      You have to check your farmers, we have local farmers who have bought into the lies that glysophate is the secret to big "healthy" crops. Our local apple orchard tells us they don't spray their fruit, they just spray it on the trees before they go into bud. We don't know if the local is better unless we talk to them and hopefully they tell us the truth. The farmers aren't evil, they have just bought into the lie, they believe this stuff is safe for human consumption.

    • @pjc7351
      @pjc7351 2 дня назад

      @@CanadianKeto-vore1967 True, nothing wrong with Cain's 'produce', because grain and drink offerings were later accepted in the temple. "And unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect, and his (Cain's) countenance fell." Genesis 4:5 The problem was Cain's "countenance." Many theologians talk about the proper offering which would have been a blood sacrifice BUT keeping this simple, Cain's fallen countenance was PRIDE. God knew Cain's heart. Cain's heart was not right before the Lord and his offering was not in faith before the Lord. Go to Hebrews 11:4 "By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain..." Isn't is wonderful how Scripture interprets Scripture? If you have questions just keep reading (and use cross references too.) Blessings Canadian Carnivore!

    Beef is extremely expensive here in the UK so I'm limited to 3 to 4 ribeye steaks per week with the remainder of my days OMAD consisting of lambs liver and four eggs.
    Interestingly when I've eaten the liver and eggs, 130ish grams of liver per serving and eggs. After a couple of hours after ingestion my pee is a bright illuminated green colour.
    I did a tad of research and found out it was excessive Riboflavin.( Vitamin B2.) Doesn't do any harm whatsoever but it's something I've personally never seen before from eating just food.
    Literally a superfood at superb prices. If you've never tried liver before be it lambs or beef liver if you're anything like myself you'll definitely feel fabulous after /4/5/6 weeks of strict carnivore eating and drinking (salt water) these very basic literal superfoods.
    Give it a whirl guy's and girl's you never know, it may be just as good for you as it has been for me.

Dr Ken Berry says that you do the best you can do, if you can go local grass fed... Good for you. It's lovely that you are so blessed, but it makes those of us who cannot afford that feel what is the point of even trying. The cheapest way to eat is rice, corn, beans and wheat. But I am not buying those things. Just found this post very discouraging. Like Carnivore is a cult that the poor cannot afford to be apart of.

    I actually looked at local farms here in Quebec and unfortunately, the prices are way more expensive than the grocery stores and all dairy meat product prices are ruled by the federal government and are about 2 times more than in the USA, but anyway, I will go to a farmers market and see what they have there. The quality of products is much better in Canada than in the USA in General, but still, finding real grass-fed meat, and cage-free eggs is very difficult as the labelling is so not clear. I went to a wholesale place called Mayrand, a small Cosco-type place for restaurants and open to the public, they have a great selection of meat and seafood, and the cheeses there are amazing (I love real chees, so I get a tiny bit of Raw milk cheese some times), all the best Quebec raw milk cheeses, but for some reason, no butter nor eggs???? prices are much better than the groceries.

      Buy the best meat you can afford. If it’s ground beef from Aldi or Walmart, then you know it’s still far better than any other food you could eat.. If you are *only* eating meat and eggs, then the grocery budget has potentially more room for buying from a local rancher. I buy about 2 lbs ground beef a week from a local rancher at $9.50/lb, and the rest is Costco or Aldi meat around $4/lb. I would love to eventually buy only from a local rancher but we definitely can’t afford it yet. But I’m happy to budget in $19 a week to get good quality meat and pay money to a small far vs a big corporation.

    8:09 Diet trumps exercise. Yes they are both important, but you can’t outrun a bad diet!

    Yeah, you you can find a local farmer, but they won't give you the cuts of meat that you want. Everything is in package deals so you either have to have 60% ground beef, then some ribs, and a few steaks here and there but you don't have a choice you have to pick their groupings of meat. I would much rather buy a half a Beef and get the types of cuts that I want and then pay him for however much it weighs.

      That’s a pretty sad attitude to have. Buying from a farmer is NOT like buying from a big chain supermarket/wholesale big box store. Farmers and ranchers have to be sure that they can sell ALL of the cuts, and they certainly DON’T have an unlimited supply!

    Maybe that's my problem; bad meat I'm getting from grocery store. At 65, been full carnivore almost a year. Felt great till January then feet and legs began to swell, stomach often bloated. Thought it was oxalate dumping but if so Sally Norton advice hasn't helped. Even able to get 5 lbs of beef fat every week past month, no help.

      I have plenty of local farmers with good grass fed beef but the prices are out of touch for me. I'd rather buy it but at 3 to 4 times the price of my local grocer. I have to choose the grocer. He has fairly quality beef.

    Why not cook a 2.5 lbs of walmart hamburger and cook 2.5 lbs of your hamburger and weigh them both with meat and the liquid fat to show how much water weight in the walmart hamburger. Then people will understand why it is worth spending more to buy a better product like yours.
