- This is the twelveth episode of the Race to Dakar 2020 : Africa Eco rally Race Team Races to Places with Lyndon Poskitt Racing.
We are in stage 7, covering 478 km from Chami to Aidzidine. A difficult stage, all riders agreed on that, with lots of navigation in places with no tracks at all. All the front runners get lost. A bit of confusion due to a modification in the road book, that not all riders had put in theirs. But the team is still going well and on track to reach their goal: get all 5 riders to Dakar.

Again, the long transit sequence of B-roll really brought more of Mauritania to me sitting on my bed in Seattle. Not to mention the race footage from today was just top notch. The South Africans cresting in tandem was picture perfect.
Like 👍, for the Lyndon's father for his kindness to the people.
I am amazed how impoverished a lot of these areas are. Thank you all for giving what you can to the locals.
I must sound like a broken record. This is the best event I have ever had the pleasure to follow. I find myself cheering for each and every person on the team. Riders, Support Crew, and the Media Team. You are all doing an outstanding job, Giving those of us that would never be able to do something like this the feeling we are right their side by side with each of you, Be Safe and Matt I will hold your Beer.
These videos really make the whole experience come alive for me! Thank you for investing so much time and energy to put these together!

LP always has a positive attitude, no matter how jacked up the road book may be. Fun to see how well the teammates get along -- especially when it comes to luggage. And I'm glad I stayed in school, Matt! Keep up the great work on the editing and background scenes. This team is special.

Sometimes things happens completely out of what we previously thought...errors happens by the riders or by the organization but...but this is also part of the game, of course we are talking about in the middle of nowhere in Mauritania, and I can not imagine how difficult this was, to deal with the situation....so I am happy that everybody made it and arrived safely!...congrats!!
By the way...the journey of the support team ia amazing as well!!

any more news on the (erroneous?) road book modifications for stage 7? you said 1st and 2nd on the stage (borturri and ulevalsetar) didn't have the modification in their book for the day???? hmmm. 30+ minutes lost to them will probably be the difference between 1st and 3rd in Dakar :/
