I was like damn Joe is ripped and then oh that's Brian of course ha ha.
Damn Brian stealing the show!!
This dude is filled with so much extra energy.
My wife's glad I get it out in my videos now and not around the house. 😂
What a fun video!! I appreciate all the professional-grade dad jokes like the BKXSee ones.
Thanks Sarah! I'm glad you consider them professional-grade. My wife still thinks I'm working on the assembly line. I'm trying to get her to understand I'm in the damn FRONT OFFICE! 😂
@@CaliradoKid hahaha Must be a niche audience. 😜
The fight scene has to be what you were talking about.... Good stuff man!
Haha. Yes. Yes it was. So much time but totally worth it!
Dad jokes are 🔥🔥🔥
Those dad jokes are so hot right now! 😂
dude the production quality is sooo good!
Thanks Jacky! I'm still learning. It all started with the Pacifica video!
Could he not have a big enough potatoe chip bag
Hahaha! When you shop at Costco there's only ONE size. 😂
Damn. I think I said this before in another vid, but these vids are top notch. Quality is through the roof.
Thanks Duke!! Really appreciate it man. Trying to learn something new with each edit. In this case it was spending hours making a stupid fighting game joke. 😂
Another great video Joe! I don't miss the heat, but I wish I was right there helping you guys. 🤘
Yea man. The heat is absolutely brutal out there. Those kinda days you go through half a case of water and still barely use the bathroom.
7:23 perhaps ’Crap-Gap?’ 🤷🏼♂️
Wow. Haha! Perfect.
Love all the drone shots. Great video dude!
Thanks Jake! It really is a beautiful area. No question.
Great video! Very entertaining!
Thanks! Glad you dug it!
Are all your videos like this?
In terms of production value or style? Or just content? I always try to mix in a lot of elements to keep the energy high and entertaining.
Are you using an ND filter for the outside shots? Your aperture is set very low it looks like. Love it
Yes sir! It was actually my first time using the ND filters on the A7SIII. I was kinda blown away with the low aperture settings I was able to use. Depth of field for DAYS! 😂
@@CaliradoKid dang dude you brought an A7SIII out to a dusty ol camp site!!! You're crazy haha. Well it was your first time using that filter and look it got noticed!!
@@dadlife8289 I put that damned camera through its paces! Haha. I brought it out to Downieville and shot everything on the trail with it. It's just TOO GOOD!
Awesome video once again Joe. This is getting to be expected! No pressure.
Yea. Thanks a LOT. Now I GOTTA put 40 hours in to each video. If this channel doesn't get 10k subs by the end of the year I'm gonna go start doing tech reviews. 😂
@@CaliradoKid Throw one in the rotation now just for fun. Probably only 36 hours of work!
Nice! Another build series. I can’t get enough of them. Looking forward to seeing the trails and some inspiration for my own trails. Keep up the great work and I appreciate effort in your production. I know it ain’t easy and you make it look so good.
Thanks so much man! Yea there's a lot of work to be done out there. The majority of the build vids will be on Brian and Aaron's channels. But we're learning a lot fast and started working on some downhill trails on the next vid. Aaron just finished up a jump line and soon we'll graduate to wooden features once we get the Alaskan Mill up and running. Gonna be so fun!
@@CaliradoKid nice. I've started following them also. And Alaskan mill would be great. I don't have access to anything like that which makes it hard to work with wood.
Nice to meet you tonight. Good luck with everything!
Build a saw mill haha.
Well. We DO have an Alaskan Mill now. So it's a start!
Literally first
Quick on the Draw!
Good stuff, once again... Now go pick that water bottle up.
Thanks man! Brian definitely wasn't keen on my littering. 😆
Field cacas 😂🤣
HOT field kaka's! 😆
What can you do with 188 acres? That is what I am working with right now. Would love to have you guys come and check my land out. Maybe get some expertise out of ya.
"expertise" is a strong word to use with the 3 of us. Haha! But we're having an absolute blast building and learning as we go.
Great video Joe Really nice production and very entertaining. And don’t worry, everyone knows your abs are just as good as Brian’s. 😁
Yea Charlie!! I got those 8 minute abs!
First time watching one of your vids, cracking edit, love it. Keep up the good work man.
Awesome! Glad you dug it. We had a solid day of action and I'm glad I could capture it. Super stoked to start showing off some of the trails we've been working on.
Brian needs some goats to eat all the brush. Then you can just sit around and watch the goats do all the work. 😆🐐💩
...not when he's got thousands of low subscriber count RUclipsrs he could make do it for him for FREE! 😂
Creative bid. Love it!👍
I meant vid 🤪
Haha! I figured! Thanks man! It was an awesome day. Paid my dues in sweat for SURE! 😂
Hey CK, do you know if Brian or Aaron plan to make the location known at some future point in time?
Yes. They definitely will. But at the moment they're just trying to get some of the basic facilities up and running before opening it up to the public.
So good haha
Yea buddy!
Place is gonna be dope!!!
So much potential for Stoke-tacular Adventures!
I got a gimbal thanks to you.
Awesome! Stable footage is the lifeblood of a good MTB RUclipsr!
