- Ed is back for his 3rd appearance on the show... We are in for a HUGE treat.. Ed is going to be talking about what its like being a new 1-0 and getting harder and harder targets as skill grows with the team.. LTC Wolcoff is becoming my favorite guest. I enjoy the way he “briefs” us. It’s like a debrief after a mission. He’s very methodical and he helps you envision the terrain and patrol scenarios. Thanks Mr Ed! Thanks Bud!

Ed wolcoff is an excellent orator and so eloquently explains everything in precise detail. I’m currently reading his book, “Special Reconnaissance and Advanced Small Unit Patrolling” It’s a must read for fans of MACV-SOG. This man is a living legend!
Totally agree!! I just sit back and listen. I can’t wait till his new stuff gets finished . It’ll be amazing from what I’ve seen

He's doing this like he's in the briefings before the mission excellent incredible documentary about those To me Super Heroes that Risks their life, their Teams sometimes or most of their times for Nothing, if you read about what happens before during after the War

Excellent. I dont think I would have ever felt safe on a FOB with VN security. I also wonder how the SOG Intel guys are received at the unit meetings every year. It's obvious most of the operators blame the S2 shop for many mistakes that caused loss of life.
My understanding is that the marines did not have the Garand at that point in the war. They did have automatic weapons but carried the 03 as a rifle.
True . All kinds of weapons were around from the Viet armories but there were not many grands being used
The experiences of these heroes should be made into movies.
They and Force Recon have blockbusters waiting to be made

@@davidclouse5894 Hunter killer team hit them after 1st light and killed everyone . They’d been trail to their harbor site . They massed around them all night and wiped em out. It’s believed that were killed on the spot . No indications of pow
@@davidclouse5894 as it went on this happened more and more. I mean ASK at CCN was wiped out 2-3 times
