Aight the useful info: 60 second buffs from forms. Priestess dragon cult lighting incantation buff. Rock dragon cult breath buff. Lamenter arcane +8 Reactivate the consumable to active the buffs. All have base resistance buffs that are generally good but specialiced armors beat them hands down for specific resistance.

The Rock Heart had a bug where after I got it and used it, about 30 seconds later maybe a little over a minute, my character died, like it played the sound and the white mist that happens when you fade away, but I wasn't dead and at full HP. I never had the black syrup didnt even know about it, so i got the weapon and heart. Biggest boon is the weapon decreases lightning resistance on the target.
Just as a heads up for other people who killed Igon like I did, you can still get all three forms. When you defeat Bayle, you will still get the drops from the priestess.
But what happens when you finish the quest will she still be there to keep giving you the dragon blessing I want to see disappear how do you keep getting it

The DLC provides 2 forms of boosting capital, ancient dragon cult incantations. The priestess heart , and the death knight armor set. I'm curious if there is an armor set that boosts dragon communion incantations outside of the rock heart.
One can only wish although it likely wont. However since the priestess heart boost lightning incantations then perhaps it will boost the ash of war on those weapons as well. As you may know the ashes of war function as incantations on many weapons and things that boost incantations such as mesmers flame always boost the ash of war on his associated weapon.
Tip for Senesax, kite him to the left of the boss arena up the hill and you can get some easy head shots and it pulls him out of the water. Don’t go to far up the hill or he will spawn back in the middle of the arena, though his health won’t reset. Much easier to deal with.
I’m just here to confirm that if you somehow killed Bayle first like me, the npc wont be there, but if you collect the paint and go back it will spawn and give you the heart
Hold on, there's 3 now?? First it was 1, seeing 2 yesterday surprised me, and now i see 3. I got just far enough to get the grace in front of the priestess and talk to her (grand communion site) and then i left to go do some other stuff since basically everything is telling me that Bayle is a monster so I wanted to power up a bit and maybe find a good weapon or 2 and get some practice in with their move sets. Should i wait another week and see if it jumps up to 5 forms??
I managed to get all but the rock heart without even realizing it. I just assumed they were regular dragon heart items. I have the painting so I just need to grab that really quick.

I accidentally "attacked" Igon (Electrocharge); you can absolve yourself here from the Church of Vows in Lands Between; I guess it's one of the few ways the main game and DLC interact.
Too bad they did not make it into an acual real form. Where you maybe gets unique beastial claws with a dragon specific ash of war that makes you feel like a dragon in combat.
Just use dragon comunion incantations. You got claws, jaws, roars, breath and everything else you might want. This DLC is making me want to make a new playthrough with a dragon comunion character.

I gave the dragon priestess the sleep potion and now I have a worthless summon and faith spell instead of two badass items for my arcane build. feels bad man.
There are only two dragon aspects. The third one in this video is a lamentor, an omen-esque creature. It does nothing for boosting draconic skills, but it does give you a decent arcane boost.
@strictly_fades The regular dragon form boosts dragon communion incantations, like the breath and claw attacks. The dragon priestess form boosts ancient dragon cult incantations, like the red lightning incantations. The lamenter form, while not a dragon, boosts your arcane by 8 and gives you a swelling headbutt attack. So there's not really a "best one" it just depends on which kind of boosts you want.
Use the lamenters mask a second time when transformed to headbutt, I wouldn’t recommend using it as a main for, of damage but it’s still pretty funny to use sparingly or for a challenge run
I didn't know what i was supposed to do so i immediately killed igon i now regret that on ng+4 bayle is kicking my ass sometimes one shotting me and most of the time two shotting me.

If you use Tholiers potion on her and get the Incantation, you can further exhaust her dialogue and get her as a summon as well.

With the 2 drakes I waited it to kill the other one and then beat him up while he had reduced health. Remember, work smarter not harder.
