Could not agree more. My favorite is the joke playing into Last Jedi but I have to admit, the second they told us Rey was Palpatine's granddaughter, my immediate reaction was, "Oh, HISHE is gonna have a field day with this gag," and I was not disappointed.
I love how they can make light-hearted jokes about anything, and not inject real opinions in there. You can tell that all the parodies are respectful and just take the material they had to work with and went nuts with it, and that's why I like their videos. If you ask me, I like to think that it came full circle in "Rise of Skywalker". The joke first started when Palpatine told Vader he had a son, then it gets thrown right back at his face in when Vader finds out Rey is his grandaughter.
DUDE... I just got a realization. We must all know that Anakin technically became an orphan in episode 2 and wifeless in episode 3. That's why he always just IS thirsty for family and have been running around yelling they found them that it's become the running joke here.

I don’t think the sequels were good at all but I don’t think the symbolism was supposed to be Palpatine takes over the Skywalker name, I think their goal was that Rey admired the Skywalker family so much and she wanted the names to live on even if the people that had Skywalker blood had passed. To be fair, most people do have multiple grandfathers...
how would that work though? did he have an intimate relationship with one of the Sand People or did he somehow bring Satine back to life? I honestly believe Palpatine being Rey's grandpa makes more sense from a logical standpoint.
