From the demo I didn't think it was bad but around the time when Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners and Half Life: Alyx are out, I was hoping for more. It feels a little dated like Batman Arkham VR which came out 4 years ago. The flying is a cool mechanic but there doesn't seem like a lot of variety.
That's because it's still coasting off of the novelty of being in a virtual reality 3D space. It's banking on the "wow" factor rather than gameplay, whereas games like Half-Life Alyx take the medium to the next level with engaging gameplay and creative mechanics as well as impressive visuals.
It actually offers more depth than meets the eye. There's definitely a learning curve to flying and there are levels to it. The game needs to played on hard to understand how rewarding it can feel. Easy 8/10 for me, maybe even a 9 without the loading screens.
Get in consideration that this is a psvr exclusive and the number of psvr users out there. If we want triple the money invested on this title we need triple the users. I am quite happy with the game but can’t stop thinking about the achievable when psvr becomes a must in every home, that day is definitely coming,

The game certainly has its flaws but it's a lot of fun. It took me a minute to figure out the flying mechanics, but once I did, I was zipping around no problems. The flying time trials are awesome. The combat is a little lackluster but overall I'm having an absolute blast.
It is difficult though. For someone who could walk at normal pace and also fly around the earth multiple times a second, how do you keep true to that while still making your game world feel real and believable?
@Arigato Senpai I'm saying it's difficult to create something that preserves the power level of Superman (mainly the speed) while still making the game true to life. The only way to do it is to limit his powers somehow, but then that isn't true Superman anymore
Omar Sherif Well It can’t be better then a 3rd person when it’s a first person game the best you can do is be the best superhero VR as a game like Spider-Man ps4 lets you have the agility and fast movements that you can’t have in VR, but VR games like Ironman try’s to let you have every single thing in control like hand movements, when you activate something, and when your holding holding things but when I look at the two Id rather have Spider-Man.
Would have been a great game if you actually fight villains or enemies of The Avengers and Iron Man. We have too many drone killing games as it is. What a waste of potential.
I feel like the living laser should have made robots and possessed jets from the helicalcarrier once the others failed and I mean robots that cants fly and bonus missions in the areas the game talks about like London that has multiple areas for a bonus story

Sampreeth Ashwath VR makes this type of game much better, the locomotion would be so boring in pancake. Although PSVR is definitely the worst headset to do this in the controllers are super weird compared to oculus touch or valve knuckles and the tracking is 180 degrees of this was on oculus quest and wireless I think it would have been better

There are some little Easter eggs, but currently it hasn’t been confirmed. And it may not happen with how big the story for Avengers is. Like, unless Spider-Man takes place before A-Day, we would have heard of it. Also, on aesthetics wise, they’re very different. To be honest, I’m not even sure Squire-Enix and Insomiac know if they’re connected.

Psvr sold more than than oculus rift and Vive combined in only 1 year. It's by far the best seller in VR. Even quest sold well but extremely far away from psvrs numbers. Not even 20% of psvr. I wish it would come to pcvr though, but like RE7 and others I dont see it happening.
Rob Armstrong production for Quest has basically been on pause for a long time. Mine was extremely hard to come by. They’re constantly on back order. PSVR is way more accessible to find. I can walk into almost any Walmart right now and pick one up.

This is what an honest review of Iron Man VR looks like. And it's pretty much how I felt playing the demo
The game is around 47gb that's an unbelievably big for a vr game hope it's worth the space
looking at graphics, no. half life alyx is only 20 gb more and looks way better with more variety
i downloaded it for less then 18 gb

It looks better with the VR helmet on. This is a VR game after all, putting it on a flat screen isn't accurate.

Ironically this is one of the rare PSVR games that gave me motion sickness. Which is crazy because Eagle Flight doesn't bother me.
