As a quest 2 user and a fan of this channel it's so satisfying to hear that the iron man vr experience is awesome. Thank you as always. I'm excited for more superhero games who do you think is next? My guess Thor
Everybody poops on PSVR games until they are within reach. Feel sorry for the folks that will not experience Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Blood and Truth and others for this reason
Curious. Other reviews titled Quest 2 were actually reviewed playing on Quest Pro with just a nod to the Quest 2 version. Thank you for an actual Quest 2 review.
My pleasure, although it may be because I absolutely cannot afford a Pro more than any particular journalistic foresight. If someone would like to gift me a Pro then we can really test my mettle
no mention of the price? It looks like $39.99 which is a nope for me. i played the demo on PSVR and whilst i enjoyed it the controls and hideous loading times made me return my unopened copy of the full game. I know the Quest 2 version addresses those issues very well but if the price i quoted is correct i still think its too steep. Glad you enjoyed it though :)
it was blurry on PSVR pro It might have gotten a patch for PS5 . still i didnt play it much . This looks to have higher fidelity graphics but less texture detail
I got PSVR2 at launch (just like PSVR1), but I still just bought this game for quest 2 again after playing through like a third or less on PSVR1, excited to try it tonight. PSVR1 was just too limiting for me to play Iron Man. PSVR2 is awesome, but it doesn't have Iron Man and cable-free is the way to go for this game imho.
Don't think I've ever heard you so enthusiastic lol. You'd have thought they'd have waited and incorporated the Quest Pro's eye tracking as a "must have title"? Price is potentially a bit too steep, give I paid less than that for HL:a! Will put it on a watch list. Thanks for the review
Thanks Stuart. I’m a pretty big comic book fan, and I’ve always thought that VR was just perfect for superhero games. I have no idea why there aren’t more of them?! When I first discovered VR, Marvel Powers United had just been released. Despite the fact that I would have scored that game a 6 at best, I still put HOURS into it. This however, has fully met my expectations for what being a super hero in VR should be. Exactly what I wanted: incredible, unique movement paired with fast paced action. I really, really enjoyed this
it's a little spendy but its longer than the reviews I saw indicated. I estimate its a 10 hour game with extra modes and mini games that make it longer still
it was blurry on PSVR pro It might have gotten a patch for PS5 . still i didnt play it much . This looks to have higher fidelity graphics but less texture detail I will likely try this version

my issue with the game is that the quest struggles to run it. I found at the Golden avenger level i could barely fly, because quest couldn't render all then enemies and let me fly at normal speed. Then there's the frame drops throughout the game even in the mansion when you are just walking around. i still like the game a lot, but a pcvr offering should be released as well.
@@skiz_junior2044 This was already made for vr. All they did was port it over. Nothing to change or develop. It’s just my opinion and probably eventually I will pick it up because I try to own most games on Quest 2.
The graphics look amazing compared to the PSVR version. That was the one disappointment to me. The China level felt like it was a PS2 or even PS1 game, the backgrounds were so thinly detailed, but the gameplay is very fun! I would recommend this as well
It has modes for you to keep playing. With that logic, No VR game is worth buying. These things offer experiences, like a ticket to a theme park, except you own this and can revisit it as many times as you want
Nobody going to bring up the fact that the triggers AREN'T used to fire the weapons, you have to awkwardly use your thumbs up top instead?? Only downside though, stellar game otherwise.
@6DOFReviews presuming you don't use the thumbsticks t steer then, just the repulsors/heard turn? Maybe I need to get away from the thumbsticks then...just feels so familiar, but it's not really in keeping with the immersive side of flying as Iron Man I guess...
@@MattSmith-yq3rr On the contrary, it's exactly how Iron Man flies, he uses his repulsors and jets to direct his flying :) Once you get the hang of it, it's very cool and very immersive! Try again, and let us know how you feel about it!

I didn't really enjoy it on PSVR because the tracking was too poor for a game like this, but can't wait to give it another try on the Quest 2 :)
The psvr one was blurry had long load times and was held back by the Ps move controllers. The quest version is allot better.
