OMG this DLC is a whole-ass game. I'm going to watch this later when I'm done with the other 9000 things in this DLC lol.

I though I was almost done and than I notice I had to do the dragon area, the red flowet one, I discovered and did the madness zone + 2 other zones on top of the map... That's not even counting the thing am not aware off.

Calling bayle easy is such a slap in my face and piss in my cheerios
Mimic + the co-op summon (Igon?) makes it significantly easier.
Honestly with the Dragon Great Katana he was not nearly as hard as I had expected from all the talk online. People comparing him to DS3 Midir must not have fought Midir...
Was using long range caster. BAAAD idea. Have to stay under him, then most of his BS moves dont get used. He´s way too damaging, aggressive, long reaching with his attacks at ranged play.
I saw people say it was the 2nd hardest boss but I don't agree.
Gaius took me much more tries
@@ganondorf66 Gaius was just cheap. Extremely damaging and horrendous hit boxes. At least with Bayle, messmer and the rest of the bosses it was fair and if I died it was due to skill at that time. Gaius is none of those things

5:06 fun fact, when I reached this arena, the two drakes were fighting each other. like a good coward, I just waited for one of them to die and killed the other. ggs.

Aight the useful info:
60 second buffs from forms.
Priestess dragon cult lighting incantation buff.
Rock dragon cult breath buff.
Lamenter arcane +8
Reactivate the consumable to active the buffs.
All have base resistance buffs that are generally good but specialiced armors beat them hands down for specific resistance.
Other thing, you have 0 poise while tranformed since you got no armor. Which kinda make it worse for me.
rock heart buffs dragon communion, not dragon cult
Also weight is 0 which makes Blue Dancer charm amazing for these.

Just as a heads up for other people who killed Igon like I did, you can still get all three forms. When you defeat Bayle, you will still get the drops from the priestess.
you can get the dragon priest as a summon if you offer yourself as her lord.
Without putting her to sleep?

Nothing quite like being rewarded for roofying an innocent dragonoid lady and then lying her about it so that she mistakenly pledges herself to her abuser upon getting kicked out of her circle that you're responsible for the ousting of.
The male dragon form boosts dragon breath incantations and the female dragon form boosts dragon cult incantations, but i do not know what the 3rd form does. You have to use the heart while transformed for the boost, so use the same heart twice.
It increases your arcane by 8 although the silver tear mask does the same
Are you referring to the priestess form? Because that’s the 2nd form in this video, not the male. I’m using the male form and I don’t feel or see any improvement with my dragon breaths. Thinking about switching to priestess if it gives me a power boost.
@@Sasori0fTheSand Use the heart while in that form for its boost, yeah sorry i got the order mixed up. The male form is the breath attacks and the female form is the lighting cults. For both forms using the heart while transformed gives you the boost.
Also provides some armor negations tho you can’t wear your own armor

Finally! I was so happy when I fought the Dragon invader because I knew, we would have the option to finally have a dragon form like the Dark Souls games.

Lamenters mask is omen form not dragon form
The Rock Heart had a bug where after I got it and used it, about 30 seconds later maybe a little over a minute, my character died, like it played the sound and the white mist that happens when you fade away, but I wasn't dead and at full HP.
I never had the black syrup didnt even know about it, so i got the weapon and heart. Biggest boon is the weapon decreases lightning resistance on the target.
Im glad they brought transformations back, though i am a bit bummed out that they're still just a model change, i think itd be cool if idk atleast your height and run animations changed too, but it is what it is
Im pretty sure it changed my characters height when I used it
You dont have to kill senesax if you're struggling with him. You can just walk by him and continue on the path
3:00 you can more for free from her. If u die to bayle, go back to the priestess and she’ll give u another blessing
But what happens when you finish the quest will she still be there to keep giving you the dragon blessing I want to see disappear how do you keep getting it
If you use Tholiers potion on her and get the Incantation, you can further exhaust her dialogue and get her as a summon as well.

I managed to get all but the rock heart without even realizing it. I just assumed they were regular dragon heart items. I have the painting so I just need to grab that really quick.

I wonder if you using the Dragon Priest Form would affect the Ancient Dragon equipment - Dragonking Craiglade, Gransax's Bolt
One can only wish although it likely wont. However since the priestess heart boost lightning incantations then perhaps it will boost the ash of war on those weapons as well.
As you may know the ashes of war function as incantations on many weapons and things that boost incantations such as mesmers flame always boost the ash of war on his associated weapon.

The DLC provides 2 forms of boosting capital, ancient dragon cult incantations. The priestess heart , and the death knight armor set. I'm curious if there is an armor set that boosts dragon communion incantations outside of the rock heart.
Hold on, there's 3 now?? First it was 1, seeing 2 yesterday surprised me, and now i see 3. I got just far enough to get the grace in front of the priestess and talk to her (grand communion site) and then i left to go do some other stuff since basically everything is telling me that Bayle is a monster so I wanted to power up a bit and maybe find a good weapon or 2 and get some practice in with their move sets.
Should i wait another week and see if it jumps up to 5 forms??

I thought of this unfortunately after I fought the Lamenter, but you get the crying Prattling Pate. If you use it while fighting them, would it do anything?

I’m just here to confirm that if you somehow killed Bayle first like me, the npc wont be there, but if you collect the paint and go back it will spawn and give you the heart
You can also get the priestess as a Summon Spirit.

You said you can only use the dragon blessing only once. That is false. After using she fives you another infinitely. Not sure about once shes gone because i havent used it since she lefr
Too bad they did not make it into an acual real form. Where you maybe gets unique beastial claws with a dragon specific ash of war that makes you feel like a dragon in combat.

I didn't know what i was supposed to do so i immediately killed igon i now regret that on ng+4 bayle is kicking my ass sometimes one shotting me and most of the time two shotting me.

There are only two dragon aspects. The third one in this video is a lamentor, an omen-esque creature. It does nothing for boosting draconic skills, but it does give you a decent arcane boost.
Are the dragon forms one time use? Or can I turn back into it if I die?
Can use it multiple times but have to reuse when u die

I killed Bayle before even interacting with the priestess and I could do the whole questline. In case anyone is wondering. He even dropped the same items.

@@chonkhampter The scaling only goes to ng +7, but you can go to ng+100 or more if you want, but with the same difficulty as ng+7
